Best bet would be to use a third party cloud service such as DropBox or Box. Apps for them should be available for both platforms (they definitely are for iOS).

You can format the HDD to a common one like ExFAT or Fat32 but a reformat will delete all data off of the HDD.
Your other option is to use a third party software such as Paragon or Tuxera that will allow you to write to a NFTS formatted HDD.

How can I make an IOS and ANDROID app using MUSE?

I don't know anything about coding but I believe you can create something in Muse and use phone gap to turn it into a iOS or Android app - the information on this is extremely scarce - i have just seen little notes like of course you can and so forth - thats hardly helpful - has anyone managed to create something and got their app published on the Apple/Google plaster? If someone has used something better than phone gap as a router from muse to the eventual app i would be curious in that too.

Yes, you can create an app with Muse. Keep in mind it would only be an informational app and contain no phone features such as camera, GEO Location, Data, etc.
So once agin you would be restricted to an information only type app. Another problem with using Muse to do an app is that Muse uses fixed width design and therefore will not scale depending on device. So if you want to be on phones and tablets you would need to create two versions.
Using Phonegap Bulid you would you would extract your Muse site (phone version usually unless you change the size of your desktop version) as HTML files and then zip them up. Using Phonegap Build you would be able to create the required files for submission to the app stores (Apple App Store, Google Play, Amazon, Windows App Store). You will need to be on a Mac to be able to submit to the Apple App Store. It will work using Muse but a better solution is to use a build service such as one that I have used in the past called AppsZero - Build Apps With Zero Coding.
Google and Apple also require paid developer licenses. Apple is $99/year US and Google when I got mine was $25 one-time fee. Not sure if the Google one has changed but the Apple one is still $99/year.

Stopped syncing calendar updates after working fine for a couple of weeks. I have Windows 7 on PC and use Outlook. Icloud calendars show items but not on Ipad or phone. And vice versa.

Actually it was between the pc and syncing it with my android , I downloaded the HTC software to my PC and use a cable connection. But now it isn't working for the calendar to sync on any device.

If your email, contacts and calendars are hosted by Google (i.e. they're synced via a Gmail account as on most Android phones) just setup the same Gmail account on your iPhone and they will appear automatically.
Music, pictures and videos you'll need to move to your Mac or PC then sync to your iPhone via iTunes.
Apps cannot be transferred as Android apps do not work on iPhone, you'll need to download the iOS versions (or equivalents) from the AppStore.
For Twitter just download the iOS Twitter app from the AppStore and sign in to your existing Twitter account. You can also sign in to Twitter in Settings > Twitter to integrate it into the OS.

The simplest way to do this would be to enable File Sharing on both Macs.
On each Mac....
Open System Preferences (gear icon on the dock)
Open Sharing
Enter a check mark next to File Sharing
Now when you open the Finder or Macintosh HD, you will see the "other" Mac and you will be able to access files/folders, etc. on the other computer.
I thought about using Time Capsule for this...is this NOT wise?
The Time Capsule was designed to work with the Time Machine application to back up your Mac(s). As such, the TC will make a complete copy of each Mac on the first backup and backup any changes after that to keep a complete timeline of each Macs files. Each computer normally will only be able to access the backups for that given computer.
While it is possible to store normal files or folders on the Time Capsule disk, this is not generally recommended as there will eventually be a struggle between Time Machine and the files on the disk as the drive begins to fill up. The other thing to keep in mind is that access to the drive for "normal" files will be quite slow.

Can the WCC mobile app (iOS and Android) work with an SSO protected content server?

We have just configured Single Sign On with Oracle Access Manager for our WebCenter Content server (and also for the WCC ADF UI). Everything works fine, even the Desktop Integration, except that now we cannot connect anymore from the WCC mobile apps.
Is there a solution or is it really not possible to combine mobile access with SSO?

Sync not working between Window laptop with FF32 and android tablet with FF 32

Computer is Windows 7
Labtop is android
Both devices have FF 32
As far as I know, sync has been set up correctly on both devices. But they still aren't syncing. It looks as though I've missed a setting somewhere. I tried to follow instructions from an earlier version, but the menu was different and I couldn't find the counterparts for this version. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your question, I understand that there are two devices attached to your sync account that do not appear as they are syncing. Please try the following steps to kick start the sync:
# Make a copy of the profile folder for a back up of the current data.
# Remove the account from each of the devices, (on the desktop from the "3 bar" menu select "Options" and click on sync. Next to the email, remove account. On the mobile device, go to accounts and select Firefox, tap on the account name and select "Remove account")
# On the desktop, go to accounts.firefox.com and sign into the account. When you reach the notification "Sync will begin momentarily" close Firefox. Open Firefox and select the Tools menu and click "Sync Now"
# On the mobile device, re-add the account. Go to the same url accounts.firefox.com and sign into your sync account. Once it has been added, go to the sync menu with the list of check boxes are to select what to sync. Are there any notifications there? Sometimes there will be a warning asking to toggle Auto-sync. Once this is done from the Data menu of the Android device, the sync process will begin.
# Wait for a bit, then go to the Desktop to check for the "Mobile Bookmarks" folder in the Bookmark's manager.
Did it start to sync? If not it is possible to investigate any error in the sync logs. I can provide instructions on how to do this with your response.

You cannot. iOS devices do not support file transfer from another type of device via Bluetooth. You'll need to either email the files to yourself, use a cloud-based service such as Dropbox, or sync the files to your computer so you can then sync them to your iPad.

Should be easy. Try this...
In Thumbnails view, click the little triangle (pointing downward) in the lower-right corner of the asset you want to share.
In the blue icon bar that appears, click the Share icon (the third icon from the left, just right of the trash icon). The Share dialog should pop up.
In the Share dialog, enter the email address of the person with whom you want to share the asset, then click the Send Email button - they'll receive an email with a link to your asset. OR
You can also copy a link to the asset and then paste that into your own email client if you prefer. To do that, click the Link icon (looks like a "chain", and is to the right of the email "envelope" icon) - then click the Copy Link button.
Note that the Share options won't be available if your asset is set to "Private" - you can control whether an asset can be viewed (or downloaded) by others by clicking the Public/Private control (green or red "lock" icon).
You can also access the same Share controls if you click on the file to see it one-up (you can do this from either Thumbnails view or List view); click the Share icon near the upper right corner of the browser window (to the right of the asset name).

Does Adobe Reader for iOS and Android Support Encryption with PKI Solution?

I have been searching for an answer whether or not Adobe Reader for iOS and Android can read encrypted PDF files by public key infrastructure solution (encrypted by a public key, to be decrypted by its private key pair), but to date I have not found the answer. From the Adobe web site, I understand that Adobe Reader for Android supports to read encrypted document by AES256 but it does not mention about PKI. I had to guess that it does not support encryption with PKI but I would just like to get a formal answer, and would like to know whether Adobe Reader Mobile will support it.

Duplicate session error using Flash Remoting from Air 3.4 Mobile Apps ( IOS and Android ) with CF10

We're getting the "duplicate session" error using Flash Remoting from Air 3.4 Mobile Apps ( IOS and Android ) with Coldfusion 10 Standard.
faultCode:Server.Processing.DuplicateSessionDetected faultString:'Detected duplicate HTTP-based FlexSessions,
generally due to the remote host disabling session cookies.
Session cookies must be enabled to manage the client connection correctly.' faultDetail:'null'
Have read most of the docs about this error -all to do with LCDS
Notes:
Not using LCDS,
No Remote Calls from loaded Sub-Apps,
No Errors from the Flex Web App which is pretty much identical and calls the same cfcs.
The error does not happen all the time and is hard to reproduce - say 5% of app sessions at a guess.
Could it be a two first time remote calls hitting the server together before a session is set up?
Our remoteObjects are in two places 1) Main Application.mxml and within a class compiled into the main app - can't see how this would be an issue.
I enabled session management for the CFCs in Application.cfc but still occurs. Is this neccessary - it's not in any docs?
Could this be something to do with the app not being shut down - as is typical with mobile users? When they resume use after a day or two surely a new session will be created?
Please advise thank you.

For our profect I think this issue was caused as follows:
Believing that remoting was full asynchronous we fired a 2 or 3 remote calls to the server at the same time ( within the same function ) - usually when the users goes to a new section of the app.
This seemed to trigger the duplicate http session error since according to http://blogs.adobe.com/lin/2011/05/duplication-session-error.html two remote calls arriving before a session is created will cause 2 sessions to be created.
Our current solution ( too early to say it works ) is to daisy chain the multiple calls together .
Also there seemed to be an issue where mobile apps that never quit ( thanks Apple! ) caused the error when activated after a few hours.
I guess the session expires on the server and the error above occurs on activation.
So the mobile apps now ping the server with a remote call when activated after sleeping for more than one hour.
All duplicate http errors are silently caught and reported.
Fingers crossed we won't get any more!
