How to share calendars

My wife and I have our own Macs and iPhones. We have separate iCloud accounts. I'm looking for a way to share calendars so we can keep track of our family activites. My Calendar and her Calendar would be merged into a shared calendar. Anyone know if this can be done and if so, how it can be done? Tanks in advance.

In Calendar, click on Calendars in the upper left corner to make them all visible if they aren't yet.
Right-click on any you want to share, than on Sharing Info. The rest should be self-explanatory.

  • How to share calendar from icloud to someone

I was wondering how to share your calendar schedule to someone.

    at www.iCloud.com
You sign in, click the calendar icon,
in the list of calendar's on the left
-> you should see a faint icon to the right of the calendar name.
    click that,
type the email address of the user you want to share with,
and whether you let them just View or View and Edit.
    Hope this helps!

  • How to share calendars among idevices?

My wife and I each have iPhones and iPads. Our iMacs are lion.
How do we share our calendars as we did with MobileMe?

The first area of concern here, is that you continue to see a .me account in iCal. This suggests to me that you have a .me account which has not yet been migrated to iCloud.
If this is the case, you should migrate it immediately, or you will lose it after midnight tonight.
You can check out what Apple IDs you have using the following link.
Look up your old and forgotten Apple ID
If indeed your .me account has yet to be migrated, you should do so now are the Move website.

  • How to share calendars between lumia 920 and 820?

    Hi
I´m having problems sharing calnedars between my 920 and my wifes 820.
They both use @hotmail calendars as a default.
I first tried to send her an invite to a meeting I created and noticed that it uses @gmail account picked up from facebook as a default so I added her @hotmail account to her contact info.
    The invite still doesn´t arrive.
Is it supposed to arrive as an invitation to the phone or just as an email?
Next I tried to share our calendars at microsoft live but nothing happens even it says its sending the share invite.
Am I doing someting wrong or what?

Hmm.. I tried to send an email to my @hotmail account to test it and it didn´t arrive so I checked the settings and it seems that my hotmail account is named @gmail.com. Probably cause I´ve used it to create the live account. I just thought that the hotmail account would automatically be named @hotmail. Now I can´t do pretty much anything with it since it doesn´t even let me access to gmail account when I try to link them.
Do I have to close the whole account to get this working or what? I´ve used the gmail address to create a microsoft account a long time ago and the address can´t be changed anymore.
I don´t even need a hotmail address but I understood that it is needed to get the calendar working in the phone?

  • HOW TO SHARE CALENDARS AND MAKE CHANGES

    HELLO,
I AM TRYING TO SHARE MULTIPLE CALENDARS IN ICAL WITH MY BOSS. HOWEVER, BECAUSE I'M THE AUTHOR OF THE CALENDAR AND HE'S A SUBSCRIBER, HE CAN'T MAKE ANY CHANGES TO THE CALENDAR OR SYNC IT TO HIS BLACKBERRY. IS THERE ANY THING WE CAN DO?? PLEASE HELP.

My boss and I have a similar problem - We both have mac's in a PC environment and backbone, I have editing rights in his calendar and it comes up in my ical on my computer but when I sync with my iphone his calendar does not show and I can therefore not make changes or notify anyone on the road that he isn't available. I find in incredulous that no one has answered you or my post earlier about virtually the same thing, I equally find it incredulous that this is an issue with Mac/ical/iphone STILL. Hope someone gives us an answer. Have you guys figured anything out on your own yet?

  • How do I share Address Book/Contacts with my partner's account?  We already figured out how to share Calendars

I am in the process of setting up separate icloud accounts for my husband and me (whereas we previously shared one).  We both want read/write access to a single address book across all devices (desktop, laptop, ipad, two iphones), which we've been able to do for Calendars - why not for Contacts???

The same sharing facility that you have for calendars does not exist for contacts.  What you could do is create a second ("secondary") iCloud account on one of devices by going to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Add Account>iCloud and signing in with a different ID and turn Contacts on in the secondary account.  Then add the secondary account to the other iOS devices and your Mac (by going to System Preferences>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Add Account>iCloud).  This will give you a merged listed of contacts in the secondary account on your devices while keeping other data separated in the primary account.

  • HT204053 how do I share calendars and music between two ID's?

How do I share calendars and music between two Apple ID's?  We have a Mac Pro and two Iphones.  Currently we utilize one ID between the Iphones in order to sync the calendars and music.

You can privately share a calendar between devices using different iCloud IDs as explained here: http://help.apple.com/icloud/#mm6b1a8694.  Even if your devices use different IDs for iCloud you can continue to share the same ID for iTunes to share your music and other purchased media.  The ID you use on a device for iCloud does not need to be the same as the ID used for iCloud.

  • How does one share calendar on all family iPhones?

How does one share calendar on all family iPhones without giving credit card for Family Share?

    Hello RetiredRichard1,
You do not need to have Family Sharing to share a calendar. All you need to do is figure out if you want the rest of the family to have the ability to create events with in it. If you do, then share it privately. If you just want them to see your calendar, share it publicly and they can just read it. Take a look at the article below to walk you through how to do this. If you want to follow along with the article, it will have you do things on iCloud.com but you can do this on your iOS devices and Mac.

  • How Does One Share Calendar(s)?

My wife and I each have iPads.  Mine is iPad 1, and hers is iPad 2.  Both use the current iOS 5.1.1.  We each have our own iCloud account and we currently share several calendars, but each have two that are not.  How do we share them all with each other?
I can't find anything in the iPad Guide that helps, and trying to email Apple is ridiculous as every site points you back to the home page.  It is quite frustrating regarding what should be a simple question.
Can anyone help me with a quick "how to share a calendar with another device or account"?  Thanks in advance

Days with appointments will be marked with a dot in month view. Tapping the icon that looks like a box with three lines underit will show you events for the selected day in month view.
Also, I don't want to have to select mail messages individually for deletion. How can I do this more quickly (besides tapping faster)?
    You can't.
