How to skip the Audigy's built-in amplifi

Is here any way to set the Audigy to source-through mode (line-out/not speaker-out)?
I connected my audigy's line out to my new external anolog amplifier, and want to skip the built-in amp.
Need ur help!

50% or just a little bit below that should be a good setting for the main output. To be honest though you should get the full range of volume when connecting to an external amp. This is really very much like connecting to a set of powered speakers in that the signal is being amplified at the speakers. You might try connecting a pair of headphones or powered speakers if you have them to see if you notice a drop in quality as you raise the values on them.

I created a procedure to read the file from shared location using UTl_FILE package. But, I stucked why because I don't know how to skip the header rows as those rows are headings for one of the report.Since, please help me.

Vissu.....UTL_FILE just reads data from the file. It has no concept of what could be a "header" or "body" or "records" or "footer" or any other data based concept. If you want to skip lines of a file, you will just need to read them using UTL_FILE and ignore them.

How do I skip the currently-playing tune in iTunes 11 if I don't want to hear the rest of it? Clicking pause and then play just resumes that same tune, which often isn't what I want to do.

   I am struck up somewhere in getters and setters in field symbols.
I am setting the file name field in se38 and trying to directly go to display mode of the program and i am doing that through RS_SPOOL_ACCESS . I am not able to skip the first screen of se38 and go to diplay mode of the program.
How can i do that. Skip first screen is not working.

             and return.</b>
If u specify and return the control will come back and execute the next line in the report.
It is giving the output directly without showing the selection screen.
If u r pressing back also it is not showing the selction screen.

How to skip the spaces, ' etc when passing the parameter to srw.run_report?

Hi, I have got problem with passing parameter to srw.run_report. It seems it doesn't take the special symbols such as space, ', etc.. the statement is like:
srw.run_report('report=test1 p_name='| |:p_title);
if :p_title is "JOE", there is no problem to pass it, but if the :p_title is "JOE LI", then the value of the parameter can be passed to p_name.
Does any one know how to skip those special symbols in the string when passing it to srw.run_report. Thank you very much.

where on context mapping, i mapped the MODEL with my CONTROLLER.
I would like to SKIP couple of Attributes and Model node
In WEBSERVICE navigator, i have the check box as SKIP, so using that i can skip in Navigator ,
But how to do the same in WEBDYNPRO Coding.
Say for Example

The MOST wired thing is
if i didnt set and Role , SysId in webservice navigator , then Error thrown at Webservice Navigator is
Error in Submiting Request : RoleId is mandatory,SysId is mandatory null
on following same thing , if i didnt set Role and SysID in WebDynpro then, i get error as
Error in Submiting Request : No role seleced for the request.
How is this possible....
any help on this would be appreciated...

How to skip the '\n' char when reading with BufferedReader

well the thing is that I need to read from the System.in untill I get the "" String. Well the initial idea was to make a BufferedReader object and put the br.readLine(); method inside a recursive method, like this:

well, I think this one it's a nice idea, however, it doesn't work for me because the input is going to be just like this:
word1: concept1...
word2: concept2...
word3: concept3...
word4: concept4...
and! it's going to be pasted on the console (that is "ctrl+c" then "ctrl+v")... that's the real problem that I have, the method that I did reads some lines not all of them, I think it's because there is no synchronization (guessing) between the ctrl+v and the execution of the program...
so I thought about skiping the '\n' char, to do this I checked the readLine() method of the BufferedReader and found out that it calls a
readLine(boolean ignoreLF)method and that ignoreLF and skipLF -boolean form the class- determine whether readLine() will skip the '\n' char or not:
boolean omitLF = ignoreLF || skipLF;ok now the question: how do I make ignoreLF or skipLF = true? I tried to look more in the BufferedReader class but I didn't see how to change the skipLF value...

Use read() instead of readLine(). This method will read characters, and does not treat the EOL charactger the same way. Just keep reading until you find a sequence of characters (two EOL sequences in a row) that matches your end condition. Just be careful, since different OSs have different EOL sequences ... \n, \n\r, or \r. Also, remember that you will have to deal with the EOL sequences. They will not be discarded automatically.
You can also use read( char[], int, int) to read as many characters as you want, without regard to EOL sequences. This will only stop reading when EOF is reached, or when the next read will cause the underlying stream to block, or when you have read a specified number of characters. Again, this will not terminate at a EOL sequence, and will include the EOL sequences in your array.
As far as readLine() is concerned, I think you want to stop when you have TWO successive reads that equal "".

I have to skip the last digit in a material no (MATNR) .
Example:
If the matnr is 12345A
I need to take out the last digit which is 'A' and store the material no as '12345'.
Please let me know how can we do this easily?

Hi Colin,
I dont think you would be able to skip the ALV output using SUBMIT. However try changing the value of sy-lsind after the submit statement.
SUBMIT RMVKON00
AND RETURN EXPORTING LIST TO MEMORY.
sy-lsind = sy-lsind - 1.
If that doesnt work then try using JOB_START JOB_SUBMIT, JOB_CLOSE...

How to use the BD menu built into the player in Encore CS4

I cant get Encore to create a production that responds to the player Top Menu button (Panasonic Direct Navigator table). Cyberlink, which was bundled with the burner, does this by default. Place a number of videos into the production, dont create a menu, and OK!: Press the Top Menu button and the player's built in table pops up with a list of all titles.
In Encore, press the Top Menu button, and you get 'operation not allowed'. It appears that Encore requires a Title button action?, but opening the player table is not an option. There is no Title button on the remote; there is Top Menu and Popup Menu.
There's got to be a simple solution. Player menu tables have been around since DVDs.

I'm not aware of any method to access a menu system that is only built into hardware. My own Sony DVD does not have such a menu, and if there is none on the DVD, I get none during playback no matter which buttons I press.
The standard method is to add your own menu if you want a menu.
