This is a user forum, you won't get a response from Apple. You cannot currently delete single photos from the photostream. You have to reset it. To do this go to icloud.com - advanced - reset photostream. Then toggle off/on the photostream on your device(s)

Bought a new computer and don't want to lose all the work I did cataloging etc in Elements. Need to copy all pictures (17,000) over as well as all the tags & albums etc in Element to the new computer. Also, I am going from Elements 5 (Vista) on my old Computer to Elements 8 (Win 7) on my new PC. What are the steps needed to do this?
Should I first copy all the pictures over to the new computer in a folder.
Then backup Elements 5 on the old computer.
Then copy the elements 5 backup file to the new computer and restore that file into Elements 8?

You need to use back-up and restore.

How to Share All Photos Across All Devices?

Hello. I have a friend with an Ipad, an Iphone 5, and an Iphone 6. He has photos on each device. He has backed them all up to Icloud separately on the same apple id. He has the 200gb storage option.
The question is how can he see all his photos from all his devices on all of his devices? Photostream is only last 1000 photos, plus Apple just killed it with ios8. Isn't there a way to share them on all devices? It appears there is not and that is very surprising, especially after he is paying extra to have enhanced icloud functionality. Will he have to use a third party solution?

How to Download All pictures in an iCloud shared stream

Last month, I sent a client 25 pictures via a shared photo stream in iCloud. I set it up as a public site, they recieved the URL and downloaded all the pictures at once. I just tried to do this again ... same client, different pictures. They received the link, can access the URL, but they can only download one image at a time. They don't see any option for Download All.
I accessed the URL and found the same thing ... only one at a time. I didn't try it last time but my client is positive she download all at once.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I might have figured it out. My client has numerous Macs ... most are Mountain Lion, and a couple are Mavericks. Earlier today she tried the download on Mountain Lion, and that's where she was limited to one picture at a time. Just now she tried it on a Mavericks machine. She opened the newer version of iPhoto, logged into iCloud, and all my pictures ... 90 in two files ... loaded into iPhoto automatically. She must have used her Mavericks machine last month. The older version of iPhoto doesn't have the iCloud Share (as far as I know). But it all works now.
A video engineer I know, when confronted by something strange with hardware or software, likes to say, "Electricity is just a theory. I'm amazed when it works."

OK, I have a huge document on 1730 pages and all text and pictures are in the same layer.
How can I mark all the pictures and put them all in one (other) layer, without doing it manually, page by page?
(maybe using Find/change - Object?)

How to view all pictures on a particular disk

This might be a stupid question, but I can not figure out how to do what should be a very simple thing. I have pictures for 4 different HD's that are tied to the lightroom program. When importing I had it rename everything to a particular formate and asked it to be organized a certain way (year month day). Here is the thing I want to move the contents of a whole drive to another drive, but in lightroom there didn't seem to be a way to see pictures just from 1 particular drive. It is all just by year month and day. Is there a way to select and view in the library all images say from drive 1. In folder section just has year month and day---no actually drive location unless I right click and say show in finder, but I am not about to do that for 40,000 images. I have to be missing something---this should be such a basic thing.
Could someone help out?

While what you are saying makes sense, it's a bit vague.
Lightroom can move files and folders anywhere around drives, but will not move a folder into a location where that folder name already exists.
If you want to have the main drive appear as a folder, you should be able to select the root folder on the drive clicking + beside 'Folders' and choosing it.

Enter an ID and password in advanced menu/homesharing, enter the same details under computers on the Apple TV. Then select which pictures you want to share from the advanced menu.

Help! How to share iPhoto pictures between users on same computer

This has probably been posted before. If so, I appologize. My wife and I have seperate log ins and she can't see any of the photos we've imported on my log-in. Is there a neutal folder or user priveledge I need to set? I've tried everything I can think of although I am a new mac user. Thanks in advance!

There's also another way to do the same thing using iPhoto's alias mode. Tutorial #4 describes how to set it up and Tutorial #2 describes how to convert over to the alias system.

Nano music to computer: no (purchased songs: yes)
You have to transfer old iTunes library to the new computer.
You need 3rd party tool to transfer nano music to computer.

There is no Photo Stream picture viewer function on the icloud.com website. The Photo Stream function is just to move pictures around among your devices and computers, not to display them.
On the other hand, there is a "journal" feature in the iPhoto app for iOS that creates somethng vaguely like a photo album that can be viewed with a web browser, and the journal is stored in iCloud, but it is not accessed through icloud.com.

how can i remove pictures from my droid turbo without having to use the touch screen on the phone at all? my screen is cracked and i am waiting on a replacement phone. as far as i can tell in order to access the phone storage through my computer, i have to use the touchscreen to enable it so that the computer will see it as a camera. I can't do that as the top half of the touschscreen is unresponsive. any suggestions? teaches me to use the backup services offered in the future, but i still need a short term solution for this time.

I'm sorry to hear your screen is cracked spence425. I know its difficult to use the phone while its damaged. I'm happy you are receiving a replacement device. Have you saved any of your pictures and other data to the cloud? Here is a link about the cloud http://vz.to/1mF0GIx . Unfortunately, you will be unable to remove any data from the phone if the screen is unresponsive but if you are looking to transfer data to your new phone, it would have needed to be saved via the cloud first.
