How to shade parts of this picture CS5
I have a layout of office space and saved as a jpeg. I would like to shade the areas of camera views that are based on a 50 degree angle. Can this be done.

How to colorize parts of a picture in black and white with Aperture?
Hello, I have a question: How to colorize parts of a picture in black and white with Aperture?
Use the Black & White Brick and then brush in or brush out.
You'll find this and several excellent methods listed in the "More Like This" box in the column to the right of these messages. (This comes up regularly -- and while the "More Like This" is a roundabout way to get there, you'll find your answers.) -
When i go on my ipod, i see that i have 73 picture and when i go on itunes it say's that i have 753 picture so i want to remove them because they took too much place but i don't see them on my ipod
Connect the iPod to your computer and look at the storage used by the various categories as shown in the colored bargarph in iTunes.
Come back with the results.
An "other" larger than about 1 1/2 GB indicates corrupted files.
What is the Other on my iPhone and How to Remove It
What is "Other" and What Can I Do About It?
Next, usually restoring from backup eliminated the corrupted files. However, sometimes restoring to factory settings/new iPod is required.
To restore from backup see:
iOS: How to back up
To restore to factory settings/new iPod see:

How can I delete the link to part of this script?
Hi there,
Can anyone tell me how to delete the 'link to' part of this
JavaScript as I am using this slideshow from Dynamic Drive however
I don't want to be able to click on the pictures and be taken to
another website. I'm not familiar with JavaScript so any help would
be much appreciated.
Thanks!

</script>Hello,
It looks like you already removed some code from the
fadeimages Array.
In the fadeimages Array, the script is looking for three
things: the image
path, the link and the target.
Since you don't want a link and don't need a target, just
insert an "empty
value" for each of these.
You only have the image path in the code, so the script fails
"when it
doesn't find the other two things it's looking for"..
Change this:
fadeimages[0]=["restaurantexterior1.jpg"]
fadeimages[1]=["restaurantinterior2.jpg"]
fadeimages[2]=["restaurantinteriorwall.jpg"]
To this:
fadeimages[0]=["restaurantexterior1.jpg", "", ""]
fadeimages[1]=["restaurantinterior2.jpg", "", ""]
fadeimages[2]=["restaurantinteriorwall.jpg", "", ""]
"" means no value, so now the script finds the image path,
then finds the
link which is empty and lastly, finds the target which is
empty.
Since it finds the three things it's looking for, it
processes.
Take care,
Tim

How do I make one part of a picture black and white and rest color?
I am working on new campaign for Vi-spring orange county. I need to take a photograph of a woman with a bare back sitting on a mattress and make part of the picture in black and white and the other part in color. I then need to insert an outline of a spine on top in a bright color. I would really appreciate some help on how to start.
I think what we need is a little more information.
When you say you want to make part of the image black and white, do you want to make certain areas of the image black and white or just do away with certain colors in the photo. You can do a selective color and get rid of all but one color ie. A red rose in a green field, take out all the green in the image and the red in the rose is the only thing that has color. Or you can take out one color and leave the rest of the colors in, so basically the oppsite of what I just explained.
If you want certain sections of a image black and white ie. a room with a bed in it make the whole room black and white and keep the bed in color...you need to look into masking.
If you want to do masking I can find you a tutorial for it, but I need to know if i'm on the right track. -
Everytime I send a message from my yahoo account (which is also my appleID account) a small icon picture (which is a pic of my ex-boyfriend) is attached to the e-mail heading. I'm able to notice I want to remove this from happening. The picture is displayed on my iphone when I open up the mail.
Steps I take:
1. I write an e-mail message from my yahoo account to my other .edu account on a desktop computer.
2. I send the e-mail message from my yahoo account to my other .edu account on a desktop computer.
3. When I open up my .edu account on my iPHONE, there is a new message from my yahoo account.
4. Upon opening the e-mail message on my iPHONE, in the title heading it has the title of the email along with a small (upper right) picture on the iPHONE.
Another thing that I tested was the same thing on my iPAD for text messages:
1. I set up my text messages to my yahoo account (which is also my apple ID account)
2. I send a text message to a person and the same small icon picture is shown on the ipad with each message that is sent
3. The person receiving the text message does not get the small icon picture; however, on the ipad it shows this picture (WHICH NEEDS TO BE REMOVED)
I need to determine how this icon picture is associated with both my yahoo and apple ID account. The funny thing is that I don't have this picture on any of my devices (mac, iphone, ipad). It has been completely removed from all of my technology sources. I'm thinking it has to be something to do with the origniation of my apple ID.
PLEASE HELP ME....this picture is hurting my professionalism when I send outgoing messages.
Thanks.search google for "iphone remove picture from contact"

I am trying to make a Photo Book using IPhoto for my granddaughter's wedding. I am using 6 pictures per page, as I have many pictures to add to book.
The picture size is small. But when I zoom is all the way down to the end to make smaller. Doesn't go far enough. When I try to put a picture in the square spot, it cuts off part of the picture. Has anyone else had this problem, and could help me out. I really would like to put on each page even more pictures, but that is not an option with IPhoto. I have used other sites to make books. This is my first try with IPhoto. I may have to revert to the old familiar ones. Wanted to give this one a try. My granddaughter leaves for Germany on the 21st to join her marine husband. I am quickly running out of time. (The wedding was this past Saturday)Place it the book, right click on it and fit to frame

In updating my iPod to 6.1.2, I received an error during the update. Now, my ipod is not rebooting. It continues to display a screen showing usb to Itunes picture. Turning off and back on, it goes back to this picture. I don't know how to reset so that I can restore from my backup.
A similar thing happened when I updated the ios on my ipad. But, I was able to reboot, and then restore from backup. How can I get my ipod to reboot and allow restore when it is not even recognized as I reconnect to my computer?Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

When i turn my iPad on, it keeps showing me how to use it, some random pictures, how to use mail etc. Anyway how to disable this?
Sounds like you got a store demo. Look in your settings and see if you see "Demo Mode/Demonstration Mode" or something similar.

Do you see the color in Designer, or only Acrobat. If it's only in Acrobat, try changing the menu item Forms >> Highlight Fields. This toggles entry field highlights on and off.
Mark
You can shut off or change the highlight with this
app.runtimeHighlightColor = color.red;

If someone steals my iPhone and deletes all pictures, that will sync to my Mac. So then all my photos are lost! How do I safeguard against this?
If your phone (plus syncing) is the only place you keep your pictures you are asking for trouble, theft or not. Back up onto an external hard disk which is only mounted when you need it, then nothing external can erase them. Then make use of Apple's facilities for protecting your phone:
If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch is lost or stolen - Apple Support
iCloud: Use Lost Mode
iCloud: Find My iPhone overview
Find My iPhone Activation Lock - Apple Support -
When I upload my pictures in organizer there is a red offline icon that appears when I remove my card and the pictures are blurry. How do I upload so this does not happen?
From your description, you are uploading from a card reader?
The normal option is to use 'Import from camera or card reader'. That should automatically copy your picture files to your computer.
The other option is to use 'Import from files/folders'.
It is normally used when your pictures are already on your computer.
But your Explorer can see your card reader as just another disk. Then you have the choice to tick the checkbox to copy the files to the computer at import time, or another checkbox to create a thumbnail. It looks like that was what you did.
In that case the thumbnail (the preview) is a very small image which becomes 'blurry' if you want to enlarge it.
For those who want to keep their files on external removeable media (dvds...) but want a suitable thumbnail to show, you can change the size of the preview in the preference menu. -
I have Photoshop cs5, version 12.0.5 x32 installed on a Widows box. I keep being offered an "Update" to 12.0.4 and am puzzled. How can I turn off this offer or should this update be applied? If it should be applied how to do it. When I try it, the update fails.
Thanks!I found the answer in another forum thread...
