Hey James,
From the app store, choose a free app and select it for download. It'll ask you to log in. Once logged in, it should allow you to select 'no credit card', when you go through your account details.

How to sign into the iTunes store without a credit card?
For the past little while I have been very frustrated with itunes. I don't have an apple device, but I want to start legitimately purchasing the music I listen to (I live in Canada, so downloading music is legal, but I'd still like to purchase music to show support for artists I like)
So anyways, I download itunes and it says to make an account. Okay. So, I follow the steps and then it asks for my credit card information. I don't have one right now, so I just left it blank. Suddenly, RED BOXES. D: I hate red boxes. So I can't even create an apple ID, eh? Hmm..
So I go to the apple.com website and create an apple ID from there. Success! I can now go to the app store and get ready to purchase music...right? Wrong! "This apple ID has not yet been used with the iTunes store. Please review your account information."
Ooookkaayyyy...... so I follow the steps and once again I get to the billing information, which it won't let me skip, so I can't even sign in. I've done some googling and apparently there is or used to be a "none" option for the credit card?? Where has that gone? Why is it not there anymore??! >_>
What can I do do get around this?
TL;DR- I am so not apple savvy. Help me.
Btw, even when I put in the little code thingy for an itunes card in the itunes card box it still wants me to enter credit card info. :/
Eeeehhhhh..... Uhm, never mind. I guess I might have typed in the code wrong or something because it works now. Sorry for wasting youur time, everyone. I'm new to the whole apple scene, I'm an android convert... lol

Well, bummer! I'm putting a link to the article that shows you how to set up an iTunes account with "None", but it requires a new Apple ID. If you are setting up an iTunes account with an existing Apple ID, a Credit Card is required....

It does say that once you have set it up with a credit card, you can change it to None (there's a link for that embedded in the second article).....but it appears that it requires a credit card to start with

How to sign in to iTunes Connect?
I created a free books account and step 2 is to sign in to iTunes connect to download iTunes Producer.
But I'm unable to sign in.
I go to

I enter the username and the passord
and got the message:
Apple ID does not have permission to access iTunes Connect
I checked, I reset the passord in iTunes and I got always this message.
I believe it's because it goes to the US store and I'm registered in the Portuguese store.
Can it be?
What should I do?

To start the process, get in touch with your local higher education account executive. This is almost always the same person that deals with your campus reseller to sell Macs/iPods on campus. If you don't have Apple representaiton (or have trouble finding who manages your account), I think I would start with Apple's higher education group and make a bunch of phone calls. My bet is that if you don't have an AE now, Apple would -luv- to fix it so you do. -

HT4914 I want to sign up for itunes match but have too many songs.
I want to subscribe to itunes match but I have too many songs. Is there a way to select songs to store w/match like I can when syncing devices? I just get an error message that I can't subscribe because I have too many songs. I want to be able to back up some of my library w/match. Do I have to delete songs just so I can subscribe?
I found the same thing wtih my iPad. "Not available in USA". I bought the iPad here, and I am definitely in the US, and my settings confirm that I am registered in the US. So something else is going on. I went to an Apple store; the technician there showed me how to sign on to iTunes on my home computer and register for itunes match on the home computer -- but when I got home I couldn't get it to work.

Open the latest version of iTunes.
Choose Store > Sign In from the Store menu.
Enter your Apple ID and password, then click Sign In.
Click Review when asked to review your information.
Enter your billing information, a credit card will be required.
Click Continue when you're done entering your credit card and billing information.

How can i get my itunes library on my fiances' iphone 5? I have an iphone 4s, ipad and a Mac book pro. I thought I could have my music on up to ten different devises? I signed in on his phone and my music is in his itunes account but it is not in his music file.
I regret to say that you need a new computer. That G5, as good as it still is, simply cannot run the required software to be used with the latest iPhones and other software.
