How to show one prompt that works for both Graph and Table views?

Have an analysis with a graph and a table. The information in the table and graph are different so cannot use a pivot table w/graph.
Each view has a view prompt for Year and Month (tried both separately and also as one combined column ‘201001’) so user can easily change months.
Too much data to use the slider because it will not graph.
Page prompt does not allow user to switch dates easily.
Since this will be a link from a dashboard, do not think making this a dashboard from a dashboard would be good so not a dashboard prompt.
Saw something about Master Detail linking, but does not appear to work with graph prompts.
How would the analysis be configured to show one prompt that works for both the Table and the Graph?
One prompt would change both the table and the graph.

Master Detail Linking almost works.
Table view can show all the results without error.
Graph view needs to be limited or errs with "Exceeded configured maximum number of allowed input records."
Is there a way to set the initial Master Detail Linking value to the top sorted value?

When a deadlock is to due to a _unindexed FK_, the corresponding deadlock graph should at _least show one TM_ (DML enqueue). This is not the case here. So, unindexed FK are not the case here

I have partitioned my time capsule, as I want part of it to act as a media server for both mac and windows. However I don't know what format that I need to partition it to. I also can't make it a permanently accesible drive. I want to restore the drive to the original format (which I don't know) and start again and re-partition the drive in a format that can be used for media by both mac and PC and for time machine back-ups and make the media part of it permanetly accesible so I can add and acccess my files.

You are mixing up a couple of things here.
The TC drive cannot be partitioned without removing it.. did you do that?
If you partition it you must use a Mac disk utility and use the HFS+ ie standard Mac format. And GUID partition table not windows type.
You can select erase disk in the airport utility.. that will take the disk back to original format. No partitions. TC is deliberately not partitioned as it is not a media server.. it is a backup device for TM. Over time .. the disk will be filled with TM backups so you have a long history of file changes to your computer.
There is no media server in the TC.. it is merely disk storage.. you can serve files from it to a media device.. but the TC itself is dumb as dumb.
Now the actual format of the drive is irrelevant to the PC.. The TC offers SMB file services to the network. You can copy files to and from the TC as if it was a local disk without caring one iota about the format. The TC handles that .. it is not a local disk .. it is a network drive.
Although you cannot partition the TC. you can still copy files to it.. this does have implications for TM.. but as long as there is plenty of free space should not be a major issue.
You can create a disk image via the disk utility in a Mac.. and as stated you can create partitions if you do it on a Mac with the disk directly connected which means breaking warranty if any exists on the TC.

Navigation that works for a8-5500 and how to fix GPS signal

Found out that these navigation systems works fine with at 5500-f tablet:
Navigon.
Route 66.
Sygic.
iGO Primo.

However, the A8 5500f and other tablets from lenovo seems to have a problem with the GPS fix. It takes forever to acuire a decent signal. There is a soloution to this problem:
A) Have WI-FI ON, if possible.
B) Launch the navigation, eg Route 66.
C) After some seconds, turn off WI-FI.
D): Ready!
This procedure will allow the navigation to download the assisted GFS. But it seems like the WI-FI, when ON, is making it difficult to reciewe a clear gps signal. If no WI-FI, it will take a minute or so to reciewe a clear GPS signal without A-GPS.
There is also a third solution. Download a app that is keeping GPS alive all the time. Like ActiveGPS - GPS booster or so. This will allow you to keep WI-FI ON all the time. How much batteri that will eat up, i dont know.

When you stram from a bin file repeatedly, it will run first time but will lose lock because when it comes tothe beginning of the file, its time suddenly jumps and the receiver does not accept this. For example, lets say your bin file is from GPS time t1=0 to GPS time t2=30000s. When you loop back around the file, the time increases from 0 to 30000 and then jumps back to 0 and that is not acceptable by receiver. You will need a direct streaming from 5671.

How to show one album art image for a compilation album in cover flow view?

I just finished getting album art for my entire music collection. Now I go to the Cover Flow view or the Album view and individual songs in compilation albums each have their own album art instead of being grouped together under the same album art. For instance I have a "Buddha Bar" Album with various artists. Instead of having one image for the album, each artist has his or her own image (all the same Buddha Bar album art). So a compilation CD with various artists ends up having 15 images instead of one image in the Album art or Cover Flow view which makes it harder to look through my albums. Does anybody know if it is possible to change this?

iTunes doesn't have the ability to do what you want, i.e. to define multiple separated values in a field and then have the item show up when looking at a selection based on each of those values. "Bob Dylan", "The Band" and "Bob Dylan & The Band" are three distinct values that can't be linked together. Sort values can change where in a list things are displayed but shouldn't be used to attempt to merge different values as results are undefined and unpredictable.

Because you creating cost collector for material combination of material /production version,material /Bom Routing.
so please create individual cost collector for every material.

Airport Express that works for I while and then quits

I have an airport express that I connect with an Ethernet wire to my wifi network base station to be able to extend the wifi to other areas of the house. It used to work perfectly and I had the green light on it for days and days on, in fact it never quit it could be on for weeks.
Now it works for a while, an hour or so, and then the light goes out completely (no orange light, just no light) and there is no longer any wifi communication. Is the Airport broken or could it have something to do with the originating wifi provider base station which is in fact hardwired to the the Express?

Unfortunately, this is a sign that you are likely going to need to replace this Express.
Here is what I think is happening based on experience with these devices:
The internal components on the Express heat up significantly and after an hour or so, the heat build up is causing a weak electronic component to change in value, or heat expansion is causing a loss of an electrical connection at a tiny solder joint.
When the device cools down, it will work again for awhile, but the same pattern will likely repeat. Internal repairs on the Express are not really feasible since the labor costs will likely exceed the cost of a new Express.
If you are really handy with small electronic repairs and you have the time, you could carefully saw the case open along the center seam to open up the Express and take a look at connections and solder points. It 's unlikely that you will find something obvious, but might be worth a shot.

How to Build a Flex App that works with both SQLite and MySQL?

Let me explain a bit: I am developing an app that will
be published as an AIR application using SQLite, as well as a FLEX application that will use MyDSQL via web services.
I want to develop both applications in such a way that all the components can be reused, and I only have to do minimal redevelopment. I have started witht the AIR application. Once I have it completed, I want to publish the application (with minimal redevelopment) as a FLEX web app.
My thinking is that I contain the database accesses in the Application, and passing the data via interfaces to the respective modules, as well as receiving data from the modules back to the Application to be written to the database. This was the only changes between the FLEX and the AIR application will be how the database access is handled in the Application file, and I can leave all modules as is and will be able to maximize reusability,
I haven't done this before, and was wondering what the best approach for this is?

It seems very difficult to find best practices on how to structure your database layer in FLEX. None of the books I have go into detail about it, nor do any of the websites I have found so far, including the Adobe Flex tutorials. Sure, they explain how to interact with databases, but don't seem to care about best practices for structuring your application.
Can anyone point me in the right direction for this?

Anyone have a slideshow that works in both IE8 and Firefox?

I have tried the widgets offered by Adobe. They don't work in IE8 and I have tried all the fixes from the Adobe Labs.
Doctype....If I change the doctype as recommended, then I get a white outlined box in the middle of the photos which I can't remove. If I change the doctype, then the slideshow won't work in Firefox.
Meta...If I add the meta line as suggested, no change at all.
Outline remove....I saw this on the forums, but could not find the line in any of the CSS code.
Other slideshows...I have tried downloading Easy Rotator and can't register and when I go to their website - can't put in a support ticket. Obviously they have problems running their business so I would like to find something and someone simple if possible that works!
Any one have any recommendations? I just need a very simple straightforward slideshow - nothing fancy - for my online catalog.

How can I make a folder structure for both PSE and Premiere Elements?

I have recently bought bundled PSE 10 and Prem Elements 10 ... (but have been using PSE6 for years)
I have lots of jpeg photos on an external drive in folders with a heirarchical structure eg. Pictures ... Friends ... 2011 ... 2011_12_02_Margate_seagulls.jpg I also have loads of photos that are simply there waiting to be sorted and are in their native format e.g PIC_6120.jpg Additionally I have .MOV files dumped from my JVC standard def camera some of which are custom named, others are left as is. I now own a hi-def lumix which takes great jpgs and also video MTS files. After lots of searching on the net for the best way to get all this organised I am at a standstill. I feel that I need an external folder system (ie one that does not rely 100% on adobe and its categotries and tags) because I have had catastropic losses when using earlier photoshop progs. I also see the benefit of using tags. So...
Is there a simple (and best) way to order my photos and hi-def video while taking into account content I already have shot/videod? I am happy to hear reasons and see examples why I should trust PSE/Prem E - but I would also like to see if it makes sense to use folders. Ideally i would love a practical folder structuring method that incorporates both video and still content. I have posted here because it is important I organise my video better and have a flexible system that allows for drafts and reworking my Hi-def content.

In generic terms there are three methods of filing just about anything:
Structured by event
Structured by type
Unstructured
Event might be occasion or date or a specific project. For this type of structure you would store all your assets related to that event, regardless of whether it is still, image or audio, in one place.
Type would typically be by the type of asset. All your videos in one place, stills in another, audio in another etc... In business for example in the eighties (when personal computing became prevalent in the workplace) staff would religiously have all their word processor documents in one place, spreadsheets in another, powerpoints in yet another etc.... Dreadfully inefficient.
Unstructured would be a case of storing things wherever you liked and accessing them via tags or albums - but you've said you want to avoid this.
Personally I let the application store things according to the defaults for the different import types but then tag them. Essentially I follow the 'unstructured' style. For anything major I create a project directory and move all the project assets into it (i.e. selective structure by event).
If you search the Tips & Tricks forum I think Bill Hunt (who does this stuff for a living) describes his structured folder flow in great detail.

Megacom not working for both LD and Int'l

I got the same issue described here https://supportforums.cisco.com/message/311063#311063 but only differences are my setup is using CCM 4.2 and Cisco 3845's.
To make a LD call to work, I got to set the "Called party IE number type" under the GW config to National; and
To make an Int'l call to work, I got to set this value to International.
If I leave everything default, i.e. Cisco CallManager, only LD works.
Basically, I couldn't make both LD and Int'l to work. It's either one way or the other.
Any workaround to make both to work would be greatly appreciated.

WRT54G wont work for both internet and xbox 360

I bought the Linksys WRT54G so I can play my Xbox 360 and be on the Internet at the same time. I am not using it wireless meaning that i do have ethernet cords plugged in for both my internet and my 360. When i play my 360 it kicks me off the internet and vice versa. Any help?

Please click on the tab "Application and gaming" and click on sub
tab "Port range forwarding"
1) On the first line in Application box type in "Xbox", in start box
type in 88, in end box type in 88, in protocol keep it both, in ip
address type in 192.168.1.20 and give a check mark on enable box.
2)   On the second line in Application box type in "Xbox", in start box
type in 3074, in end box type in 3074, in protocol keep it both, in ip

3) Now save the settings

and disable the UPNP and save the settings.

MX 920 Printer Not Responding - One Solution That Worked For Me

I phoned Canon customer support and they walked me through fixing my problem. We use wireless LAN at the house.
Background:
I have a mac, my wife an iPad. We would be able to print a document, then after aprx 10 minutes I'd have to enter our router password again. Our home office was not so printer friendly. Our printer was located in an adjacent room aprx 25ft away.
Solution to OUR Problem:
Well, I finally phoned Canon Customer service and she ran me through a function test that printed out a report to check the signal strength from our router to the printer. Well, our signal strength was at 84%.
Here is the process they walked me through in order to see my signal strength and confirm my settings.
Click "Menu" , then click "Set Up" (the tool icon), then click "Device Settings", then click "LAN Settings", then click "Confirm LAN settings", then click "Print LAN settings"...then click "Yes" to Print Network Configuration Page
On that page verify:
1. that you have a IPv6 IP Address & Default Gateway (dont ask me how or what that all means...she just advised me that I should make sure that there is one in there...if there was not one in there then there was something wrong with my router or my actual connection/password)..
2. Signal Strength
She advised that it should be as close to 100% as possible.. Again, ours was at 84% and she said, "yup, thats your problem"..
Solution Day 5
The printer has been working flawlessly. I can print something out in the morning, go to the gym, come back an couple of hours later and I can print again...Before, I would have to re enter our router LAN password.

I reformated my USB disk to "Mac OS Extended" format.
Do not use "Mac OS Extende Journaled"
Now I have at least 1 MB/s transfer rate. Before I had just a couple of KB/s
