How to setup and run JSP project in BEA Weblogic

i am trying to run my JSP project located in c:\project. i am actually running it in Tomcat webserver, this time i wanna test it in bea weblogic server, i have downloaded a version 8.1, before purchasing the software for development use, i wanna know and test first BEA's integrity and use... my question is how can i set up the base document path that i have in tomcat in bea, so i can just point it to such directory and run it directly using port 7001 for bea weblogic server..
can anybody help me get tru it step-by-step??

Simplest way "in my opinion":
1. start weblogic Server. You can use Server with examples. This domain
is already configured, so You will not need any domain configuration tasks.
2. open weblogic administration console using browser
http://localhost:7001/console/. Log in.
3. On the left side choose Deployments -> Web Application Modules
4. Click "Deploy a new Web Application Module"
5. Find folder with Your application. Mark it and click Target Module.
6. Define Application name and click Deploy
7. If deployed successfully, Your application should be accessible at
http://localhost:7001/YourApplicationContextRoot

After Log in instead of standard responsibilites page we calling custom jsp page, For getting DB connection they defined one properties file and hard coded DB details on that file and calling, but client is not accepting hard coding.

I have installed the Reports Server as a service on a Windows machine ( my OS is Window server 2003).
I created a new reports server service as following (in Command Prompt):
c:\ rwserver -install repserver autostart=yes
but not working and notified ' Please consult the installation guides for how to set up and run this program'
Has anyone showed me 'the syntax rwserver.exe' to install this service.

For HP Pavillion DV9925nr Laptop, I replaced a new Hard-Drive and installed the first CD Recovery (purchased online). After one minus installing the CD Recovery, it shows Errors message: "Error 0x4001100200000100A, If this error, contact HP" What can I do? Need help!

Once unit is powered on keep tapping F10 Key go to Diagnostics run the Hard drive test and check it this passes.
Use the following steps to recover the computer from a set of recovery discs (either CDs or DVDs):
Disconnect and remove all external devices such as printers, USB drives, and memory cards.
Turn on the computer, if it is not already on, and insert the first recovery disc labeled #1.
After the first disc is in the drive and the drive is closed, turn off the computer by pressing and holding the Power button.
Turn on the computer. The computer opens the Recovery Manager program.
On the System recovery screen, select Run program from disc , and then click Next . A Welcome to Recovery Manager screen opens.
On the Welcome to Recovery Manager screen, click Next .
On the Microsoft System Restore screen, select No , and then click Next .
Another System recovery screen opens. Select Yes , and then click Next .
The Recovery Manager gives you the option of backing up your data files. To do so, readBacking up your files .
If you do not want to backup your files, select Recover without backing up your files , and then click Next .
Read and respond to the screens as they appear. If a screen prompts for a disc, insert the next disc. In some cases, you may have to repeatedly insert the same disc several times before the screen allows you to continue.
After the System Recovery is complete, the computer restarts and continues into Windows setup. Complete the setup screens and wait until the computer finishes the setup. Then, turn off the computer, reconnect all peripheral devices, and turn on the computer.
Before using the computer, update and protect your computer. Reinstall any virus and security software that was installed before the System Recovery.
Reinstall any software applications that were after purchasing the computer, and any files that were backed up.
If all off these does not work please call HP technical support and order the new recovery disc.

In EJB 3.0 No need of any Deployment Descriptors....
And If you are using Eclipse You can Deploy(as jar) using Export in File tab...

Got new miniMac servers with 2x750GB drives. How to setup and confirm RAID mirror?

Literally just got shiny new miniMac Server with the dual 70GB internakky hard drives/disks with
OS X 10.7.$ LION pre-installed. What a nice machine in a super cool box!
Seemed to bootup and run fine!
Now my issue (there will be more for this MAC newbie):
A. How to setup AND more importantly (item B below) CONFIRM that a RAID MIRROR is working?
Want nothing fancier than 2-nd drive is exact duplicate of 1-st drive at all times.
That is, an 'active and full up-to -the second" backup of the main 1-st drive.
I have done nothing to 1-st drive as it came from APPLE.
When I try to setup RAID set using DISK Utility, I get message about system(1-st drive) can't be used in a RAID or such.
yet I can add 2-nd drive to what I tink is a RAID set and then 'Enable' it.
It seems to add another entry to thr left-side of drves list panel but not sure that 1-st and 2-nd drives are BOTH in the new
"RAID SET' or that the set just consists of the "single" 2-nd disk?
B. I don't think that 1-st drive data is actually being duplicated to 2-nd drive.
For instance, how do I know that it was 'caught up' to match 1-st drive AND then is
staying caught up?
C. A 'RAID UTILITY' Icon brings up a not-available message, but I think that is because I don't
have HARDWARE RAID controller, just software RAID, correct?
D. What is 'Time Machine' and how does it play into this? I do assume that somehow/someway I need to
have off-machine backups also to be truly protected? How would a 2-nd identical miniMAC server be best
deployed to back each other up, in addition to their own internal RAID-ed disks that items above address?
My whole point of buying 2x750GB disks was to have mirror RAID set and
(foolishly) assumed that factory would set it up that way.
Please help me get setup right so when the inevitable crash happens,
I have some chance of recovering from it.

A. What are you adding to the RAID: a partition or a hard drive? You can only add hard drives to a RAID. RAID Utility should confirm that your RAID is working
B. No, I don't think so
C. It's because you haven't got RAID hardware.
D. Time Machine is a backup system in external drives. If you want, you can do backups in a external hard drive.

My program Test.java in F:\Tomcat5\webapps\Ambika\WEB-INF\Classes. I compiled in the format below. I got like this. What should I do for this? But yesterday I compiled like this only, It compiled and the folder com\cert\Test.class is created. Today again I compiled the pgm after deleting the already created folder 'com\cert', I got the error like this.

Libraries and JAR files in netbeans... how to build and deploy a project??

I'm having a problem deploying my project. I have created a project structure as so:

Now I can build and run the project in Netbeans (version 5.5) and everything operates as it should. However, if I navigate to the dist folder of the project to the CLOGE_1.0.jar file via the Windows XP Command Prompt and execute "java -jar "CLOGE_1.0.jar", I get this error:


Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/rosuda/JRclient/RSrvException 
 at rdemo.ClogeGUI.clogeRScript(ClogeGUI.java:134)

What do I have to do, so I can simply double-click the CLOGE_1.0.jar file and the project runs?

Wasn't contracted. Wasn't paid. Wasn't the main focus of the software ;) - I was asked to do it for my technical expertise in statistics and bioinformatics... anyone else here mind giving me some hints other than this unspeakably pathetic excuse for a programmer.
(by the way "jwenting", if you call yourself a professional and take that attitude to other programmers you won't be in a company very long! Don't jump to assumptions and don't use the internet as some portal to exercise anger that women don't find you attractive and all you have to be cocky about is programming, it's pathetic. Grow up please.
What I am trying to work out about the answer above, is why. It could mean (1) that you don't know the answer and shunning me so is some poor attempt to save your diminishing ego, which from reading your other posts may be true. It could mean (2) you can't be arsed, which is more likely the case, but then one has to ask why the hell you came on here in the first place. Do you get a kick out of this? Is this your claim to fame - a java forum silver member?? It's not like I wasn't polite or clear in my explanation. Did some unqualified individual steal your job from you once upon a time so all "newbies" thereafter were a target for your pent up aggression? If so, don't worry I am not gunning for your position at all!)
