How to simply print a picture?

I have my album set up and ready to print, but I keep getting directed to ShutterFly. help! thanks! (i had the very old 2002 Elements -- but now i have the new software).

Hi, here’s a print screen of the software in “Start/All Programs.” Hope this answers your question.
Steps: I opened a desktop shortcut created by my IT guy, uploaded a new album with 4 pictures, then could not find where to print. Right click/print leads to Shutterfly.
p.s. I printed million of pictures with PhotoShop 2002, but that was WAY different!

Today 3/27/2012 I tried downloading HP software that says it has a new feature that allows printing multiple pictures on a single sheet of photopaper. The download started and halted at only one square and sat there flashing for hours, meaning it wasn't downloading on my Pavilion desktop computer. Since it's a new feature (apparently), no wonder no one as yet has asked this question and so I doubt if anyone has the answer. But, I'll wait to see.

How can I print a picture with a caption and EXIF information?

Hi,
I want to print a picture and use the caption from the meta data and the information about shutter speed, focal length and so on. I figured out that there is a way to print this information in the print module, but it is attached directly to the image, which does not look good. Question is there another way? Maybe involving Photoshop? I would like to have the flexibility I have with the slide show designer, where I can put caption to the left side of the image and ISO, shutter speed and so on to the right. Is this possible somehow?
I am looking for an easy preset that I could apply to a lot of pictures.

There's a Lightroom addin called Mogrify that will do this (and a lot more). Just google it. It's something you have to buy but it's not a lot of money.

When I preview a "Snowflake Card" it is showing fine in iPhoto,
but the preview is not showing the snowflake pattern, only Print marks.
I think, the snowflake pattern will be embossed on the paper, so it is not part of the PDF preview.
Is this, what you are seeing?

Welcome to the HP Support Forums and thank you for the private message. I understand that you are getting an error message when trying to print some pictures from a memory card that were downloaded from Facebook.
I have included the HP Photosmart 140 Series User Guide. On page 30 it lists the image file formats that are supported and it lists only JPEG Baseline for JPEG image files. On page 31 it lists the different supported Memory Cards. Please check the file type and the card type to ensure they meet the specifications.

I purchased and Adobe Photoshop Elements 8 from a garage sale and have downloaded the software onto my computer. I have posted pictures and edited them, but I am unable to pass the pictures to any site to be printed. I have registered the photoshop with adobe .com, but I can't find any information that is helpful concerning my being unable to send the pictures to any source. Am I missing something? I set the preferences to photo paper photo paper dispenser, but it still prints on the regular paper instead of photo paper? Also set size to border less 4" by 6'. Thanks for your help! Ozz

The list you saw that shows what drivers are available from Apple Software Update is based on what drivers are supplied by the vendor to Apple. So it would appear that HP has not provided Apple with a scanner driver for 10.9 (known as an ICA driver), or provided an update if one was available for a previous version of OS X, so that you can scan from Image Capture.
I checked the HP web site for your model and they don't show any scanner driver or scanning software. If there was a scanner driver, you would be able to use Vuescan.
As for the Scan button not working, the following is documented by HP
Scanning to the computer from the printer control panel is not available when you scan with Preview, Image Capture, or Printer browser methods. You must use HP Scan software to scan from the printer.
But there does not appear to be any version of HP Scan software available for 10.9. So unless someone else has some workaround, it seems that you won't be able to scan with this model of HP.

Here are some general rules to follow when using ePrint:
Send to only one email recipient, the one recipient is your printer
Make sure the email address you're sending from is on your Approved Senders list (if you set one up in your ePrintCenter account)
The email and attachments must be less than 5MB total
If possible, try another email client
Let me know if any of these work for you.
