I am trying to configure cloud in ipad2. Can someone help me?

When you are in iBooks - click on the collections button and make sure that you are looking in the right place for the PDF. If you can't find it, you can try restarting, resetting the iPad or quit iBooks, restart the iPad and look again.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
To quit iBooks - Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
If none of these things work try dragging and dropping the pdf onto the section under the Library heading on the left side of the iTunes window. Then go into the Books Tab of iTunes and make sure that the pdf is checked to sync and then sync. It should transfer to iBooks.

How to setup real SFTP in Yosemite?

There's lots and lots of information online about how to setup remote access to my mac using SSH and SFTP in Yosemite...but apparently none of it is actually useful for genuinely remote access...access from outside my network, access from miles away. Because here is what I have learned:
The ip address listed in the Sharing pane when you access remote login is internal. it's some version of 192.168.x.x, which is essentially everybody's computer and utterly useless from outside the network.
So my actual public ip as assigned by my service provider is really my IP if you are trying to get to my computer from outside.
But that IP doesn't "just work" via SSH or, much more importantly for me, SFTP. Evidently that involves something called "port forwarding" which one used to be able to do via Airport Utility, but is no longer possible because such options do not exist in the current version of the utility.
(What I want to achieve is for a friend of mine, a friend on a mac about 4 miles away, to be able to directly access very large files on my computer. I don't want to use clouds or public sites or anything like that, I just want to be my own private little FTP server just for her. That used to be no big deal.)
So... is there a solution for this?

Dropbox may be a better option if you can both have accounts with enough storage, it is a simple setup process that can be forgotten about.
Bittorrent sync is another option that mirrors data between several endpoints. You should get better performance if the files are not being transferred over the network (Dropbox & Bittorrent sync create copies at each end).
ssh & port forwarding allows you to use sftp, if you do some more setup you can also use sshfuse to mount the remote content as a network disk, it's a plugin for http://osxfuse.github.io
Just be aware that many scripts & botnets are constantly attempting to login on visible ssh ports on routers across the internet. Enabling ssh to outside access means that any user on you Mac can be a potential login - have good passwords set on ALL user accounts, and do not enable the root account password. There are also options to disable passwords in ssh (& use ssh keys only) if you want better security.
ssh is good, but it is not trivial to setup and it won't open ports for you. Apps like bittorrent sync can use UPnP to request port forwarding rules, to make setup easier.
Back to My Mac is OK, provided you are willing to hand over the keys to your Apple ID.
P.S. You keep mentioning ftp, please avoid ftp. ftp can use plain text passwords that can be sniffed over the network, avoid opening the network to inbound ftp traffic too.

How to setup stack files on desktop

I just got my first macpro and accidently blew away my stacked files that were located on bottom rgt corner of screen. could not find in trash so do not know where it went ... just know that while dragging this stack across screen and released it I saw a cloud icon then it was gone. anyone know how i can get it back or how to setup a stack again...should be easy?

Items in the Dock are just aliases (shortcuts) to the actual files/folders somewhere on the computer. I can't remember exactly what is on the right side by default, but probably the Downloads folder or the Documents folder.
If you want a stack in the Dock, just drag a folder from the Finder to the Dock and the OS will make an alias to the folder in the Dock. When you drag off the dock, you are deleting the alias to the item. if you control-click or click on hold on the folder in the Dock, you can choose the display options that you want it to have.
Stacks only exist in the Dock. You can't move them to the Desktop.
If you want an alias to a particular folder on your Desktop, cmdoptdrag the folder to the desktop. While you are dragging you will see the alias badge (a swooped arrow) indicating you will create an alias, not move the file/folder. Keeping things on the desktop takes up lots more resources than other folders, so it is not a good idea to put a lot of items there.

Does anyone know how to setup Back to My Mac on iCloud? I never had MobileMe, and all the instructions I find online are for MobileMe. It seems like a really cool concept, though.
The computers I have are a Mac Pro and a Macbook Pro. Both running the latest update of Lion.

I've done that. It goes through as if there are no problems, but I still can't use it. Also, when I try to login using my apple ID, it doesn't work. I've gone to the Airport Utility and tried setting up my apple ID with the mobile me tab, but it asks for my me.com username and password. I never had a password for it, because I setup using cloud. Holy crap I finally figured it out! Apparently I was calling the wrong number, and had to ask specifically what I needed. If you purchase your iPad from Apple (new or refurb), you need to call 800-256-4646 and press 1. Tell then you are interested in activating your iPad mobile broadband and you want to 1gig $20 pre-paid plan. They will transfer you to the right department. When you get on the phone with the CSR, ask for a tech. If they wonder why tell them you have an iPad 2 Verizon model you bought from Apple and need to activate it on their network so you need to submit your MEID. When you get to the tech, tell them what your MEID is (setting, general, about), and they will check to see if it is in their system. If it is not, the tech will need to submit it, and the process take about 72 hours.

One route would be to utilize a "roaming" network. In a roaming network, you would connect multiple AirPort Extreme Base Stations (AEBS) to the same Ethernet. Of course, this would require that your home is already wired for Ethernet.

First question that I am not clear on your answer about: Is the Apple ID itself a valid email address, and the same one that you have as your Primary email address on your account? If the actual Apple ID is not an email address, then that is why you are not able to sign on to iCloud or to verify it....it must be an email address.
If it is an email address then:
Update your OS to the latest version - 10.8.5
Once you have updated, reboot the Mac and then go to Preferences>iCloud and try to sign on with your Apple ID again.
Check Manage your Apple ID to make sure that your Apple ID/Primary email address is verified.
If the problem persists, contact iCloud Support to see if they can provide you with an explanation of the meaning of the message. If the Apple ID has already been verified, then I'm not sure why you would be getting this messge:

I tried to follow all this documents but still i am not able to set SSL for Oracle Portal Server.

Section 6.3.2.1 Configuring SSL for OracleAS Portal describes various configurations, such as:

External SSL with Non-SSL Within Oracle Application Server
For larger enterprise configurations, you can refer to the Enterprise Deployment Guide.
