How to show turkish caharacters in smart forms

Hi ,
i am unable to show the turkish characters in my smartform. Please suggest me the character set that i should be using.Is there any transaction for adding turkish to fontset in samrtstyles.
My pc supports turkish...

Hi,
There is a number of SAP notes which regard printing the special characters. Look in SAP notes section, and look for "printing turkish" or similar query. There might be fonts designed for Turkish language (similarly, I found the suitable fonts to print cyrillic and latin Serbian).
Once you find the fonts, you have only solved the displaying part- you still need to find the suitable SAP device which can actually send the characters to the printer, in the right format. Look for that too, in the SAP notes section.

How to display TEXT vertically in SMART FORM

Help me in making Images appearing as Transperent . Screen shots attached
I am having a TextInput and a Search Button (The Functionality is that user can enter something in this TextInput and makes a Search Operation by pressing Search Button .)
At the Initail screen display i need to show Some Image in transperent Inside this TextInput , when Mouse is focused on this TextInput , the Image will be completely Invisible .
Now the question i want to ask is , how to show image in a Transperent form ??

How to display the data from a internal table in a smart form.
I want each record to be displayed in seperate page.

Do this ,
in the main window - open a loop on your internal table ,
within the loop open the text and give the output fields,
after this text use the Command node and in this set the next page as page1,
so when the loop gets executed its first record will be on the first page and the second record will be on the next page and so on ..

How to print BAR code in SMART Form

Hi All,
I have the requirement to print BAR CODE in Smartforms.
For this, I create a character format with Bar code in style forms and create a text element in Smart form and associate bar code character format with this text element.
Now when I look the print preview for the data, then it shows me data in bar code format but not in right format i.e. its shows me all the similar block in bar code.
If you look the bar code in SAP script, its always show you bar code with similar block, but in SMART FORM it will show you exact bar code; as in SAP Script, bar code is generated at printer end and in SMARTFORM bar code is generated as graphic in SAP and then sent to printer for print.
PLease let me know, why in SMARTFORM its not showing BAR CODE in correct format in print preview.

To Create a Bar code prefix:
1) Go to T-code - SPAD -> Full Administration -> Click on Device Type -> Double click the device for which you wish to create the print control -> Click on Print Control tab ->Click on change mode -> Click the plus sign to add a row or prefix say SBP99 (Prefix must start with SBP) -> save you changes , it will ask for request -> create request and save
2) Now when you go to SE73 if you enter SBP00 for you device it will add the newly created Prefix
Create a character format C1.Assign a barcode to the character format.Check the check box for the barcode.
The place where you are using the field value use like this
<C1> &itab-field& </C1>.
You will get the field value in the form of barcode.
Which barcode printer are you using ? Can you download this file and see.

A barcode solution consists of the following:
- a barcode printer
- a barcode reader
- a mobile data collection application/program
A barcode label is a special symbology to represent human readable information such as a material number or batch number
in machine readable format.
There are different symbologies for different applications and different industries. Luckily, you need not worry to much about that as the logistics supply chain has mostly standardized on 3 of 9 and 128 barcode symbologies - which all barcode readers support and which SAP support natively in it's printing protocols.
You can print barcodes from SAP by modifying an existing output form.
Behind every output form is a print program that collects all the data and then pass it to the form. The form contains the layout as well as the font, line and paragraph formats. These forms are designed using SAPScript (a very easy but frustratingly simplistic form format language) or SmartForms that is more of a graphical form design tool.
Barcodes are nothing more than a font definition and is part of the style sheet associated with a particular SAPScript form. The most important aspect is to place a parameter in the line of the form that points to the data element that you want to represent as barcode on the form, i.e. material number. Next you need to set the font for that parameter value to one of the supported barcode symbologies.

How to delete a line in smart forms

Hi all
i have data in my itab in following format

i have to print data from col month to 7 in main area of the table in smart forms but it shows the 3rd line as well(an empty extra line) . is there any way that i may be able to delete or truncate third line ? as i have to print total below some where.

i have a solution to ur question.
well u only want to print a line in the smartform Main window table if u have data in the first field of ur internal table lets take name as T_FINAL.
So u want to print lines in Smartform if T_Final-Field1 (which for month) is not empty.
For this go to the Condition tab of the Line (ROW) inside ur MAIN AREA In TABLE which must be there in any window probably in the Main window.
Double click on the Line (ROW) in MAIN AREA, It will contain 2 tabs Output option and Condition.
Click On condition and write under FIELD NAME the field of ur internal table WA u r using in TABLE for eg T_Final-Field1 if its Internal table with header line or if u r using a separate Work area use the work area like WA_Final-FIELD1, then click on the Square button just in front of it to select an RELATIONAL OPERATOR , put there the RELATIONAL OPERATOR as "Not Equal to" and in the comparison value column write a space quoted with single quotation as ' '.
After u do this any line encountered with its first field of WA_FINAL i.e wa_final-field1as empty wont be printed.
This Reloves ur issue.

Can anyone please let me know how to draw vertical and horizontal lines in smart forms, i have to do this in the secondary window.

Hi Ramesh,
In the window output options you have option of check box to get lines.
Then you need to give the spacing for vertical and horizontal.
Another option is putting a template on window and getting the boxes, but it is quite little bit complex.
Put the cursor on the WINDOW in which the lines you want.
Right click on it>create>complex section.
In that select the TEMPLATE radio button.
Goto TAB TEMPLATE.
Name: give some name of line.
From: From coloumn.
To: To coloumn
Height: specify the height of the line.
Next give the coloumn widths.
Like this you can draw the vertical and horzontal lines.
If the above option doesnot workout then u can try the below option also
any how you can draw vertical and horizontal lines using Template and Table.
for Template First define the Line and divide that into coloumns and goto select patterns and select the required pattern to get the vertical and horizontal lines.
For table, you have to divide the total width of the table into required no.of columns and assign the select pattern to get the vertical and horizontal lines.

After doing some research in sdn and other sources i found the following result...
Digital Signatures are nothing but graphics that we can store in SAP and use in our Smart Forms.
For Example you can create a .bmp file of your signatures, upload it via SE78, and then use it in your Smart Forms in your Footer Area as "Authorized Signatory".
The Logic in the Print Program can be something as follows -
1. Maintain a Z Table having fields like PLANT, FORMID (Name of the SmartForm), USERID.
2. Before calling the Form, the validation is made for the Logged in User with the Z Table created.
3. If the User Entry exists in the Z-Table, the Form is called and the Signature Image is displayed in the Footer Block i.e. the Authorized Signature.
4. If user entry does not exist in the Z-Table then the message is displayed "You are not the Authorized for Printing the Form" and exits the Transaction.

How to call text editors in smart forms?

In my module pool program,I included text editors for three fields.I want that fields in smart forms too.I need to know how these text editors are called in smart forms?

Hi achu,
Any text that gets saved has a corresponding entry in table STXH table. It usually has the following parameters : TDOBJECT,TDNAME,TDID and TDSPRAS.
What you have to do is create a new text element and under general attributes ---> Type - give Include Text.
And in the include text you give the above four parameters which correspond to the text you want to display.
P.S. Do not forget to check the 'No error if no text exists' checkbox.
