How to skip to a new page within Pages?

This always used to work with ''Ctrl + Enter'', but now i've upgraded to the newest Pages, this doesn't work anymore, this is actually driving me mad and i can't find anywhere how to skip to a new page.. this is really anoying when working with big files where i have to change things on certain pages.

Pages 5.1 is a bug - ridden disaster lacking about 100 features present in Pages 09. There are many complaints of data loss, corrupted Filene, docs that can't be opened etc. do not use it for any serious work. Pages 09 should still be on your system. Use that instead

Before your response was received, I continued to fiddle with the popup box that appears when you click the "bookmark this page". in my fiddling, i noticed that at least once, a litlle small solid triangle appeared just before From IE....I clicked on that little triangle and voila, there were all my sub-folders under the main IE folder!!! Nowhere in all the old posted Firefox support had I seen I clear illustration of doing this......probably I missed it or I'm just a dumbie?
Meanwhile, if anyone is having all kinds of strange problems with computer, and no browsers including IE, with the exception of Firefox, are working properly, if you have Norton Security on your computer and it al;so is not working properly, UNINSTALL NORTON!!!!!!!!!!! That was my situation, to the extent HP free support was going to help me wipe the drive and try to put the computer back "as new", but using a different security program!!!!!

It sounds as if what you are wanting to do in the Pages application is to insert a Page Break. Follow the steps in this article -
Pages '09: Inserting a Page Break
In a word processing document, click where you want the break to occur, and then choose Insert > Page Break.
To remove a page break, click at the beginning of the line that follows the break and press the Delete key.
In a page layout document, to insert a new page in your document, click Pages in the toolbar and choose from the template page options available.

In Numbers, when adding text within a table frame, how can I start a new line within the same frame (rather than advancing to the next cell)? I'd like to enter a mini-list of several items of various lengths of data.

While Wayne's answer solves your problem, another possibility is to uncheck the box at the bottom of the Table inspector for "Return key moves to next cell." If that is unchecked, the return key types a paragraph return within the cell (the same as Option Return with the box checked).
With that box unchecked, Shift Return types a soft return (new line without a paragraph break).

How do I open a new page on iPad 7.0.4?

When I downloaded the new OS 7.0.4 software, a lot changed in Safari. It used to be easy to just go to the top bar, open a new tab for a new page. Now that same area is "favorites" (which I don't care about anyway). If I want to open a page, I have to first go to favorites, instead of a blank page (which is what I want). This is an "improvement"? Why is Apple constantly diddling with stuff that isn't broken, making new problems we didn't even know existed before? How do you just a stupid $8;%^ blank page? Thanks.

To make a new document, go to File > New From Template chooser and choose the type of document you wish to create.
To add a new page to an existing document go to Insert > Sections > Blank.

Maybe you need to put Dreamweaver down and learn the basics
of HTML first?

How do I stop the new Pages from updating the old Pages? It is automatically updating, but I don't want it to because it's horrible!!!

Luckily it had stopped trying to upgrade overnight, but your suggestion definitely helped. I checked in the System Preferences and, sure enough, I had the auto-upgrade checked for regular programs but not apps. So, it was doing what I told it, even though it wasn't what I wanted! I am very thankful that I get to stay with my Pages 4 for now. I love my Mac because it has always been so intuitive, searching for what I needed was fairly easy. Unfortunately, some of the new upgrades of late don't fit that bill. Pages 5 has some work to be done before I will feel comfortable switching. Thank you for your help!
Now, any idea why my Calendar has frozen with the message "Moving calendars to server account..." ever since I downloaded Maverick? I have had to do a force quit for the last two nights to get it to shut off so I can turn off my computer. The swirling candycane of death accompanies this message. You can achieve this by just making some changes to the textfield (and the page layout).
First, select the textfield and then in the Layout palette, tick 'expand' height to fit'. When you preview the form, you will see that as you type information into the field, a scroll bar will appear. When you exit the field, it will expand automatically to display the full contents.
Now the problem will be that the textfield will expand over objects that are positioned below it - not good!
So what you need to do is set up your form for a flowed layout. First select all of the objects that do not grow in size and wrap them inside a 'positioned subform'. When you select the subform you can see this setting in the Object > Subform palette. You should name the subforms in the hierarchy. So you will end up with a positioned subform above your textfield and a positioned subform beneath your textfield (if you have objects beneath it).
Then select page1 in the hierarchy and in the Object > Subform palette, change the content to 'flowed'. Hopefully the layout won't change too much (because you will have most of your objects in their positioned subform).
Last step is to select the textfield and in the Object > Field palette tick 'Allow page breaks within content'. This tells Acrobat/Reader to split the object if it overflows onto a new page.
Now save the form as a Dynamic XML Form in the save as dialog and previewed it. Now when the textfield expands it will push objects beneath it down. Also when it gets to the bottom of the page, it will start a new page automatically and continue the content on the new page.

How do you start a new page completely blank?

When you make a new page it always points to a template is there a way to just have a blank page. Also how do you add a new color to the background? My current site uses the black template http://rabidart.com which I'm happy with but I don't like the "iWeb" looking navigational buttons on top. I'd like to design my own but can't take them out on the template.

when you already provided the par file then
go to content admin->portla content
go to your folder in pcd content and right click and navigate to new-> layout. There you can find your deployed new page layout par file.
Create a page layout based on the par file and in the properties make it as template.
Later when you try to create a page then you will get the new layout as one of the option.

How to write on a new page ?

Sorry for my English
When i try to open a new page , I can't write anything because there is any text field . I must add one myself but when I do that , if I copy/paste a long text from an other source to Pages , a long part of the the text disapears because the thext field isn't long enought and I can't create one that goes from Page 1 to Page 2 .
On Word , ther is no problem (you can see the little bar on the top left corner .

You have opened a page layout template which requires a "container" such as a text box or a shape to put text in. A word processing document has a text layer that you can start typing in. You can tell the difference by looking in the title bar.
Make sure you choose the blank from the word processing section of the template chooser.
