How to sort articles inside a folio?

I'm working with basic Acrobat account, and before I could sort the articles inside my folios, but now I can't.
I follow this steps;
Open my Acrobat account and I select the work space that correspond to the folio that I want to modify. After I make double click in the folio file and I select open document or open document in the new window, but this file never open (always show me loading icon).

Hello Rabin,
You would need to add the rating property to the list of 'Displayed Properties' in the Collection Renderer used in the layoutset of this iview. You could also then add the rating property, cm_rating, to the 'Property for Sorting' parameter.

Search Articles in side Folio

Is there any possible solution to make custom library/storefront to have the ability to search and return a folio base on the content inside each of the articles of all the downloaded or none downloaded folio in the library ?
I've explored custom library API and custom store API none of which allows or get any close to try to make each articles inside a folio indexable and searchable.
Any clue ?

Sotheby's folios have our search within them.
If you checkout AdWeek, you can search for content in the issue. For instance, if you type in Newsweek you'll get the Oct 12 issue that featured a story on them. From within the Portico Admin, you can setup what content is searchable from Folio metadata to all the text if you wish.

How to create hyperlink inside Folio to Viewer library?

Wanting to add a link inside my folio that when tapped, takes the user into the Apps Viewer Library.
Example would be a subscription button on an article page inside the folio, when tapped opens up the Viewer library so that the users can see the subscription tile in the upper left-hand corner.
Food Network magazine has this example - image one: user taps the "Subscribe Today" button. Image two: Users gets redirected back into Viewer library.
How do I set this hyperlink up?

One way to do this is to create a button that points to the app's Optional URL Scheme. For example, the DPS Tips URL Scheme is "com.bringhurst.dpstips." When I create a button with a Go To URL action that specifies "com.bringhust.dpstips://" tapping the button opens the app's library. You can see an example of this in DPS Tips > Advanced Folios > Advanced Linking.

How to get the current folio from inside a folio with the reading sdk

Hi there,
I'm currently trying to get the current folio and its filter value within the reading sdk (custom Navigation).
In 2.31 there was a "ReadingService" with "currentfolio" (Adobe DPS - Reading SDK 2.31 : adobeDPS-ReadingService : JsDoc Reference).
However, in 2.32 this Service is gone. "Folio" itself exists tough.
My question is: How do I get the current folio and its filter?
I tried with adobeDPS.Folio / adobeDPS.Folio().filter and so on but getting nowhere.

Aah.. yes, you're right. And since I made a typo (writing adobdeDPS.Readingservice with an uppercase "r") I got an undefined and thought it was really gone
So... can confirm that adobeDPS.readingService.currentFolio actually works.

How much articles in a Folio?

Hi
Is there a limit in the amount of articles that a Folio can contain?
We are scheduling a new project and figures show that the folio may have thousands of articles.

Not really, but you will start to run into some performance problems. In particular, the larger number of articles you have, the longer it will take to open the folio when the reader taps on it from library view.
Thousands of articles is pretty big. Why so many?

What I do:
I create an empty frame in my InDesign document.
In the overlay creator I tell it to be a Web Content.
I select the HTML file containing above code.
I update the article in the Folio Builder and test it on the iPad.
The result is actually... nothing. The area in which the frame is, displays a small loading wheel and after that it's totally empty.
What am I doing wrong??

Hi All! Can I insert a link to a PDF file inside DPS .folio, as you can see in the Adobe app: "Adobe& higher education"?
How can I do that? I think it isn't a web content, what is it?

How to sort Data in XML template (rtf) file?

Hi, I have an oracle 11i custom report (rdf) with an xml output to a PDF. There is a formula column in the report. Now I need the data to be sorted on this formula column. As we cannot sort on formula column, i have decided to find a way to sort it in the data in the XML template. But I don't really know how to sort and also where to specify the sort tag in the rtf file. I appreciate your response.

As long as you don't have your ^field commands grouped inside a ^group the order in the .dat file is not important. Your last command
^field BG_DOC_LN__LN_AM

should populate field BG_DOC_LN_AM wherever you place it on your form. Obviously you need to name the fields according to your ^field commands and not just use tab (move to next field).

How to Sort Dimension in Pivot Table via Order Column which is changing like Factual values

Recently in of our product offerings we got stuck on this following question:
How to Sort Dimension based on the Order Value which Keeps Changing with Factual Values??
We have a data source laid out as (example)
In the above the “Order” columns are changing per
Company/(DimensionA) for DimesnsionB.
Instead what we want is: (But only if we can get the following result without putting the “Order” Column in the “Values” Section.
If there are any configurations that we can make to our power pivot model for the similar data set so that the
DimesnionB in this case can be sorted by the Order column, would be greatly helpful to us.

According to your description, you need to sort dimension members in Pivot Table via order column, and you don't want the order column show on the Pivot table, right?
Based on my research, we can sort the data on the Pivot table based on one of the columns in that table, and we cannot sort the data based on the columns that not existed on the Pivot table. So in your scenario, to achieve your requirement, you can
add the column to pivot table and hide it.

Sort element inside JComboBox

Hi,
i have a JComboBox containing list of Strings
so lets say:
String[] test = {"omega", "alpha", "beta", "Arc"}
JComboBox testing = new JComboBox(test);
now is there a way to sort the elements inside the JComboBox once they have been inserted ? or anyone know how to sort the elements before putting them in inside JComboBox ?
the sample code was just for testing and I am dealing with MANY elements (at least 10) inside the JComboBox

How to sort files and folders like Windows

I don't know if this is specific to Arch or every other Linux distro but one thing that really bugs me in Arch is how files and folders are sorted. I use Windows as my main OS (don't start on that please) and I have one folder properly organized exactly as I want it and I like it how Windows sorts this. I access that same folder from my Arch installation, the problem is that the sorting is different and it gets on my nerves lol...
This is how Windows sorts that specific folder:

How to sort the data in JSP using stylesheet sorting?

Hi, i extracted data out in and display them <%=data%> in the jsp, but how to sort? do i have to provide a drop down list that gives different sorting options, and when user clicks on one option, say sort by title, the collection of results are sorted out on the same jsp page? so all in all, only one jsp page is needed or do i need to create xml files, etc?
i have no idea how to integrate the xml sorting into the jsp page, even after seeing online help, cos there is no example of a jsp page with sorting to refer to. PLease help, thanks alot!

I have executed ALV report in background and it is generated, But after generating the report comes in ALV LIST display. how to sort field of ALV List which is generated in background ?
