I lost my apple tv 1st gen remote and was wondering if there was any type of bypass method to set up my iphone as the remote. I really hate to buy a new one so please let me know if you know anything!! Oh by the way I have used usb creator 3.0 and relized I didn't have the remote and was also wondering if I could ssh a code for my iphone in that matter ?

Here is the point : I use a standard iPhone 3G 16GB with iOS 3.1.3.
I wanted to unsimlock it so that I could use another carrier. So I called my carrier desk (Orange in France actually) and they said "OK, no problem Apple will send you a mail with the procedures.". Great ! I just received the mail and it seems I just have to "restore" my iPhone and it will be unsimlocked.
But here is the problem : by doing this iTunes want to me upgrade to iOS 4 !!! But I do not want that : I have seen the issues with iOS4 on an iPhone 3G and I want to keep my good old fashioned OS 3.1.3.
So to summarize : someone know how to do unsimlock without upgrading to IOS4 ?

You need a SIM from the carrier to which the phone is locked.

I have OSX 7.2 Lion but cannot figure out how to setup a signature on apple mail for my emails.

I just converted to OSx 7.2 Lion and starting using the applle mail instead of Entourage because I got a I phone 4S so I wanted to use the cloud. But I can not figure out how or if you can setup a signature to use when emailing. I had it with Entourage and its kinda nice for business so you can put your company name or title after you name without having to type it everytime. Anyone know if you can do it in Lion?

It's possible that the W2 you used was set up with the EchoSign service. It allows you to draw a signature with a mouse. This is available as well with more recent versions of Reader (10.1+) if the form isn't Reader-enabled or secured. You will see this in the Sign panel when the document is opened in Reader.
