Yes. And there are various ways for doing this.
1. In the adapter engine while picking the flat file using option "Recordset per Message"
2. Using multi-mapping message split.
3. Using BPM loops.
The effectiveness would depend upon the size of message and no of records it contain. e.g. if the size is small, say only 20 records, then splitting the message in 20 parts would not be a good option. But if the size is too large with say thousands of messages, then splitting would turn out to be effective.

I have a single-file recording of a vinyl record (containing multiple sequential tracks) that I want to export to multiple separate tracks. Is it possible to take thisfile of audio, add markers to it and export that file from multitrack view into separate tracks? I know its possible to do it using markers and to export a CD list and the burning to CD, but can you export to multiple gapless WAV files instead, with the markers as track/split points?
I am not burning to CD, just wanting to keep the tracks as files.

Once you have added your markers and merged as for making a CD you can then use the Batch Process Marker Regions (next icon along from the Merge icon in Marker list) to save out the marked regions as individual files.

We have 2 BW Instances ( QW1 and CW1) running in the same physical server (windows 2003 + MSSQL). Now we want remove one Instance from the server completly. Could any one give steps or procudure which we should follow to remove one instance without disturbing another one. Both instances are Central Instances.

Hi Sridhar,
You can definitely remove an instance completey. When you select uninstall option using sapinst, it will give you a list of running instances on the node using profile files.
You can select which one to uninstall.

How can I force TestStand to create multiple instance of an activex server instead of share the same reference?

     I am trying to migrate a application coded by VC++ to TestStand+CVI. This application opens multiple serial com ports and send commands to test targets, and get responses from these targets. The VC++ application creates multiple thread, and every thread create an activeX server instance which is responsible for opening serial port,sending test commands ,and getting response. It works fine as every thread has itsown activeX instance, so data and commands can be handled in the right serial port successfully.
     Yet when I works on TestStand, I got problems. I choose parallel model as the process model. I create a activeX object reference with AxtiveX/COM Adapter, and store the reference in a sequence local varialbe. If there is only 1 testsocket, It is OK. But if there are multiple test sockets, and communication between the application and test targets will be directly to the last test target. I try to popup a message within a execution to indicate the value of the activeX object reference, and all of them are identical. But this is not the behavior I want.
    So, is it possible to force TestStand to create independent instances of an activeX server? How can I make it work?

      Yet I do get problems as none of us know how to program an activeX server so that it can be forced to be a single-instance or multiple-instance.
As I mentioned earlier, there is existing application which is written by VC++ can create multiple instances of this activeX server, all I have to do is to create multiple threads, and initiate an instance of this server to contrl multiple test targets.
     My colleague said he creates the server with VC++ ATL, and cofigure it to be dual-interface and STA. And in the VC++ application side(client side), I use smart-pointer in threads to create an instance of the server:
IMySerialServer pIMySerialServer;
  HRESULT hr = pIMySerialServer.CreateInstance("UUTCmd.MySerialServer");
  if(FAILED(hr))
   AfxMessageBox("Fail to create instance.");
And then I got multple instances of the activeX server. Every thread can have itsown com port, can send/receive commands indepently. I have no idea how can I make it work on TestStand. Would you show me some reference documents or sample codes?

Does anyone know if this is possible: How to SPLIT ONE STEREO TRACK'S L & R CHANNELS INTO TWO MONO CHANNELS? There's got to be a way, but I just can't find out how.
I recorded a podcast -- me and a guest, with each mic going to its own mono channel. When I opened it in Audition it mixed them into one stereo channel.

Siebel Instance Strategy – Single Instance or Multiple Instances – Advantag

Folks,
We are looking for any white papers on Siebel Instance Strategies. We currently have 5 Siebel individual instances deployed over last 10 years for different business.
Is it a good idea to merge all these instances into one?
May be merge to say 3 instances depending on the objects we are using?
What are the challenges, organization structure, field extensions, column extensions, workflows, what should be looking at?
To answer these questions are there any white papers? Any documentation on how to merge two or more production instances?

Do you need the multiple instances to communicate? If so, use the INI file settings and VI server to launch them into the same run time engine. These settings in your INI file may be of use.

Make sure you use a unique port number. Launch your main VIs by first using Open Application Reference with the port in your INI file and "localhost" as the machine name. Then use this application reference to open your main VI using Open VI Reference. Run it using the Run method with Wait Until Done set to FALSE and Autodispose Ref set to TRUE. Make sure it has its front panel open before you close your launcher or the LabVIEW runtime engine will close (since you have the VI ref, you can do a slow poll on the execution state or front panel open/closed properties).
Be careful with shared VIs. Reentrancy and VI templates are your friends.

How to split one video in 2 screens?

I have been trying to do this for a while but I can't find the way. Hopefully someone here will know how.
I want to be able to split one movie in 2 screens. The movie is panoramic format (1440 x 480). I have done it in the past but using DVD players and a syncronizer, which is complicated and expensive.
Using a computer, what tipically happens is that, for instance using QT, it asks you to use one or another screen, but it won't play in both.

This is easy with a picture, I would like to do the same with video. I have contacted that company and they advised me to talk to Apple saying is probably an issue with the video card.
I heard there is video cards for PC that will do it, does anyone knows of a card for the Mac?

If the projectors have VGA inputs you can use the Matrox DualHead2Go

It will make the two projectors appear to the computer as one wide screen projector. You connect it to the computer's DVI port with a DVI to VGA adapter.
If the projectors are set to 1024 x 768, the computer will see a 2048 x 768 display.

Can any one please guide me how to split a jspx into different frames.
i.e., left frame contains <af:panelSideBar> which contains multiple <af:commandMenuItem> s. And whenver we click on the one <af:commandMenuItem>, it has to show the corresponing page inside center frame in this page itself. Is it possible in ADF? Which component we need to use?
Can anyone guide me on this?

You can use a combination of the ADF Faces 10.1.3 components like:
af:panelPage
af:panelSideBar
af:panelHorizontal
af:panelGroup
to organize the screen layout, but it is not the interactive splitter that the 11g product provides.
