How to solve problem saving from cloud to CS6

AS a student I have the CC version, but once I go to my "cheap" college (MATC) the files I have saved on cloud won't open? is there a solution to this? or should I got to UVU a university that has money? hahah

Are you saying you already own CS6, but use CC at school?
The easy answer -- backsave to CS6.  Collect files to keep projects together.
You gotta love how Adobe treats schools & students.  I think you can scrape the answer off the bottom of your shoe.

    Thanks Peter but I was not seeking to store with I-Cloud. In fact I never store documents with I-cloud.
    I was in fact trying to store the files to Documents, which is where I usually keep such things.
    Have now discovered that if I leave the file untiled and simply close it, rather than saving it then it will save, oddly, to Documents. I then have to re-title it and move to the folder I want it in.
    Despite the above, even once it is titled and saved in Documents then if I reopen it I still cannot then Export it to a Word or PDF file. I still just get the message . xxxxxx.pages does not exist!
    Bad news as I am constantly exporting documents to Word and PDF to send to others who do not use a Mac

    There is nothing to resolve. Serial numbers are platform specific, but platform swaps only apply to current versions, meaning CS&. Your CS4 is not eligible for an upgrade, so your only option is to buy a new CS6 license or sign up for Creative Cloud.

    Do you have specific ones you wish to migrate?
    I think with CS6 I believe the underlying architecture for plugins was changed, so you may wish to check with the makers to see if they have CS6 compatible update versions available.
    I think some had to be re-written under the new framework to be compatible under CS6.

    Have either of you tried a Reset Settings yet? (Settings App -> General -> Reset -> Reset All Settings NOT Erase All Content and Settings.) You could also try just the "Reset Network Settings" first too. Resetting settings will purge your lock screen and wallpaper, and probably some other things that will be annoying for a bit (like turning back on the keyboard clicking sound,) but it seemed to help my problems.
    I work on iPhone problems all day (mostly backup and restore right now), so I collect a lot of the debugging logs. I saw a lot of networking error garbage on my 5S right after upgrading from iOS7 that was vastly reduced after doing a reset all settings (I wish I would have tried just Reset Network Settings first, so I knew if that worked alone.)
    If that still doesn't help, I would love to take a look at your phone debug logs (like I said, I do iPhone troubleshooting all day, so investigating and hopefully fixing a serious problem sounds exciting to me ) If you want, you can contact me through my company's webpage: http://deciphertools.com/support.html and we can start looking at what kind of errors are happening while the wifi is acting up.     Sometimes its bescause you have to much memory being used up. Id try:
    1. Double tap the home button to bring up the bottom. Hold your finger down on any app until they wiggle. X out of any apps you are not using.
    2. Reboot. Hold the home and power button at the same time. Ignore the red slider. Until the screen goes black and the apple logo appears.
    Try your game or app again. I know if you have a bunch of stuff running in the background, and run a game like infinity blade or a high processing game. The app will close on you.

    If your friend backed up to 'the cloud', meaning an online service other than Apple's 'iCloud', you will have to go to the documentation or Support for whoever is running that particular service to find out what to do.

    Hmmmm…  My pedestrian Mac Book has the lowly Intel GMA 950 chipset with a mere 64 MB of VRAM in the form of Shared System Memory.  Photoshop 13.0.5 chugs along, minus the advanced graphics capabilities or GPU processing, of course.
    Until I acquired the 65-lb Mac Pro, that was my dinky Photoshop CS6 system. 
    I was happy to be able to run ACR 7.4 on it. 
    Once again, accept my most abject apologies for the confusion created by my misunderstanding.
