How to speed up my mac book pro

Ive noticed my mac is a bit sluggish lately when it comes to opening apps or loading pages on the web. I was wondering if there was anything i could do to help speed it up?

You may be confusing RAM with hard drive space. RAM are the modules inside the computer that offer temporary sotrage. The hard drive is permanent storage. If the hard drive is too full, that can slow the computer.
To check for a full hard drive, hightlight (single-click) your hard drive's icon on the Desktop, then do the keyboard combo command + i to get the numbers you need. You'll see something like this:
The number for "Available" should be at least 15-20 percent of the number for "Capacity." Otherwise the system is struggling to perform its memory management tasks.
Too may items on your Desktop can also slow performance. If you have over about 250 items, it could crash the computer. If you have a lot of stuff on the desktop, make a few new folders on the desktop and drag stuff to them. If you have 100 icons on your desktop (not counting the hard drive icon or those for optical sicks like CDs or DVDs) and and manage to drag everything into two folder, what was 100 becomes two.

Go to your "screen settings". then chose "find screen" then you vill find the prosjector.
this will probably fix your problem.

I do not know the iWire adapter, but I use an inexpensive ($3) DVI to HDMI adapter from Monoprice, along with a regular HDMI cable:

Be aware that this will only transfer video. You Macbook Pro cannot combine audio through DVI to HDMI. You will need to listen to the audio through the Mac speakers, or attach speakers or a sound system to the Mac earphone jack, or determine if your TV has the ability to accept external sound from the Mac while showing video through HDMI (few can). -

OT ~ We keep becoming more and more aware of how easy it is to lose one's bearings when it comes to keeping up with info tech. My husband and I are both official members of the geezer set and have been out of the work force for some years. You really do pick up so much just by being in the environment where people are using things to get work done. A couple of old MP3 players, PPC G5, and a vintage Inspiron 3800 that someone didn't want any more is about it. No cell phone, no iPod, no iPad, no home wireless network, no streaming media. Fixed income. So we do with what we can as long as we can. If we could get by without that Intel processor, we'd probably make do with what we've got. On the other hand, we've really wanted a notebook for a very long time and have to admit that needing to upgrade to accomodate my husband's project is pretty much just the "reason" we need. I really mean it when I say that we are beyond appreciative that users take the time to share info and patiently educate those of us who fall into the "slow tech" category. -

If you want to erase the disk, reinstall Mac OS X and your Mac didn't come with DVDs or you have OS X Mountain Lion or Lion:
1. Press Command and R keys while your Mac is starting.
2. Open Disk Utility, choose Macintosh HD in the sidebar and erase the drive.
3. Install Mac OS X.
If your Mac came with DVDs:
1. Insert the OS X DVD that came with the Mac and press C key while your Mac is starting.
2. Go to Utilities > Disk Utility, choose Macintosh HD in the sidebar and erase the drive.

try this;
open disk utility - verify disk permissions - repair disk permissions if errors are found. might take an hour or less - depending on how much errors needs to be repaired.
restart your macbook and see if that sorts it out for you.
also check your hard drive space. if your hard drive is almost full, that will also contribute to your macbook getting slower....

You can't. The KX-MB722 is one of the few remaining printers in the class of devices called "Windows Printers" that has no on-board printing software -- it relies on a host computer to provide all of the software functionality and Panasonic only provides such software for certain versions of Microsoft Windows. In this case, it means a 32-bit version of Microsoft Windows (2000-XP, though it will probably reliably on Windows versions up to 7). Note that these devices are not guaranteed compatible with future versions of Windows either (Panasonic has already dropped software support for this model).
I'm pretty sure that the device doesn't support remote printing without the software either (e.g., you can't setup a computer with Windows on it, share the printer, and then print to the shared printer without their software). -
