How to Standardize Phone Number in EDQ

Hi,
I am getting Home and Office phone numbers as string (Example value:16543243452). I need to convert this string value into US phone format like +1 654 324 3452.
Please suggest me the processor in EDQ can do this formatting.

Hi Moorthy,
I am very new to EDQ. You might want to try using 'Pattern Transform' from Tool Palette which worked for me. You will have to create a reference data with NNNNNNNNNNN as 'pattern' and +N NNN NNN NNNN as mapped-pattern'. Use this reference data with the 'Pattern Transform' and I think it should work.

Hi,
The presumption in the Linked article is that the Apple ID has been added to the iPhone before it is added elsewhere including the Mac version.
If you have not already done so then add the ID to the iPhone.
If after a few minutes the Mac version has not had the pop to say the iPhone is using it's Number and the Apple ID then restart the app on the Mac.

Hello, I am going to receive a new iPhone 4 to replace my old iPhone because my lock button of my old device isn't working. I was wondering as to how my phone number will be transferred to my new device? And do I have to reset my old phone before sending it back to the manufacturers? Thank you.

Before you do anything with your old phone, and when you rceive your new one, call Apple Support as you will have phone support with your new device. 800-692-7753 they should walk you thru poeting your old# to the new phone. I was not able to find anything that directly addresses this specifically in the database (does not mean it is not there, I couldn't find it)

How to merge phone number with imessage on 10.8.2

i updated to 10.8.2 and i had already been using imessage on 10.8.1 and before. i went to imessage and there is no option or alert or anything to add my phone number to it. i use the same apple id on my iphone and receive imessages at both my apple id email address and phone number. i have tried signing out, deleting all my messages, ive tried signing out restarting my macbook pro and signing back in, still nothing. any way to manually set it up or refresh the account?
update: i guess everyone says i need to update my iphone to ios6 first. i'm just going to wait for my iphone5 on friday to set this up as im not yet going to update to ios6 on my 4S

Well, try as I might, and despite the publicity and hype around this and 'It just works' for me it just doesn't. I updated the phone and ipad to IOS 6, MacBook to 10.8.2 and no matter what I do, how many log ins and outs the ipad and the Macbook ONLY give me the option to use one of two email addresses. No phone number option is anywhere to be seen. I did rather expect that I would just actvate imessage on the iphone and then do so on the ipad and macbook, merely having to select the number as the methof of contact, or even having it there as the default. Too much to ask I suppose!! I find I spend far more time trying to get Apple innovation to work than I ever did with Windows to be honest! I also tried entering the phone number many times and go many 'verification sent' only to receive squat.
Sick and tired of trying to fathom this now so I gues I'll just leave it off rather than find myself back in the days of imessage confusion where some would go to a phone, some to an email, messages only being visible on certain devices depending on where they were sent - all the things that made imessage a complete PITA and far more trouble than it was worth.
I hoped that maybe this would fix those problems. Maybe it will, when I can invest the time in digging around the internet trying to get it to 'just work'!

A phone number appears for Messages and FT on an iPod (and iPad) onoy if the some ID used for those services is also used on an iPhone. It use the iPhone's number.

Well, the only way I found is to reset iCloud Keychain entirely. Go to System Preferences->iCloud->Keychain, put in your password to your Apple ID, and click "Forgot code?" on the next screen. You'll be prompted to reset Keychain entirely, which you will have to do in order to change your number, unless you have AppleCare, in which case you can call them and have them set it up for you.

If you type in a number to place a Skype-Out call and then wish to add that number to your Skype Addresses, you right click the number that appears in the left column and select "Show Profile". The profile appears with a button in the upper right corner that says "Add Contact". If you click that button Skype automatically creates a contact and the default action is: the contact is created and given the phone number as its name (in the top section of the profile, weird, but can be edited by a click), and in the second section of the profile the same PHONE number appears and is automatically labeled "Skype". This number CANNOT BE EDITED. THIS IS THE PROBLEM!! If I right click the word "Skype" nothing happens. If I right click the phone number the option that appears is "Copy" which is not helpful for editing. If I right click the chat icon, nothing happens. If I click on "Add Number" which appears in blue under the telephone number that has been labeled "Skype" then I can add another number. This is no help though because I already have added the number I want!! P.S. I checked my Address Book and none of the numbers that I add in Skype appear in my address book - so that is NOT the way around this. Skype grabs numbers from the address book, but does not add anything in the opposite direction. That would be a real mess!

You need the carrier to imitate the port. You can't call Verizon and have it done.

Your welcome, in certain countries and some carriers, and or certain networks on older phones (not sure about the newer phones) there was some inovated ways to hide the # and there still might be someone somewhere who comes up with a way.
I know there is a App for phones that lets you change your #, someone can see that # but if they call you back you can change that # again, there are also Apps to block certain #'s, so a search on the Web might turn up something.
I hope if you find something it will be for good intent, and if you do please come back and tell us.

Thanks for reply, I am trying my application on T-mobile 8820. Your solution is good and it is working, But this solution requires manually enter phone number in Options -> Advanced Options -> Sim-Card -> Scroll Down -> MenuButton -> Edit SIM-Phonenumber.
Actully we don't want that user do these thing.
I tried to get phone number via sending sms to short code that returns phone number, But for CDMA there is problem for sending sms by using BB API (invoke method), Because this API restart the application.
Is there any other way to get phone number?
