How to Shift a field in Customer Creation Window to Main Page

Dear All,
We have a requirement of entering Customer Class while creating Customer.(Version R 12.0.6)
In Vision Instance, when we open Create Customer form, Customer Class appears under Account Information Part of Form, where we can select Customer Class from List of Values.
In our Development Instance, when we open the same Create Customer form, Account Information Part of Form, doesn't have any such field. We have to navigate to Save and Add details and give the Info there.
Please guide me how to move the field to Main Creation window to ensure Entry and avoid wastage of time.

I have one requirement where one grouped column has to printed in the margin area and not in the main area.
ie. if i group by deptno,
deptno has to be printed behind where date is printed in the margin area
and for each deptno page changes
how this can be achieved ? any idea
because you cannot move deptno from its parent frame.

To have one dept per page, set the Maximun Records per Page property of the dept repeating frame to 1. To display dept in the margin, create summary column that would find Max (or First) deptno with Reset on Page.

How can I create a text pop up window in my Pages document? I want text to pop up when the reader hovers his/her cursor over a certain word in the document. I am teacher. So for example when a student came to word he/she did not know, if he/she hovered the cursor over the word, a defintion or other information would appear. You can do this in Word using bookmarks/hyperlinks but I can't figure this out in Pages. I can link it to another point in my Pages document but I just need the text to pop up - not take the reader to another location. THANK YOU!!!!!!

Have you tried Word for Mac?
You will need to test if links survive export or printing to .pdf

Could you suggest me how can I customize the new fields in BP creation screen.

Your best bet is to read the documentation at:

This gives you an overview of the Easy Enhancement workbench.
Your steps to use it will be the following setup the customizing in transaction EEWC. You can search this forum for help on how to setup this customizing.
Then create the new extension using transaction EEWB, and follow the steps in the help documentation above, also read note: 484597.
After you have read the doucmenation, and if you get stuck, then let me know and I will try to answer those questions. The EEWB is very simple, so I don't think you will have too many problems using it.

How to use Resever Field for Customer Master

My Client Requirement. Price should be determine with Sales ORG, Distribution channel, Division, Districts, Talukas and Villages.
But Talukas and villages are not available in SAP standard systems.
Is it possible to use reserver field in Customer Master for this purpose?
If it is ok then please give suggestion how to use this reserve fields.

Hello,
the system-behavior that you describe is standard behaviour, because
the fields which you are describe (village and ..) doesn't exist in structure KOMG.
For using this field in the field catalog you can proceed like this:
1. create a new field for example ZZvillage...
2. add the new field in the table T681F for the application 'V' and the
   usage 'A'
3. add the field to the include-structure KOMKAZ
4. fill the new fields in the userexit for pricing
   (Pricing_Prepare_TKOMK (TKOMP)

It is not suggested to alter a standard SAP report. Still if the requirement persists, then copy the standard program into a zprogram and add required fields.

I think of something like:
First, you create extension, with transaction WE30.
Then, reduce your idoc, your extension should also be proposed.
Do not forget to add this extension in outbound we82, and/or we57 in inbound, and WE20, and find BTE or exit to populate extension.

I have created a screen exit for CO02 with a field for item text in header level as input field , when value is given and save button is cliked it gets updated in database but the problem is same field shows as input field in CO03 ( display mode ) .

FIrst check the sy-dynnr, if it is same as your custom screen number
in PBO of your custom screen
if sy-dynnr = 'YOUR_NUMBER' and sy-tcode = 'CS03'.

modify screen

if it wont work they try using Tcode SHD0

How to programmatically initialize field in ADF Creation Form

I'm using JDEV 10.1.3.2, ADF BC. The task sounds simple:
1. Create an ADF Creation Form by pulling in a VO (backed by EO) from Data Control.
2. Initialize one of the required fields in a backing bean from processScope.
3. User sets other fields via GUI.
4. Save the new record in the database (Commit).
The problem is how to do step 2? The processScope variable is being retrieved properly, but I have not been able to set the required field so that the user does not have to enter this field. I have an action on the Save button as follows:

This is outside of the backing bean, but you may try it:
modify the getter on the entity impl class (if you are using ADF BC) to set a default value
This example is to set a default status id on the field.

How to set date field in custom form to default to {NOW} plus one year.

I am developing a subscription site. I have the custom form for inputing a users information. I have the subscribe date set up as a default field of {NOW} that works great.
Now I need the renewal field to default to exactly one year from the subscribe date.
Any help would definitely be appreciated.
