Hi,
You can leave the Payment terms field in the sales area data tab blank. and you can enter the payment terms at line item level while creating the sales order. By that you will achieve multiple payment terms for the same customer in the same sales order. but the invoice will be split by standard SAP based on the payment terms.
Also difference between the "Payment Terms" field in Company code tab and the sales Area tab is.
Company code tab payment terms are used only for the documents that are posted directly in FI module. for example credit and debit memos posted directly in FI and as a leading practice this should always be "payable Immidiately"
Sales area Tab payment terms are the one which are copied on to the sales order header data which are valid for all the line items unless you specifically mention different payment terms at line item level.

Row/rack/bin sounds like an inventory system. For a simple system you might want to build your own from scratch, but for even a mid-sized company you really want a shrink-wrapped solution -- i.e. Oracle apps or SAP.
You don't want to be figuring out how to model material transactions, move orders, etc. Nor do you probably want to dive into various cost accounting options.

Negative Sales & Payment Terms

Does anyone know of a way to enter negative sales and/or payment terms into SAP?
We have the following terms of sale:
Due 5 days before delivery date.
Due 10 days before vessel arrival date.
etc.
does anyone have any idea how to enter terms like this?

Dear Mr.Shane kelly,
You are required to update Base line date of accounting documnet with delivery dates.
Base line date is base for payment term calculation.
During entry of customer and vendor invoice transactions, the baseline date field is a required field. You can not proceed with the posting of the transaction not unless the said field is filled-up.
In SAP system, you can customize the default baseline date for payment that appears during transaction entry. You may choose as default either the posting date, document date, entry date or no default date. Do remember you can override the default value of baseline date.
You can configure it in Payment term configuration OBB8.

You can develop BDC for update delivery date into base line date for T-CODE: FB09

New Vendor Payment Terms

We need to incorporate new payment terms, kindly suggest. I am providing the requirement of us below:
Required new payments for LC like:-
a)      30% advance against bank guarantee, 60% advance against the delivery of material, 10% after completion of work.
b)      30% advance against bank guarantee, 70% against profoma invoice after dispatch.
c)      100% advance along with the orders.
d)      20% advance along with the orders, 70% payment after the supply of materials, 10% after completion of work.
e)      10% advance along with the orders, 40% payment after inspection before dispatch, 50% after delivery

How to setup new sync when other devices not avaliable

Firefox Sync creates a nice circle which you cannot get out of when you try to setup Sync and you don't happen to be sitting next to your other device. When you click "setup Sync" -> "I already have an account" it then presents you with a key to use on one of your existing machines to add this one (no machine nearby), so I click on the link "I don't have the device with me" which then asks you to sign in with your username and password and provide a sync key from an existing machine! DUMB. I suggest some way on the Sync Website to add the sync key for the new machine there or something. I don't happen to be home with my other machines, and am trying to setup a new machine. I do NOT want to setup new sync info!

My suggestion is to copy the Sync key and take it to the other machine with you. You can carry it on a USB memory or send it by email.

i'm making a desktop wallpaper to display an announcement for my graphic design department at school, and i'm wanting to know the best way to set up the new document in PS CS4. i'm using the resolutions found under syst prefs > display prefs, just plugging those numbers into the new document setup for width and height. my question is what resolution i should use for a clean and sharp wallpaper, and should i just accept the default settings for color mode, color profile, and pixel aspect ratio.
FYI: right now i'm working on an 20" Intel iMac. models at school include 17" iMac G5's or early Intel iMacs, 20" and 24" aluminum Intel iMacs.

The resolution is irrelevant - pixel dimensions are all that matter. For instance, if the target desktop dimensions are 1920x1200 pixels, it doesn't matter if the resolution is 72 ppi or 300 ppi. Color mode should be RGB, profile should be sRGB and use square pixels.

Follow the below path for defining valuation class ;
SPRO>Materials Management>Valuation and Account Assignment>Account Determination>Account Determination Without Wizard--Define Valuation Classes
Note that Valuation class is linked to account category reference.
Account category ref is linked to Material Type.
Thus the system determines Valuation Class for a particular mat.type.
For detmining G/l accounts:
SPRO>Materials Management>Valuation and Account Assignment>Account Determination>Account Determination Without Wizard--Configure automatic postings
Click on account assignment. Double click on BSX , enter chart of accounts .
Against every valuation class you can find the G/L accounts.

How to setup new OC4J instance to host jdev business component (EJB)

From Jdeveloper 9.0.3 I want to deploy a business component to an new oc4j instance running under 9ias version 9.0.3.
In jdeveloper I have built and tested an application server connection (type=Oracle Application Sever Remote DCM) to my new oc4j instance on 9ias. My understanding is that the jdeveloper deployment profile wizard will help me construct a profile to build what is known as an "EJB session bean".
Using EmWebSite, I have created and started the new oc4j instance, and i constructed a datasource to be used for the database connection.
Is there anything else that I will need to do to the new 9ias oc4j instance prior to building the deployment profile in jdeveloper, and then running the deployment? For instance, does this new oc4j instance somehow have the necessary hooks in it to support this bc4j component? Do I need to install any missing jar files? Do I need to define rmi ports ? Do I need to configure BC4J support?
BTW ... I have tried to pursue this topic from the Jdeveloper side but the support personnel are not familar with 9ias 903, nor are they familar with 9ias Remote DCM deployment.

Yes, you should be able to deploy an BC4J application without making any other changes to an IAS instance. For standalone OC4J please look at http://otn.oracle.com/products/jdev/htdocs/config_oc4j_for_bc4j.html

How to setup new site in dreamweaver if not working with Local Site Folder?

Dear All,
I am working with a website design (wordpress) project with a group of people, since we are working together on the same design, our developing site is not located in the local folder but on remote server, but I can't setup the website in DW if the developing site is not located locally.
Is there any way to do the development on remote server with DW, and what will be the site setup setting for it?

Sharing a "Local" site is a recipe for disaster vis-a-vis file versioning. The best way to avoid these problems is to have three locations defined:
1. A local site (truly local to your computer, although it can be on a network, shared drive).
2. A staging site (this would be the intermediate holding site for partially finished work.
3. A production site (this would be where the final versions of files are pushed).
Enable DW's Checkin/Checkout facility. Each of you would checkout files from the staging server, and when finished editing, checkin those same files to the staging server. Thus, you are not sharing a local site - you are sharing a remote file repository, which is your gold standard source for version protected files.
