hi,
Please check metalink note 455103.1 which will start out with providing viewlets (flash files) to show you how to use the Grade Step Progression functionality in Oracle HRMS with all the needed setup.
you can download all of these flash files to your pc.
this note has been recently added into Metalink.
Good Luck,

  • Incorrect Grade Scales and Scale Rates

    Hi Gurus
    Could you please give me your input on the following issue:
    My client is a South African government department and are using Pay Scales, Scale Rate (Point values), and Grade Rates (Grade Steps and Points) for Pay progression etc. They went live on 1st march 2009.
    During July 2010, due to government retsructuring of the Pay Scales and Grade Rates, we end dated the old Pay Scales and Grade Rates and implemented a new Pay Scale and new Grade Rates.
    Now the client realises that the Pay Scales and the Scale Rate were incorrect during the period 1st April to 30 June 2009. Some employees have been overpaid
    for that period. Although the client has handled the recovery of overpaid salaries manually (outside the Oracle Payroll), they need the Pay Scales and Grade Rates corrected because of future retro pays.
    We are at a point where there have been many changes to employees Grade and Grade Step records and various changes to the various Pay Scales. Is there any other way of handling this situation without having to delete historical records and recapturing the history after correction?
    Your input will be precious! Thank You
    Heidi

    Hi Yi Y,
    Thanks for your reply.
    The attached files are the correct .wrl file and the one read from LabVIEW.
    The colored is incorrect, the car is seperated to some parts, and the scale of some of the parts are wrong.
    I think you can use any .wrl reader to read the wrl file I posted, all the reader I tried can read it successfully besides LabVIEW.
    In the vi I have you can try to adjust the scale or rotate it then I think you can find the seperated car parts.
    I will appreciate if you can give me any suggestion. Thanks,
    -Alex

    You can't switch languages in OS X programs, just in the OS itself. Insert the Leopard OS X disc, and choose your new preferred language when prompted.

  • 1 How to setup new company name   2 How to setup row, rock and bin

    Hi,
    Anybody who can help me how to setup new company.
    And also how to setup row, rock and bin because we need to assign a location for our spare parts inventory.
    Thanks in advance.

    Row/rack/bin sounds like an inventory system. For a simple system you might want to build your own from scratch, but for even a mid-sized company you really want a shrink-wrapped solution -- i.e. Oracle apps or SAP.
    You don't want to be figuring out how to model material transactions, move orders, etc. Nor do you probably want to dive into various cost accounting options.

  • How to avoid the Amount and Date values for VOID Cheques

    Hi All,
    I had created a two window i.e For Amount and Date. If I process the cheque the Amount value and Date should not trigger for VOID CHEQUES.
    Can any one tel me how to avoid the Amount and Date values for VOID Cheques
    Your help will be greatly appreciated.
    Regards
    Yathish

    Hi,
    I dont know which tablel you are referring to, is it PAYR table and the field VOIDR?
    If a cheque is voided, it would have a reason and it is stored in VOIDR field of this PAYR table.
    Check if the field VOIDR is filled, if it is filled, do not print the amount and date.

    Hi Gurus
    I am New to Solution Manager 4.0 and i want to setup Service Desk and Change Request Management for my client. Any one help me to guide where i can start and after configuring how the functionality of service desk and change request management.
    Can anybody send the documents with screen shot how to configure and how it lokks after Configuration.
    My client requirement is he wants to make Service desk as a ticketing tool and Charm as Change management tool
    Please help me
    Piont rewarded for solution
    Rajesh

    Hello
    I have configured Ibase for Charm, i followed spro config info as follows:
    Manually Create and Assign the Component Systems asiBase
    In this IMG activity, you define the Installed Base (iBase) manually, that is for refreshing existing iBases after solutions have been changed.
    An iBase component has to be created for each satellite system from which Service Desk messages will be sent to the SAP Solution Manager system.
    For the Value Added Reseller (VAR), it is not absolutely necessary to manually define the iBase at this point. We recommend, however, that you carry out this step so that you have a functioning test scenario.
    Activities
    1. In transaction Change Installed Base (IB52), choose iBase No. 1 (SOL_MAN_DATA_REP).
    2. Create under the IBase Header (SOL_MAN_DATA_REP) an IBase component, for example the SAP component system (SAP WEB AS) or use an existing one.
    3. To assign the systems as iBase components, go to the Text item tab.
    Three components are included in the standard package.
    4. Add all the satellite systems as text items to the table:
    Column Short text: Description of the system
    Column Identification: System ID, installation number, client
    5. Save.
    After changes have been made to a solution, repeat these steps to update system landscape data for iBase.
    Note:
    Every system is only listed once in the iBases. That means a system is not listed in an iBase if it has been listed in another iBase before.
    If the identification is not entered correctly, the system cannot correctly identify the component from the incoming Service Desk message.
    Its really good and I have set up the config in that way only.
    If useful reward the points.
    Thanks
    Regards

  • After zooming, how do I get x and y values?

    I have an instrument that saves data in a simple x and y format. When viewing this data I would like to determine the peak width, height, position and area. I have utilized the peak detector vi to pick the peak and set the threshold, however, I have not been successful at getting the peak width and area for a specific peak. I think my first step is to isolate the data range that my peak resides. So, after zooming on a specific peak, how do I extract the x and y values for that zoomed region and apply them to peak integration and fitting? Does anyone have a sample vi I could look at or is there already a canned vi in Labview to do this?
    Thanks
    Brian

    Have you tried to use the peak detector vi to search for *valleys* ? That could give you the peak start and end.
    If you decide to use manual positionning of peaks, you can get the x limits of the graph display using property nodes : Right click on the graph terminal then Create>>Property node. Right click on the property node then Properties>>X scale>>Range.
    You could also use graph cursors (wave form graph or XY graph) : make the cursor legend visible (right click on the graph), then give a name to cursor n°0 (peak start) and cursor n°1 (peak end). Set the cursor to "Lock to points". Get the x and y cursor coordinates using the cursor list property node, as illustrated in the attached example.
    Once you get the x start and end coordinates, data
    processing should not be too difficult, but depends on the data type you are dealing with (are the points equally spaced ? Are the data noisy ?..).
    If your start and end X coordinates do not correspond exactly to experimental data, you can either interpolate through the points or search for the index of the nearest points in the x array (use the Threshold 1D array vi for that, pass the x fractional value (that you got from your windowing zoom) as input, as shown in the second example.
    Ask if you need more help.

  • PAP2T - how to setup SIP proxy and codec on PAP2T

    Hello
    How to setup SIP Proxy server IP addres and codec settings on PAP2T ?

    Your question here appears related to or a continuation of this previous question — is this the case?
    Based on the previous posting, whatever information you're receiving from the vendor support folks appears rather garbled or confused, particularly based on that "The vendor mentioned that we need to route the DNS and get it working (forwarded) on port 80 and I'd tend to avoid them." comment over there.
    I'd ask the vendor for documentation and details (as on its face, a requirement for this proxy seems, well, somewhat questionable), but yes, you're probably in the Apache config files here, and probably using overrides and .htaccess if the site is low-volume, as that'll keep the changes isolated for testing.
    Out of curiousity, is this proxy project part of an attempt to get this package to accessible, but without the vendor actually having the package running on port 80?  (Got a pointer to the package?  We can check the docs, and see if we can translate the installation requirements into something useful on OS X Server.)
    Are you running 10.5 or 10.6?  Both are pretty old releases.

  • How to access sort direction and filter value of columns?  Can I catch the 'filtered' or 'sorted' event?

    We have some columns being added to a table.  We have set the sortProperty and the filterProperty on each of our columns.
    This allows us to both filter and sort.
    We want to be able to access the columns filter value and sort value after the fact.  Can we access the table and then the columns and then a columns properties to find these two items?  How can I access the sort direction and filter value of columns?
    We would also like to store the filter value and the sort direction, and re-apply them to the grid if they have been set in the past.  How can we dynamically set the filter value and sort direction of a column?
    Can I catch or view the 'filtered' or 'sorted' event?  We would like to look at the event that occurs when someone sorts or filters a column.  Where can I see this event or where can i tie into it, without overwriting the base function?

    Hey everyone,
    Just wanted to share how I implemented this:
    Attach a sort event handler to table - statusReportTable.attachSort(SortEventHandler);
    In this event handler, grab the sort order and sorted column name then set cookies with this info
    function SortEventHandler(eventData)
        var sortOrder = eventData.mParameters.sortOrder;
        var columnName = eventData.mParameters.column.mProperties.sortProperty;
        SetCookie(sortDirectionCookieName, sortOrder, tenYears);
        SetCookie(sortedColumnCookieName, columnName, tenYears);
    Added sortProperty and filterProperty to each column definition:
    sortProperty: "ColName", filterProperty: "ColName",
    When i fill the grid with data, i check my cookies to see if a value exists, and if so we apply this sort:
    function FindAndSortColumnByName(columnName, sortDirection (true or false))
        var columns = sap.ui.getCore().byId('statusReportTable').getColumns();
        var columnCount = columns.length;
        for(var i = 0; i < columnCount; i ++)
            if(columns[i].mProperties.sortProperty == columnName)
                columns[i].sort(sortDirection);

  • How do setup multiple send and receive domain on single virtual ironport?

    HI all
    how do i setup multiple send and receive domain on single virtual ironport?
    Daemien

    Please use the admin guide to assist you for setup/configuration:
    http://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/security/esa/esa8-0/user_guide/ESA_8-0-1_User_Guide.pdf
    On the VESA - the Recipient Access Table (RAT) will control which domains your appliance accepts for.
    AsyncOS uses a Recipient Access Table (RAT) for each public listener to manage accept and reject actions for recipient addresses. Recipent addresses include these:
    •Domains
    •Email addresses
    •Groups of email addresses
    This is covered in detail in the "Overview of Accepting or Rejecting Connections Based on the Recipient’s Address" section.
    Please see the "Configuring the Gateway to Receive Email" section for configuration of appliance for domains.
    Please see the "Defining Which Hosts Are Allowed to Connect Using the Host Access Table (HAT)" section for configuration of appliance for sending.
    I hope this helps!

  • Linear Regression - How to view t-statistic and p-value

    How can we view the t-statistic and p-value for the predictors in a linear regression or multiple linear regression model?

    The R code sample for LM would be as follows: model <- lm(dependent_var ~ independent_var, data=data.set)
    In the Azure ML gallery there are a few samples which can help you get set up with the experiment. (Sample name: Exploring the Usage of R in AML)

  • How do you drag-scale and copy at the same time?

    I just want to drag-scale and copy at the same time like in previous versions of illustrator by holding the command key while dragging. Can someone help me find out how to do this with CC? I don't have time to re-learn basic things over again. What was wrong with it the way it was?

    I guess you have to have the scale tool selected in the tool bar now in order to "drag-scale" and copy at the same time. Before you could just do it no matter what tool was selected in the tool bar. I liked it the way it was.
