Hi all,
I am new to this forum so please be kind.
I have just got myself this NE02 board along with 2 W/D Raptor SATA Hard Drives.

What I am looking to do is basically install 2 Raptor SATA drives not using raid,
And also have 2 ide cdrom drives.
Can someone please come back with a nice simple if that can be done! configuration on how i can best achive this.
Many thanks for all your help.

In bios under Integrated Peripherals, On Chip ATA Operating Mode set
Native Mode
ATA Configuration - SATA only
SATA Keep enabled - yes
PATA Keep enabled - yes
PATA channel selection - both
Configure SATA as Raid - no
Read the raid thread at the top anyway, as you may want to install the drivers during the XP install in case you change your mind later.
Also, during your Windows installation, just connect a single SATA drive untill you are up and running.

  • How to find out which type of the driver is used in our application?

    Hi all,
    can anyone tell me how to find out which type of the driver is used in our application?
    Thanks in advance,
    Phoeniox

    Hi,
    Check out this...
    Class.forName("com.mysql.jdbc.Driver"); //if u r using MySql
    List drivers = Collections.list(DriverManager.getDrivers());
                   for(int i=0;i<drivers.size();i++)
                        Driver driver = (Driver)drivers.get(i);
                        String driverName = driver.getClass().getName();
                        System.out.println("Driver "+i+":::"+driverName);
    you need to load the driver and display in the same program.
    Then only you'l get the required result.

  • How do I turn AppleTV off when I'm not using it?

    How do I turn off AppleTV when I'm not using it?

    It actually goes to sleep instead of powering off. Apple TV only uses 6 watts of power. That would mean 10 Apple TVs would consume the same amount of power as one 60 watt bulb and that's when it's on (not in the sleep mode).
    You can set it to go to sleep after 15 min., 30 min., etc. of inactivity in settings. I think the default is 15 min. That doesn't include watching a movie. You can also put it in the sleep mode in settings, but the easiest way is with the remote.
    Hold the Play/Pause button on the reomte for 5 secs to put it to sleep. This only works from the main menu. To go to the main menu quickly, hold the menu button for 3 secs.

  • How do we know the document is revered or not using transaction FBR2?

    Hi
    How do we know the document is revered or not using transaction FBR2?
    I mean is there any table updates the flag or document number. This document numbers are available in table BKPF.
    I will explain clearly.
    1) If new document is created... then BKPF will created entry with Doc type is "AC"
    2) If above document is reversed using transaction FBR2.... then table BKPF will create document with doc type "AD".
    But How would we knows Document type "AC "is reversed or not? Is there any field will update for this doc is reversed or not?

    Well, you aren't getting the correct response because you're using the wrong term and likely the posters aren't familiar with FBR2.  FBR2 is not a reversal transaction.  When you use FBR2, you are simply generating a REVERSE posting, not a 'reversal' or cancellation.  The REVERSE (meaning 'opposite') posting is made according to the configuration you have for your document types and posting keys.  The only way you can identify this is via the TCODE field.

  • How do you leave your iMac when you're not using it?

    Just curious..
    Hey All..
    I have a 24" iMac 2.8 with a 750GB Hard Drive. I tend to leave it on all the time shutting it down over night probably once a week. I have my settings to turn the display off after 5 minutes and turn off the hard disks "when possible". I just wondered if this was healthy or will it shorten the life expectancy of my pride and joy? I must admit that I do like to leave it on all the time. I leave my Time Capsule on all the time too...should I perhaps shut this down also?
    I have the Applecare program which gives me some piece of mind with my iMac.
    I'd be delighted and interested to hear how you all 'leave' your iMacs when you're not using them.
    Kind regards..
    ~RICKY

    I have my system plugged into a UPS and generally leave it sleeping. There's a window where I have it scheduled to wake up and then sleep again, but it I otherwise sleep it.
    I suspect that sleep probably puts the least wear on your machine and is safe if you have a UPS. FWIW, an early 2007 24" iMac draws 3W of power when it's off, and 10W or so when asleep ( the newer models use less than 6W). During the boot process, power consumption will go 200-220W for ~1 minute. Normal usage it consumes about 100W. Idling, the machine will use between 70-100W depending on the screen brightness, and about 45W if the display is off and machine is idle. Playing something like WoW brings the power consumption up over the 200W mark.
    The mechanical parts wear proportional to the number of times they are used (physical switches), and the electronic parts wear mostly based on the the result of cycles of temperature changes / surges of voltage. Pressing the power-button to power-on the Mac probably puts the most wear on the unit as a whole. That said, under normal circumstances you are not likely to put enough wear on anything but the hard disk to have it fail.

    When I updated the new version IOS5 and used icloud, some of the apps are missing, how can i find those apps (but i was not using my account to download some apps before).  Please advise.

    They are free to iOS 7 users who have activated their NEW device on Sept 1 2013 or after. They are NOT automatically free with iOS 7.
    AirDrop is only compatible with iPad 4th gen and iPad mini. iPad 3rd gen and below do contain the necessary hardware for AirDrop. Also, AirDrop is only compatible between iOS devices. You cannot AirDrop between iOS device and Mac OS.

  • RMI :- how to know that rmi registry is running or not using java code

    hi
    I want to know that how to check wather rmi registry is running or not by program in java
    plz any one reply

    Simple method - try to connect to it and see if you get an exception.
    Since the registry can be running on a remote machine, the only simple way
    is to try connecting.
    If the registry is running on a local machine you can also use OS tools (like "ps" on unix) to check whether the process is running, or network tools (e.g. netstat) to check whether it's listening on its TCP/IP port.

  • How to Install Hitachi SATA Deskstar Internal Hard Drive?

    I just purchased HITACHI SATA Deskstar 3/5" 500GB/16MB Cache/72RPM Internal Hard Drive, which said it was compatible with my Mac. I have a iMac mid 2007 2.4 GHz Intel Core Duo2 running OSx10.6.4. Is this a simple install or do you recommend I take it into repair? Any suggestions would be welcome, I am a bit of a novice.

    Thanks for the feedback. BTW, you might want to roll your own ext HD. I did this one in April when I got the 27":
    Macally GS350SUAB Hi-Speed eSATA/1394A/1394B/USB2.0 Storage Enclosure for 3.5inch SATA HDD
    Hitachi 1 TB Deskstar SATA 7200 RPM 32 MB Cache Internal Hard Drive HD31000 IDK/7K
    Search around Amazon and you'll probably come up with larger HDs to put into it.

  • HT201441 How to setup iPad when the previous owner is not known?

    The IT manager in my previous company helped me to set up my iPad initially. I have no contact with that person any longer. Now I have given my iPad to a friend but to set it up for my friend the iPad asks for the INITIAL ID and password of the person setting it up. I don't have this!
    How can we do to bypass this requirement??
    Thanks!

    You can't do anything. You have a phone you can never use.
    Your only option would be to return it to where you bought it and get a refund. Then when you next buy an iPhone, make sure that it has been properly wiped by the previous owner to avoid this situation again.

  • How to setup Blackberry L1 paging equivalent on the iPhone using Active Synch?

    Hello All
    I am enquiring about setting up email alerting triggers to specific email verbiage; either trigger word in the Subject of an email, or specific sender.  From an enterprise support personel perspective, our Help Desk pages us using the Remedy ticketing system that sends us an email.  On our Blackberries we then setup a Level 1 paging alert to the specific static subject line of that email that gets sent.  This way all other email alerting (audible or vibration) can be turned off and we set alerts to specific Subject line or Sender specific notifications so we are not alerted to the 1000 some odd emails we get daily and can respond to emails during an on-call rotation in the evenings.
    Is there any way to setup alerts on the iPhone in a similar fashion using Active Synch to a Microsoft Exchange 2010 server?

    Yeah, I can't do exactly what you are asking.  I get all the alerts as texts which alows me to then deal with them using a different "ring tone" but Apple is still behind Blackberry with thie one.  VIP support in the next version of iOS might help a litte.  Still not as roust but at least you could put remedy as a VIP and assign a different ring tone to it.

  • How to setup mac mini server (no optical drive)

    It's the Oct 2009 A1283 version.  This has no optical drive.
    What options do I have short of buying an external DVD rom drive?
    I have other imacs and air's.  Can I use one of their drives to reinstall the mini?  What kind of cable do I need?  FW800 <-->  FW800?

    I'm putting the orig os that came with it... 10.6.8.
    I found the manual online, and found I could do a remote OS install from another imac in Utilities... never saw that app before!
    Anyway, thanks!
    If there is another option, however, I would be interested in learning... please let me know.
    Thanks
