How to show corporate dashboard in SAP Portal?

HI,
we have requirement to show BOBJ info view corporate dahsboard (three tabs) via SAP netveawer portal.
I know we can integrate crystal report into SAP portal but how to integrate whole corporate dashboard from info view?

I tried it with the following based on documentation I found:
http://<server>:8080/businessobjects/enterprise11/desktoplaunch/opendoc/openDocument.jsp?iDocID=2776 (<server> being our dev server and 2776 being the id I found for the dashboard from CMC)
however - I get an error:
description The requested resource (/businessobjects/enterprise11/desktoplaunch/opendoc/openDocument.jsp) is not available.
any idea?

If you search google with "javascript disable right click" you will get loads of javascript code. This will also help you to gain knowledge.
@Explanation to last post : You need to import standard logon par file in NWDS. Create javascript file to disable right click and then include this file in your logon page. i think login page name is portalLogin.jsp and then deploy this new PAR file.

How to Refer WebI Report in SAP Portal

Hi Experts,
I want to show one of the report created in Web Intelligence rich client in SAP portal. I have done the SSO part and imported the par files and changed the configuration in web.xml as per the documentation.
Now ! I have developed the report and it is available in my local machine in UserDocs folder. How can i refer this report in SAP portal now. What r the parameters i should provide ?
I have created the BO Iview in portal by selecting the BO Iview template, but couldn't understand what parameters to provide and how to refer my report which is there in my local machine.

Please check the below details which i configured.
First step : transporting "par" files and epa files into portal.
imported   "com.businessobjects.pct.sap_pik.epa" file in portal
         deployed "com.businessobjects.pct.masteriview.par" in portal
         deployed "BusinessObjectsKM.par" in portal
Second step Created System Object and its parameters:
Host name of Crystal Enterprise Server : almboxi31.ho.almarai.com:8080
        Path of Crystal Enterprise Server           : /SAP
        Protocal of Crystol Enterprise Server     : http
Third step creating Iview
Iview Template                 : Integration Kit for SAP Iview
        Viewer Application page : reportView.do
        BusinessObjects Enterprise Viewer : html_frame
        Application Parameters      : cms_name=almboxi31.ho.almarai.com:6400
       BusinessObjects Enterprise Report ID : 1665
       BusinessObjects Enterprise Report Type: id
Are these correct ?
Since my sap domain and BO domain are different , i made session management alert to off.

How to allow user to change SAP Portal password by themselves

We would like to allow user to change SAP Portal password by themselves. However, I added role Manage_My_Password and Manage_My_Profile to a user account. After logoned with this user account and opened the option 'Personalize'. I only find the page allow me to customize the page layout. But I haven't find tab for changing profile and password.
Pls advise.

You can hide the pages from portal personalization workset. copy the workset and select the page and click on property -> select Invisible in Navigation Areas ->yes
You can find the workset under
Portal content->End user content->Standard Portal Users>Workset->Portal Personalization

How can i show a WAD report (WAD template) in Portal. what are the steps need to followed.
Like for Bex Application Iview we create it by using a Query String(combination of infocube name and Query name), like wise what should be done from Portal end to get a WAD template in to portal as Iview.

Regarding your issue your template is not active.
In the first place you need to check if the template is activated in the backend BW system.
After activated and launch it from the backend system. Once the BW template is
active, kindly launch the template from the backend system, please try
to launch the template in browser version as we can determine the URL
being launched. If you're able to succesfully launch the template from
the backend and still you're encountering an error while testing it from
the iview. Then it should be a problem with the system object configured
for the iview. There is a need to check if the system alias SAP_BW is
properly configured to the destination BI content system.
Please refer the note:
1048857 - Activating the default Web templates
In RS_TEMPLATE_MAINTAIN_70 you can choose the version of the
template to be displayed ("A" per default).
Please compare and attach the A- and D-version of 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN.
If the activation from business content was successful, the versions
are equal. I assume, that they are not equal.
If they are different it means that the activation was not successful.
Another indicator would be, that the activation only takes one or two
seconds. Normally it takes several seconds (up to a few minutes).
As mentioned in note 1048857 it might happen that the checkboxes, to
mark the objects for activation, are not checked and therefore nothing
is activated. For this case note 1070452 is mentioned, which is
available in english since today: If the checkboxes are not checked
and you are unable to do that manually, please use the context menu
on the object on top to select all objects below. The activate the
objects again ( > how long does it take, A- and D- version are the
same afterwards ?)
It should resolved your issue.

How to show ABAP ALV report in Portal iview?

I have a ABAP report developed in ALV grid. Now I want to show it in EP iview. How can I do that? What type iview I shall use? And any step by step procedure/doc will be really appreciated.
Alternatively is it possible to create a HTML tabular report similar to that of ALV grid and show it in EP.
How complex will it be?

To add to padmakar's remark. You can use a transaction iview but it has limitations.
First of all: You can use a transaction iview with or without Gui. If the user has a sap gui then 1) you make a transaction for your ALV 2) create a transaction iview defining the alv transaction + with gui output
If the user has no gui. Then it will only work if your ALV is made web enabled ( so not on 4.6c ).
Other alternatives are to create a BSP + bsp iview instead of a list. Or use Webdynpro.

How to show the Dashboard Filter Promts in a BI Publisher report?

Hi,
I have a problem when trying to pass Dashboard Prompt Filters from OBI Analysis to a Publisher Report?
Im working in OBIEE 11g. Where I simply can integrate the BI publisher to show the same result set as shown in the Analysis (Answers) Report.
I have also created dummy tables in my Analysis Report that shows the presentation variables from the prompts and I have also one dummy table that shows a session variable with a String when the DW was updated.
I use these dummy tables to be able to pass the promt values to BI Publisher.
The problem I have is that...
I can see that the Strings I have Prompted in my Analysis Report, but only the default values are shown in my BIP report.
-It works fine with my session variable that I display as a string in a dummy table as well as in the BIP report.
-Is there any other way to show the prompted Filters as information in a BI Publisher report??????

Is there a reason why you don't use the presentation variables directly to filter the BI publisher report?
If you use the presentation variables, then ensure that the presentation variables associated with the prompt exactly matches the BIP report parameter name. In this case, you can create another datamodel with a sql that selects the parameters. for example: select :param1, :param2 from dual. In that case, the xml will include the parameter values and you should be just able to insert the param fields in the template.

How to print Crystal Report within SAP Portal iView?

Hi All,
We are using BOEJ XI 3.0 with integration with SAP NetWeaver Portal. We are having a problem with printing a Crystal Report.
- We use the SAP iView to run a Crystal Report.
- Once the report is completed, we want to click on Print to send the report to a printer e.g. default printer.
- Then a screen pops up and nothing gets printed.
It seems the print control is not being transferred.
Has anyone had this problem and what the resolution is?

Thank you for your response. I have just got off the phone with SAP. I was given two options.
- Install ActiveX control on user's PC
- Or set the user preference to use PDF in InfoView.
Both options seem to work. Now it is the question of security on using ActiveX. If this is the concern, then one can use the PDF option.

This are the step to create your addon. :
1- On the menu bar access projects then properties and on Debug you will find the Command line add the following:

3- Add a module call SubMain to your project
4- Go to project properties then to the application and then uncheck Enable Application framework. And select SubMain on the starud object.

I am trying to show a crystal report in SAP Portal. I did a crystal enterprise report iview, and in SAP portal I got this error when I trying to show it:
404 Missing Page
The page you requested is not available on this web server for one of the following reasons:
The address you typed may be inaccurate. For example, a character was missing. To correct this issue, double-check the address and make sure that it is spelled correctly.
If you clicked on a link or button, the web application that generates this link may be experiencing a temporary problem. Close and restart your browser and try the link again at a later time.
Then I test ce_url service, and got this error:
Service cannot be reached
What has happened?
URL http://portalsap:8002/sap/bw/sap-client=100_cmsname=ipmachinebo call was terminated because the corresponding service is not available.
Note
The termination occurred in system BTP with error code 404 and for the reason Not found.
The selected virtual host was 0 .
What can I do?
Please select a valid URL.
If you do not yet have a user ID, contact your system administrator.

I changed the 2 items, but I got this error when I executed the report in portal
HTTP Status 400 - Invalid path /viewreport was requested
type Status report
message Invalid path /viewreport was requested

And when I tested the ce_url service I got this error:

What has happened?
