How to setup so kids carnt purchase on iTunes via Apple TV
Hi everyone I have purchased several Apple TV 2 and 3 .
My dilemma is I have my main Apple TV that I use set up so I can purchase from iTunes and see what I have on iCloud ,
but I want too setup 2 more atv up for the kids in their bedrooms but don't want them to purchase anything from iTunes
,although I still want them to see what's on the iCloud and be able to watch.
Is there any settings or way to connect these up like that.
Don't allow them to remember the store password for purchases, plus set up parental controls to require a passcode to purchase.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Are the movies purchased from the iTunes Store and if so were they purchased from the same account as the TV shows. -
I RECENTLY PURCHASED ANOTHER IPHONE. MY INTERNET IS NOT WORKING. I JUST CREATED AN APPLE ID. WHAT'S NEXT? I NOW HAVE TWO DIFFERENT ACCOUNTS WITH DIFFERENT USER NAMES. HOW CAN I USE ONLY ONE ACCOUNT FOR ITUNES, ICLOUD APPLE ID ETC???
Welcome to the Apple community.
iTunes and iCloud and different accounts, you will need to delete both accounts from your device before adding the new details in their place.
For iCloud go to settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit the delete button. You can then sign back in using your correct details. For iTunes go to settings >store, tap your account ID and then sign out, you can then sign back in using your correct Apple ID. -
How do I show my iCloud purchases in iTunes, but prevent it from showing duplicates of the songs I already have on my computer? There are duplicates of essentially everything!
I would like to show my available songs that I could download if I want, however the ones I've already downloaded to my computer are showing up still, which results in duplicates of everything (one on my computer, one in the cloud)No.
Are the photos in an iTunes backup? If so then:
- You can restore another iPod touch, iPhne or iPad from that backup
- Extract the photos from that backup by

How can I re-download the purchased in iTunes?
How can I re-download the purchased in iTunes? I purchased yesterday as I download the album there are many songs came in fragmented.
Your kind help would be highly appreciated.
ThanksIf you try to download something that you've already bought, then you don't have to buy it again. You can just press download. Therefore, if the songs are fragmented, you can just delete them and re-download them without paying a penny

How do I sync music purchased from iTunes via my iPhone4 to my computer's iTunes library?
How do I sync music purchased from iTunes via my iPhone4 to my computer's iTunes library without the need of additional software?
Hi,
When you connected your phone on your computer, open up iTunes, then on the left hand side, Right-Click (secondary click) on your iPhone, and choose "Transfer Purchases."

hi, i redeemed an itune gift card, how to i use it to purchase from itune store, my balance is 15e
Find the item that you want to buy and click on its price to buy it - as long as you are buying for yourself (you can't use your balance for gifting) then your balance should be automatically used.

How can I listen to music from iphone 4s via apple tv while doing a phone call at the same time?
When I take a call on the iphone, iphone stops streaming the music to apple tv until I finished the call.
thx!

PS: did ask the same question to apple hotline in germany. Answer: we don´t know... funnyWelcome to the Apple Community.
As far as I know you can't, which sort of makes sense, it seems logical to pause whatever you are doing while you take a phone call, which after all is the primary function of a phone. -
How to setup Cost Centres driven purchasing approval Hierarchy
Hi Guys,
My client has a Cost Centre set as a segment of their Key Flexfield
Every Approver has cost centre limited approval limit attached
Eg:
Approver AAA can approve upto 100$ for cost centre 1111 only
Approver BBB can approve upto 200$ for cost centre 2222 only
Approver CCC can approve upto 200$ for cost centre 1111 only
Required:
When Requester creates a requisition for a certain cost centre (ie cost centre 1111), oracle should build an approval list based on approval limits.
In our example:
Requestor creates requisition for 150$ for cost centre 1111
Generated Approval List: Approver AAA -> Approver CCC
Any ideas?
Thanks,
IanaThanks Sandeep!
My problem is not how to define approval groups (this will work!), but how to generate an approval list (or how to setup hierarchy)
Approval list should be generated from those people who can approve my cc, not my next in line manager
Eg:
when I create Req for cc 1111,
My approval list shd be: Approver AAA -> Approver CCC
when I create Req for cc 222,
My approval list shd be: Approver BBB
One solution can be to create a separate hierarchy for each CC range (ie Marketing, IT, etc) and let requestor to choose the correct hierarchy from LOV. The problem here will be that multiple hierarchies are difficult to maintain. For example, if the position for Deputy CFO changes, I have to adjust each hierarchy -
This has been a problem forever. I don't want to blank my devices and sync them. I just want to move files between them. It is a huge pain in a** that you can't just drag files around.
I have music from before ipods. It was put on an pc years ago that used to be linked to my current ipad2. All of my music is on the ipad2. that old pc has been reformatted and is now used as a workstation with only a few programs on it. I now have a new pc. I want my music on this pc. why am i not allowed to do this through itunes? why does syncing not take files on my ipad that aren't on my pc? why must i erase all of my data on the device in order to sync with itunes that has no data to sync?
All of the music i have purchased through itunes is fine. all of the apps are fine. what possible reason could there be for me not being permitted to take things that i own and put them on other things that i own?
I also have a new 5s. Why must i also erase this to put one friggin playlist on it?
Could i do this using an external hardrive? maybe. in an incredibly and overly laborious way. when the friggin files are right there. when i can look at them, and even play them through my pc from my ipad, but moving them over so i can put them on my phone.... **** no. the world would explode then.
The sync options should have a choice of putting all the combined data from both devices on both devices. I have absolutely no understanding of why in the year 2013 this is still a problem.
Most likely for the 10 trillionth time on this forum, how do i do this?See Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device.
While I agree that it would be nice if it was easier to transfer media from your Apple devices they should never be used as the sole location for any of your media. They are too easily lost, stolen, damaged, or corrupted. The user tip above also includes a link to a suggested library backup strategy so that you can avoid being in the same position in future.

How can I transfer music not purchased on iTunes to my new computer from my iPod?
I recently got a new computer and wanted the music from my iPod on it. I have a ton of CD's so over half the things I have on my iPod aren't things I purchased from iTunes.
When I went through the process of transferring (it only gave the option to transfer purchases) there were no songs from any of my CDs.
I have tried everything I know how and still I have not found anything to actually help. I've backed it up and there is still nothing new in my iTunes.
Why can I not transfer items not purchased from iTunes to my new computer? How do I do this?
I would greatly appreciate it if you would put an answer in the simplest form possible as I am not very tech-savvy.
I would also like to do this simply and without downloading another program if at all possible.
I have a Windows 7 computer if that is of any help.
Thank you!That is included here:
Syncing to a "New" Computer or replacing a "crashed" Hard Drive: Apple Support Communities -
I just recently had my hard drive replaced and lost all of my music and photos from it. I have all of my music and photos backed up onto my iPad and iPhone via iCloud.
I was able to download all of my purchased music from iTunes, back onto my MacBook. The problem is, how do I get the other music and photos from my iPad, back onto my MacBook? Is there any possible way to backup music that I did not purchase from iTunes on to iCloud?
No.
... if I happened to break my iPad, or if something happened to my Laptop.
If you like your music library, back up your laptop.
If you lose or break your iPad, you can sync your iTunes music library to a brand new one. You will lose nothing.
If you lose your laptop, or it crashes, or becomes virus-infested, you can restore your iTunes music library from your backup. You will lose nothing. Without a backup though, your music resides only on the iPad, and extracting it will require the assistance of third party (paid) utilities. Worse, there is no guarantee they will continue to function after some future iOS upgrade, since the iPad is not designed to work that way.
There are dozens of questions every day from people who lost their iTunes music when their laptop crashed. Your laptop will crash - it's only a question of when. -
HT1918 how to use debit card for purchase in itunes store?
i want to use debit card to purchase in itunes store and App store. How to change my account information using debit card?
Debit cards are no longer accepted in the iTunes Store, it seems. The current valid payment methods are listed here:
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5552
Using a debit card in any online service where it stores your card is a bad idea in any case since if someone gains access to your account in the service, they can quickly drain your bank account. Credit cards limit your liability, as do prepaid iTunes cards.

How do I return something I purchased on itunes
How do I return something I purchased on itunes
Purchases are considered final unless there is something wrong with the item e.g. music track or film that doesn't play, app that doesn't work as described on its description page in the store.
If that is the case (and you've tried deleting and redownloading it and/or contacted the developer if it's an app) then try the 'report a problem' link to contact iTunes Support : http://reportaproblem.apple.com
If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work then you can try contacting iTunes Support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption -
