How to Solve Morgan Multimedia Codec trial offer dialog box in PSE 6.0?

In the Organizer view of PhotoShop Elements 6.0, all my video links are marked with a broken video film clip image. When I click on the link, the video does not appear; instead, i see a popup dialog box that says "The trial period has expired! You can buy the codec online at: www.morgan-multimedia.com".
Why do i have to buy a codec? When i first bought PSE 6.0, videos used to work fine. I'm an infrequent user of the software, and have ignored this issue so far. Is Morgan Multimedia working with Adobe? I'd like to solve this -- thanks for your help.

Well, there might be more answers in the Photoshop Elements forum, but first some background on CODEC's. This ARTICLE will give you the basics.
Adobe, and a lot of other software companies, offer trials of various 3rd party products, which will work within them. Pinnacle is probably the best (or worst, depending on one's perspective), in that most of the Transitions and Effects are trial only. To use them without a watermark, one must buy the packs. Adobe does similar with PrPro, where one gets 3 trial uses of the Minnetonka SurCode plug-in to Export DD 5.1 SS Audio. After that, one can buy the plug-in from within PrPro, and get a US$50 discount over the SurCode Web site.
On many Adobe programs' installation discs, there are 3rd part trials. Some can be bought with an "Adobe user discount," and some are for the same prices as on the mfgr's Web site. It is common practice.

My dialog box consists two buttons - cancel and create.
The cancel buttons should close the popup and the create button should create an entity of a specified object. but let us come to the cancel button. I did´nt find any information about implementing an cancel button. So, how should I implement it? I thougt

thank you for your advice! This problem is solved...
...but I have another issue. Ive implemented 2 editable fields in my popup. The user should fill that fields with context and that context should be processed in the calling view of my popup.
My question is how to transfer these information from my popup to my calling view or method?
I tried the following...
      lv_context_node ?= m_popup->get_context_node( 'QUICKACT' ).
      IF lv_context_node IS NOT INITIAL.
        lv_text = lv_context_node->get_date( attribute_path = '' ).
      ENDIF.
But it doesnt work! The context node object is always empty/initial.

PS: Another possibility could be that the object / node of the calling view is transferred to the pop-up in order to process it there.

Where are the instructions on how the information in the Multiple Item Information dialog box equates to ...
1. The way iTunes sorts tracks and albums
2. The reason to select a leading check box
3. Why there are Option selections (Yes /No) and leading check boxes.
4. Why some changes remain in the track info, but do not "take effect" in iTunes (Part of a compilation is an example)

As Christopher says, it's a compilation. Different tracks are by different artists.
Setting the *Album Artist* field to *Various Artists* and setting *Part of a compilation* to Yes should be all that is required. Depending on your *Group compilations when browsing* setting ( I recommend On ) either should suffice but I suggest doing both.
Based on your commentary, I selected all the "O Brother" tracks, and checked the boxes for everything line that was blank in the Info and the Sort panes. Only exceptions were the album name and the disc number 1 of 1 and the artwork. I blanked and checked anything else.
That's not what I meant. When you select multiple tracks, only those values which +are already common+ to all tracks are displayed. Typically these will include Artist, though not with compilation albums, Album Artist, Album, No. of Tracks, Genre plus various sort fields. A blank value may indicate that different tracks have different values or it may be that the value is blank for all tracks. For the drop down values on the Options tab the value shown may not reflect the information in every tag. If values you expect to be common, such as Album Artist or the Album title are not displayed you can simply type these in and click OK. This will often be enough to group the album.
If you place a checkmark against the blank boxes and apply changes then you will clear those fields so you should only do this if that is the effect you want. Putting a checkmark next to an empty (representing different values) *Track No.* box, for example, will just clear the all the track numbers which is very rarely useful.
Adding then removing extra text is for a specific problem where despite all common values being identical across the tracks of the album iTunes seems to "remember" that it should see two albums. A typical example would be when an album originally listed as *Album CD1* & *Album CD2* is given disc numbers X of Y and then has the Album name changed to Album. I've seen iTunes merge all but one track into the new album, but insist on listing one remaining track separately, despite both albums having the same title. In this case I've found overtyping the album title again has no effect whereas changing it to AlbumX and then back to Album does what I was trying to achieve in the first place.
Don't forget that even properly organsied albums may still break up if you don't chose an album-friendly view. Sorting on the track name or track number columns can be useful in some circumstances but in general I revert to Album by Artist when browsing through my library.

Click on the Firefox menu. Then click "Options". Go to "Applications" tab. Search for jpg and png file type. You will find they have "Always ask" action attribute. Change it to "Save file".

I get a lot of email with attachments that I need to work on - word documents and powerpoint slides mainly.
I am still running Snow Leopard and I think Finder is very frustrating. Has it been improved in this aspect in Mountain Lion?
Firstly, if I look at the email and click the "save" box next to the attachment, it immediately puts the attachment in the download folder. I dont want that. I want to be given a dialog box giving me options where to save the file in my heirachy of folders that I have set up by client and project. Sending it to the download folder is a naff default, but I cannot find a way to change this default?
Secondly, if i scroll down to the bottom of the email to see the attached file, and then right click to "save as", I get a dialog that is devoid of all the customisation options I have chosen for the standard finder view. For examply, I cannot get the "path" to be displayed as part of the "save as" dialog box.
This is all pretty fundamental stuff, and Windows have been able to offer much better customisation and default setting in Windows Explorer for years. WHy is OSX so far behind in this aspect?
Is Lion better?
Do I have to fork out an additional $35 for each of my 3 macs to buy "Default Folder" just to get something that should be basic workflow management within the OSX
Am I missing something?

What I really want, though, is for when I press the "save" button next to an attachment in the email, then I want to be given the choice of where to save it, and easy ways of navigating to my recent folders, favourite folders etc. Each file I save will need to go to a folder dependent upon which client it is, so just saving then all by default into "Documents" for example, means that after saving them, I then need to go and move them to the correct location.

That u201CXu201D is not on for the u201CModal dialog boxu201D type screen.

Is it possible to programatically add shortcuts to the dialog box that opens when you press the browse button attached to a file/path control? I'd like to be able to add to the list which includes, My Recent Documents, Desktop, My Documents, My Computer, My Network Places.

How do I turn off these stupid warning dialog boxes?

I have a bunch of files with incorrect or missing extensions, in this case they're all just .jpg files. Each time I add the ".jpg" extension I get a dialog box that tells me the obvious:
"*Are you sure you want to add the extension ".jpg" to the end of the name?*
If you make this change your document may open in a different application."
Duh. That's exactly why I'm adding the extension.
How do I turn this stupidity off?

Didn't see it in my 10.4.11 on iMac G4 17 1.25 computer.
But if you change an image or file prefix, you usually get
a notice that by changing one of them, a different app may
be required to open or view it (where possible to do so.)
{If the existing prefix is hidden by Finder preference, you
will get a notice if you try to add another or same, again.}
My 10.5.8 on Mini G4 1.5GHz has some other setting(s.)
Some are better than Tiger, others less helpful.
However, that one is off; while my iMac has been running
about 164 days, 5 hours and 50 minutes without a restart.
Anyway, it's still cold/darker outside. Must be winter.

When the image is open in ACR hold down the SHIFT key and you'll see the button marked Open Image changes to Open Object, so do your ACR adjustments then hold down shift and click Open Object - your image will open as a Smart Object in Photoshop.
If using Lightroom you can right click the image and select Edit>Open as Smart Object in Photoshop from the drop-down menu.
Do not confuse normal smart objects with what we're talking about here, Camera RAW Smart Objects - possibly one of the most powerful tools to have at your dispossal, once you understand them.

How do I resize the "Save Document as" dialog box

I have an office laptop with InDesign CS 5.5 somehow my dialog box has become huge! and I can't figure out how to make it smaller again. (see screenshot below)
Whenever it is saving I have hovered my mouse over the edges and corners and it just keeps the circle showing that it is busy and won't let me resize it.
I don't mind it so much when I have my laptop docked and am using the duel screens at the office but when I am having to work from home on the laptop the box is taller than my screen.
Unfortunately since this is a work computer I can't do anything such as uninstall and reinstall without having to involve the IT department. Is there an option I'm not finding or a cool shortcut I can try to make this dialogue box go back to it's original size?
side notes:
InDesign CS5.5 (not most updated version because it will not work with MediaLink)
my InDesign is paired up with MediaLink which helps handle the flow of advertisements that need to be worked on

It's hard to tell exactly what is the Save As dialog box, but I'm guessing it's the large gray rectangle on the left side.
I don't think this is an InDesign problem as much as a Windows problem.
You may have to bring your IT people into this.
