No you do not need separate Apple ID's in order to use 3 devices with one Apple ID. I use 4 devices to Message and FaceTime and all use the same Apple ID. You do need to add additional email addresses for the other devices.

If you only want the movies you have synced to show up on your iPad and not all the purchased ones in the cloud do the following
On your iPad
Click on Settings
click on Videos
Click on Show All Videos and change slider to off (gray)
Will only show movies that you have synced

The iPad will be $329 AUD if replaced via postage service or $309 AUD if replaced at an Apple Store. Yes they will give you the replacement and take your old iPad so I would suggest if you can back it up to iTunes so that you can restore the back up to the replacement.

Try some basic troubleshooting:
(A) Try reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
(B) Try reset all settings
Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings
(C) Setup as new (data will be lost if you do not have backup)
Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and settings

Hi, my friend has recently bought a second hand iPad and has been having problems using it with her iTunes account. She has the latest version installed on her laptop but when the iPad is connected, a window opens to say it cannot be used because it requires iTunes 10.1 or later.

Has she access to another computer with iTunes. If so, attach it to that briefly to see if she gets the same message. If she does not then the problem is iTunes on her own laptop. This can be resolved in two ways. If the iTunes update was recent then do a system restore on the laptop and then update iTunes again. (Be careful that such a restore has not ramifications as regards to new programmes installed in the interim.) Now try connecting again. iOS does not support file transfer via Bluetooth. If you want to transfer photos, you'll need to sync through your computer or use a cloud-based service.
Please help me otherwise this will be the last iPad I'll ever own.
If you think some other device will suit you better, by all means sell your iPad and buy that other device.

When I sync my photo album (from Aperture or iPhoto) to my iPad using iTunes, the filenames remain the same in iPhoto on the iPad, when I browse synced album. Have you tried syncing with iTunes?
