How to show process of horizontal, vertical frag in real example?

I have take some application assuming the necessary predicates required and show the process of horizontal, vertical fragmentation, derived horizontal fragmentation including clustering process in vertical fragmentation.
Dont know how to do plz some one help...

Please provide your definitions of +"horizontal fragmentation"+ and +"vertical fragmentation"+.

How to set default for "Horizontal / Vertical Alignment"?

Hi,
is there somewhere a setting to change the default of the "Horizontal / Vertical Alignment" property for an item label? I don't like the "Right" alignment and I have to change it each time when I create a new item.

Yes, this is one of (many) cases where a Bulk edit feature in the Builder would be very useful. There have been some discussions about this and hopefully the APEX team is considering these for the next release.
Having said that, I frequently find myself taking a full app export and editing the SQL file in my favorite text editor (Vim) and making these little changes.
This is NOT to be done lightly, see the caveats and disclaimers at Re: htmldb application Disabled(on updation of FLOWS_020000.WWV_FLOW_STEP_I
As always, take a backup of the file before modifying it and save it so you can revert back to it if something goes wrong.

How to show processing screen while the submitted request is in progress?

Hi SIM Experts,
I have couple of requirements in SIM7.1.1.9, i.e.
1. Whenever i submit a request, i need to show a *'Processing Screen'* (i.e. form indicating that my request is in progress) when my request is in progress.
2. Once my request is completed, i need to switch back from *'Processing Screen'* to form from where request has been submitted.
For Example:
1. When i click on *'Search'* with some search criteria in say *'Search Users Form'*, system will take some time to fetch the search results. During this processing time, i need to show a *'Processing Screen'* to the end user.
2. Once *'Search Users Form'* is ready with its search results, i need to switch back from *'Processing Screen'* to *'Search Users Form'*.
I feel challenge is keeping track on the submitted request and switching back to the requested page.
FYI, i was trying to implement this using SIM7.1.1.9 Workflows & Forms and couldn't able to get a solution.
Any help makes my tasks to move ahead. Thanks in advance.

What I did so far is..
I defined a js function and copied to /includes folder and updated commonScripts.jsp to include the js function which I added.The following is the js function I am using (I googled it and got this function)

This operation is known as pivoting. The common way to pivot data (transpose rows to columns) in T-SQL is:
- Grouping (GROUP BY)
- Spreading values (CASE expression)
- Aggregating (MIN / MAX / COUNT / etc.)
Since you have different versions, depending on the value of TechName, then it will be easier if we enumerate each version per value of TechName (row_number in this case).

If you are going to have more than 5 versions for specific TechName and you do not want to put a quota, then you will have to reach to dynamic sql. Search in this forum by "dynamic pivot" and you will find plenty of examples.

How to show Processing bar through xMII or Javascript?

I created one executeCommand it will get the data from R/3 and insert into SQL db. It will take 3min time to execute completely. Mean while i want to show on process bar. This iCommand applet will execute after click event of the button in the webpage.

How to show the volume in a Meter?

Hello,
I m newbie in programming in java sound,
And i would like to know how to show the volume from a recording in real time in a meter? I allready have the meter but now i don´t know how to pass the volume and show in the meter.

How to clear grey loading screen and animated gif (Dynamic Action with "Show Processing" on submit)

I have a classic report on page 1. I have a region button called "Export" (defined by a submit dynamic action with "show processing=Yes") that submits the page and then via a branch directs me to page 2 which has a slightly different version of the report on page 1 (i.e. no breaks) which I want to capture as a CSV export. Therefore I've set the report template on page 2 to " Export:CSV".
Now when I click on the page 1 export button the grey screen and loading gif appears indicating that the report is executing and then as expected, page 2 doesn't appear but instead the standard open/save window's dialog box appears asking to open or save the generated CSV file. All good..but the grey loading screen remains. How do I clear this loading screen and get back to the context of page 1 ?

Hi PPlatt,
We would love to help but you left out one crucial part of the puzzle: namely how does your CSV report get exported. With the way it is setup (a redirect to another page), I'm going to assume you do that because you have some PL/SQL on that page that prints the CSV.
Now there are two questions that are crucial here:
- How do we stop the icon from bugging us on the screen
- How do we communicate with the browser that it should no longer display the loading icon
The first question is rather easy, two simply lines of codes can do that:

But when do we use this code? Quite simple when the document is downloaded. When is it downloaded? At the end of the PL/SQL code that prints the document to the browser.
What you could do is at the end of that code give an application item a certain value. For example :AI_PRINTED := 'Y';
Then all you need to do is let the browser ask for the value. You could do this by using JavaScript to continuously fire AJAX to the server using a JS timing event:

Better would be a Server send event, but since you left out another crucial piece of information: your browser, I will not go deeper into this.
Start this timing event when someone asks for the document, and end it as soon as the process returns that :AI_PRINTED equals 'Y'.
Despite the lack of information, I hope I have given, or at least inspired you to get to the solution.

Just what are the pixel dimensions of these photos that are automatically rotating on you in Premiere Elements 11 workspace after being transferred there from the Elements Organizer Slideshow Editor? Do I have that correct? If so, how are you making the transfer....Edit with Premiere Elements Editor, Burn to Disc, or other as Elements Organizer 11 Slideshow Editor output?
What is the scenario...from the camera to the computer hard drive, landscape; from the computer hard drive to the Elements Organizer 11 Slideshow Editor, landscape; from the Elements Organizer 11 Slideshow Editor to Premiere Elements 11 Project Assets/Timeline, rotated to Portrait?
Do you find that the frequency of the problem is related to pixel dimensions, number of photos used? What is the format of these photos, jpg or other?
Are you using the Rotation option in the Applied Effects Tab/Applied Effects Palette/Motion Panel expanded to correct the photo rotation?
Just some thoughts for now.

How to show result from process in popup page?

 We want to use one popup page for many information in application. So we want to make the following thing.
 We want to execute process and show result in popup page (through hidden parameter-"P2_MESSAGE").
 We also assign title of region on that popup page through "P2_TITLE".
 What I do not know is how to show popup after process-branch problem.
 Process is executed from one button. Button is located on page "28" and popup page is "2"
 Code for javascript should be like:

I have found in one thread:
 
 1) create an application item APP_ONLOAD (of course you can choose your own name)

 3) place &APP_ONLOAD. (dot also) in the on load property of the page.
 4) fill the APP_ONLOAD using :APP_ONLOAD := 'onload="your own javascript to call a popup window;"' in the plsql of an after On Submit - After Computations and Validations process (type PL/SQL anonymous block)
Fill the when button pressed property of the process with the button you want to use to show the popup.
 5) create a branch to branch to the current page (or a other if you wish)
 
Looks OK but when I create in PL/SQL js with "&" signe, which I use for filling some hidden values in popup page I get error.

The code above shows vertical gridline only at 00:00 o'clock.
The tick label displays every half hour (format HH24:MI) --> continuousTimeAxisInterval="CTAI_HOUR" seems to have no effect.
Then I changed timeAxisType from "TAT_DEFAULT" to "TAT_DEFAULT_STRICT".
Juhu, now vertical gridlines are displayed every half hour, but orientation of tick label changed from vertical to horicontal (format DD.MM.YYYY)!
--> Why????
Then I added following code:

 tickLabelSkipMode="TLS_MANUAL"
 tickLabelSkipCount="12"/>This changes the orientation of x-axis tick labels to horicontal AND tickLabelSkipCount has the correct effect ! (which is wrong when using timeAxisType=TAT_DEFAULT_STRICT)
Problem now is that format of tick labels is DD.MM.YYYY and not HH24:MI.
I tried following but with no success:

Opening Balances of Excise duty payable accounts as on 31.3.2009 are coming in to picture in T- Code FAGLB03 is showing a credit balance Which actually should show zero balances. In same way cenvat Credit balances both in RG23 A part II and RG 23 C part II are also not matching.
for FAGLB03 ,some entry is passed with sa document type with FB50.
And explain me how the excise process happen in SAP.

You may have orientation lock turned on. If you open Control Center by sliding up with one finger starting below the bottom of the home screen, you should see an icon that looks like a lock with a partial circular arrow around it. The turns orientation lock on/off. When on you should see a small version of the same icon in the menu bar.
