How to show list view of pages?

I want to show list of subsits on navigation. when clicking a subsite on navigation to show corresponding pages in list view. on clicking a page in list view to open page. please share your view how it can be done.

According to your description, my understanding is that you want to show subsites on the navigation, and when the mouse hovers, the corresponding pages are shown in list view, click these pages, it will be opened. Is it right?
To achieve it, you can use managed navigation. Go to Site Settings->Term store management, you can create a term set, create terms based on the names of the subistes, for each term, click Navigation, and under Navigation Node Type, select the URL of the
subsite for “Simple Link or Header”. Then in each corresonding subsite term, create some sub-terms related to pages, and for each sub-term, click Navigation and under Navigation Node Type, select the URLs of the corresponding page for “Simple Link or Header”.
After the above, go to Site Settings->Navigation, on the Global Navigation section, select “Managed Navagation:…”. On the Managed Navigation :Term Set section, select the term that you created.

Your right, there is only one tab to view the report.
To open the subreports you will need to click on them in the main report. I don't know of a way to open them programmatically like you are doing here

How can I set the OS to show list view when I open a file in an application.

So I know you can chose view options in Finder to always show files in list view there. But how do you set the OS to do the same when opening files in an application.

Okay, cheers, so I guess it's stored in the application prefs. I just installed Snow L last week and it bothered me that everytime I opened a document I had to set my pref again. I wasn't aware that it was storing it for that particular app though cause I'm using so many differnt apps. But you are right, it does store for the individual app. Cheers for the answer!

As per my understanding, You want to just redesign your list form. You can achieve the same using SPD2010 or you can use jQuery also if you don't have rights for SPD customization.

How do I show List view in Calendar?

I just switched to iOS7. I guess it will take some getting used to, but I don't like it so far. In the Calendar app, I always used the "List" view, but some clever person seems to have removed it. I want it back!

How to show a photo in the table or the detail in the pages generated for the Composer Appearance? Example: The user makes a search, receives as resulted a book list, he would like to show in this list an icon with the cover of each book and when clicar in the icon to open the detail of the book showing an image of the cover. - Use a "Form view", create a button there.
- Double-click on it and create on the tabstrip "Action" a custom action "NEWIMAGE"
- Apply to "[self]".
- Connect the output-port of the Form view with the input-port of the HTML view
- Click on the line between the ports
- double-click on the field "url*"
- enter now a formula in the formula-editor that allows you to e.g. get the url from a data-field
(you can test it with just inserting a url in the formula like 'http://www.sap.com' - don't forget the quotes- and that is different from the default url)

I'm developing intranet metro style app as SharePoint 2013 auto hosted . i need to get promoted list to display in my app page as it is display in SharePoint host site. i have seen some blog post but no clue of detail way of doing it (http://www.greggalipeau.com/2013/12/25/adding-list-views-to-sharepoint-2013-apps)

Movies/Videos/TV Shows list view gone in iOS 7?

The iOS 7 Videos app displays TV Shows and Movies with icons. How can I change it to a list view so I can see the name of the movie/show?

I might try VLC Player, see if that has a list view.
Otherwise will have to edit all video files to change the thumbnail to one with the name of the TV Show/Movie/etc.

How to print list view of Finder window

I want to print a list of the contents of a disk or a folder, just as I see it in the Finder's list view. How is this done in Tiger? In some older versions of the OS there was a menu command for this operation, something called Print Directory, I think.

There may be more user-friendly ways of doing this, but here's one way:
Open Terminal (in the Utilities folder).
Use "cd" to change directory to the folder you want to print
eg cd /Users/myuser/Documents
Use "ls" to list the contents to a file
ls -al > filelist.txt
You can then open the filelist.txt file from Finder in TextEdit and print it.

How have a list view of last published documents when you are a contributor ?

thanks for your help.
here is the problem :
- A library is set with versionning (draft and published) documents.
- the library contain this documents
- DOC A : version 1.3 : version 1.0 is published
- DOC B : version 2.4 : version 2.0 was unpublished
- Adam is a contributor of this library. He can create, edit, delete, publish, unpublish a document. His list view display DOC A v1.3 and DOC B version 2.4.
- John is a reader of this library. He can only read the published documents. His list view display DOC A v1.0 only.
To manage this library, Adam want to have the same view of this library as John. He want to view only the published documents.
How can I give a published document view to Adam ?
My first reflexe was to do a view filtering the versions containing ".0". The problem is that DOC A not appear, because the visibility version of this document is 1.3 for Adam (and 1.0 for John)
How can I give him a published document view? perhaps with programmation, SharePoint Designer,...

Give Adam a test account with the same permissions as John. It's the only way to be sure.

How can I get my spreadsheets as a list view in the left top corner of numbers?

Hi,
Keyboard command doesn't work on my IMac Latej 2013, Yosemite 10.10.1 and Numbers 3.5.2.
But even if! it wouldn't be a solution.
And I can't believe it that apple still didn't implement the option to switch between List View for spreadsheets and the actual 'sidebar'-view.
I am using numbers for controlling and calculation purposes and need like 15-20 spreadsheets for each project.
I can't understand that I spent so much money for such a powerful I-Mac and I am not allowed to switch a view mode in 2015!
I am waiting now for more than 2 years and still missing that feature.
Is it that difficult to implement that small thing? Do I really need to switch to open-office o to accept that every time I going to make my
controlling it will be horrible and I'll need to spend a lot of more time because of missing ordered view! ... because there is no list view? aaarggggh!!!!
Please.... implement that list view!!!!

BTW. Numbers 2.3 did have list view. But files are not compatible with iPad, ....

In iTunes can TV Show List view be collapsed?

I have over a 1000 tv shows in iTunes and in List view each and every show for each and every season is shown for each TV Show. Does anyone know if that List view can just show the season or just the show?

• Then press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously and don't release them when it brings up the Turn Off screen; keep holding them until the Apple logo appears.

Audiobook artwork single track not showing list view

Looking at audiobooks in list view with the artwork on the left side I notice that if audiobooks have multiple tracks the artwork appears; but if the audiobook is in a single track, the artwork (although present in the file and in the usual place) doesn't appear in list view.
Hope I've explained it; here's an example where the art for In Cold Blood Appears, but the art for Reamde does not:

I have several other examples and scratching my head. Any ideas?
(I'm using the latest Yosemite and the latest iTunes as of 3.26.2015).

Now that Google Apps is available i upgraded to iOS6 - & let's not mention Google copying my phone book to their servers at this point....
Anyway, HOMESHARE AUDIOBOOK ARTWORK IS NOW SHOWING on iPhone and iPads. (I am also pleased audiobooks are separated from ebooks on the iTunes upgrade.) -- Hooray!! Lonnnnng time coming...
BUT There are some remaining audiobook-homeshare problems:
- the iPad music app regularly crashes when browsing my audiobooks, as it seems it cannot handle large libraries, despite i am now running 2 separate libraries (audiobook and music);
- similar to above, artwork doesn't always load for every audiobook 'album';
- homeshare loses connection regularly, especially whilst listening to an audiobook (with no device interference!) and strong wifi - Im convinced it is timing out;
- audiobook management REMAINS GREATLY UNDER-DEVELOPED eg: 1) track and chapter/disc ordering, 2) sorting of audiobooks in the way I want them sorted ie options, 3) searching of audiobooks reverts to music search... Grrrr!
Also, WHY CAN I NOT GET ALBUM VIEW ON MUSIC APP PLAYLISTS?? Audiobooks are multiple tracks per 'album' so playlist view is totally un-usable for audiobooks! Why does it not just mimic iTunes functionality in this regard??
I wish someone from apple would chat with me on this, as I use audiobooks daily and could improve the music app so much....

Coverflow works by clicking the Coverflow view and then selecting the file. I've checked with Pages and Keynote both work perfectly. Perhaps you would post more info.

Filter a list-views on page by Date and Time column, not only by Date (Connected Webpart)

I have a task - create a page and display on it all lists/libraies with documents of team meetings. Every meeting has a documents and another information, which is storing in the same lists/libraries on website as another meetings. Additionally there
is a field "MeetingDate" (type: DateTime), which help to indetify a meeting documents.
I have added all on one page and my custom connected webpart (IWebpartRow interface), which help to filter all views on page by field meeting date. It send a date to another webparts on page, and user see information only for this date.
It works fine, but the problem is, that it used only DATE (without time) and i need now to filter all by date and time.
Unfortunately, i noticed that i cannot filter items by date with time in the standard list too. Please see my screenshot.
My question is: may be i should use another interface (not IWebPartRow) that to send 2 values (1 - date, 2 - time) and filter all by 2 columns. Is it possible?

Per my understanding, you might want to display all the specific documents in a page, they can be filtered by values of a Date and time column.
A possible solution I will provide is that, we can create custom visual web part to display all these documents. In the code behind, run a query with CAML to retrieved all the
documents with the specific date and time, then generate a view of hyperlinks that points to these documents.
In this way, we can combine the filter component with the data display component into one web part, with the help of CAML query and Object Model, it would not be a tough job to
implement such a solution.
