How to shorten my address?

Question

I publish my iweb to a folder, then host it on Godaddy.com. If I type in http://www.johnsenclan.com, it takes me to http://johnsenclan.com/Home/Home.html. Any reason why? Why doesn't it just go to johnsenclan.com, or even http://johnsenclan.com/home.html? Where does that extra home come from?

When you upload, you are uploading the entire contents of your publish folder. This includes an index.html file that redirects to the first page of your site.
In your site manager in iWeb, you will have called your site 'Home'. The first web page in iWeb under the site name 'Home' is called 'Home'. So the address of the first page of your site is: http://johnsenclan.com/Home/Home.html where the first 'Home' is the sitename, the second 'Home' is the first webpage.
When someone types http://www.johnsenclan.com they get to the index.html file as mentioned above (the address of which will be http://www.johnsenclan.com/index.html, which redirects them to http://johnsenclan.com/Home/Home.html
If you don't like the two 'Homes' call your site something else in iWeb, eg, '1' or 'Site' then your addresses would look like http://johnsenclan.com/1/Home.html or http://johnsenclan.com/Site/Home.html
If you don't like that either, you could just upload the contents of the 'Home' folder that lies within the publish folder instead. Then the address of the first webpage would be: http://johnsenclan.com/Home.html (there is already an index.html redirect file within the 'Home' folder if you look). However, I don't think blog feeds and such like would work correctly then.
Reading the above, I realise I may have confused you more here!
