How to start LSMW second time

Hi
i have created a lsmw with periodic processing option and it working fine.
if i want to upload the data second time where do i need to start.
ddo i need to open the project and object and create the session one more time and then process the session..
what is the procedure to start when we are doing second time
Thanks in advance
Kiran

Hi Kiran,
If You are using the same project,SP,Object. No issues. Run the LSMW from the first step, save all the steps. 7th step dont forget to give the new flat file for uploading. There will be a new BI session created and run the BI.

  • How to start a second X11 display from within X ?

    For a game i am playing (freespace2 open) i would like to run it on a second X11 virtual display.
    Following Fs2_open_on_Linux#fs2_open_freezes_X i am able to start second display with xinit -- :1 , but this only works from console.
    Also the method used there (copying the mit-magic-cookie) doesn't appear to be very user-friendly.
    So i have 2 questions :
    is there a way to give a user permanent permission to start a second display ?
    can starting a second display be done from within X ?

    Lone_Wolf wrote:
    I've checked and the change to xauth appears to be permanent as it was still present after a reboot and a cold start.
    I use KDE as wm/de , but start it from console with startx.
    I have no options for starting another session, possibly because i don't use kdm or another login manager.
    startx works from within kde , xinit works from console.
    Unfortunately fs2_open crashes with a segfault after switching back and forth between display 0 and display 1 a few times.
    When running fs_open on display 0 it never crashes.
    Sofar i've used startx -- :1 , xinit -- :1 and xinit /usr/bin/fs2-open -- :1 , and they all give the same problem.
    Thanks for the tips, i'll check them out.
    If you using kde, you could make life alot easier if you need multiple xsession by running kdm...
    I mean my system boots 21 second including starting KDM starting from xinittab... if I add it as a deamon in rc.conf it takes 36 seconds

  • ITunes wont start the second time

    Hi, I posted this problem before but probably because my subject title was a little wide nobody looked at it..
    This is my problem, I download iTunes install it everything works fine but after I close itunes or my computer when I want to start iTunes again it wont start???

    I have the exact same problem. I use Windows Vista SP1.
    iTunes.exe does show up in the task manager, but there is no way I can access it, because it doesn't show up.
    I had this problem since I installed the update to iTunes 8. I tried several times to completely uninstall it an reinstall it. Everytime it worked the first time, but failed the second time. Then I uninstalled agan and reinstalled iTunes 7. Same thing, worked first time, failed since then.
    Does anyone have an idea what the problem is ? There is no error message.
    Thanks in advance!

  • How to start a second labview programme automatically when first programme is aborted ?

    Hi,
    I have two independent labview programme. I want to run one programme at first. Second programme should start automatically if first programme is aborted by clicking abort button. Could you please help me in this regard.
    Thanks

    Would it not be better to close the meters when you close the application and have your application exit gracefully rather than having it start another one?
    (You can call an executable from within LabVIEW using the System Exec VI but I don't think you need that here)

  • How to start over with Time Machine (because drive is running out of space)

    I have a 500 gig drive attached to my iMac. Time Machine's been running for ages. TM has finally depleted the drive of most space. Should I throw out some of the older folders in the backup folder for TM, or chuck the entire folder and restart TM fresh. (Nothing terribly crucial to save recently.)
    Thanks.

    Unfotunately my time machine backup gets to near the end and says "there is not enough space to do this backup" Neither excluding files nor waiting for it to kick out old files seems to solve the problem. I am stuck it would seem unless I erase the whole backup and start over. I didn't think I would have to do this.

  • Program not responding when starting the second time.

    I am currently only using the DASYLab program to find the temperatures recorded by nine different thermocouple wires.  On the Worksheet window, I can run the program once with everything running perfectly.  If I stop the program and restart it again, it crashes.  If I go into the Layout window and try to run it at all, it will not respond on the first try.  This happens every time and it doesn't matter what measurement timebase I set it to.

    To accurately diagnose your problem, we need the following information. If you do not want to publically post it, you may request DASYLab support at www.dasylab.com or www.mccdaq.com, or call Measurement Computing directly (US) at 508-946-5100.

  • How to start FrameMaker second development?

    We want to do based on secondary development of FrameMaker to complete the specific functional requirements.
    FDK-based development, if done, what kind of development tools?
    What kind of development language?
    Specific development process?

    Zhaopeng,
    To use the FDK out of the box, you have to use C, compiled with Visual C++ (Windows). You could probably wrap any other language around that (as some others have done), but you would have to be exceptionally smart. Much smarter than me, for sure, because I couldn't tell you the first thing about it.

  • Thread won't run a second time

    Using JDK 1.4.1 on a Windows 2000 box
    After a thread is created, started and completes, it is not possible to start the same thread object a second time.
    I'm not sure what's going on here. It seems that a thread pool implementation could never work if what I've found is true. This seems unlikely, but my test program is very simple. If you run it you will notice that run() is called after the first start(), but not after the second. The isAlive() state returns false as expected after the join(), so it appears the thread has finished executing. I've tried sleeping in various ways waiting for the thread to start the second time, but it never starts.
    public class ThreadTest
        private static class MyThread extends Thread
            final public void run()
                System.out.println( "run() called" );
        private static void testThreadRestart()
            for ( int i = 0; i < 10; i++ )
                System.out.println( i );
                try
                    MyThread thread = new MyThread();
                    System.out.println( "start() called 1" );
                    thread.start();
                    thread.join();
                    System.out.println( "thread.isAlive() = " + thread.isAlive());
                    //Thread.sleep( 60000 );
                    System.out.println( "start() called 2" );
                    thread.start();
                    thread.join();
                    System.out.println( "thread.isAlive() = " + thread.isAlive());
                    // Try a sleep loop to wait for the thread to start.
                    for ( int j = 0; j < 1000; j++ )
                        Thread.sleep( 1 );
                    //Thread.sleep( 60000 );
                catch ( InterruptedException e )
                    // do nothing
        public static void main( String[] args )
            testThreadRestart();
    }

    I found the following information in "Concurrent Programming in Java" 2nd Edition, by Doug Lea.
    "Threads are not restartable, even after they terminate. Invoking start more than once results in an InvalidThreadStateException."
    The first part seems to be true, but the second part is only true if the thread is still alive. Once the thread completes, calling start() a second time results in no exception and no action.
    I did not find any such information in Sun's documentation.
    Apparently a thread pool implementation relies on threads that never "finish". That is the thread object never exits the run() method, but employs a mechanism by which it accepts new tasks, executes them. When the task completes, the thread's run() method loops and waits for a new task. run() is never exited.

  • Debugger starts allways one times

    Hi
    I have read many hours and many articles but i cannot find the problem. I think it is with the Ports but for me it seems that all settings are correct.
    In CF Administrator is Port 5005 and Line Debug is activated. The JVM Arguments are as decriped in many articles and in the help. The Firewall does not blocks Port 5005 (and I have tried with deactivated).
    I can start the debug in CF Builder one time only correctly. When I will start a second time the debugger hangs and says cannot connect to RDS Server, (Unable to connectto RDS Server) but the RDS runs correctly as I can see in my databases, RDS Dataview shows all databases correctly at the same time.
    I am greatfull for any ideas.
    Regards Roger

    Yes CF9 with Update 9.0.1, Standalone on Win64 with IIS. Istalled on the default locations.
    According to your questions I came to the solution that the problem was in CF server and not in CF Builder. I have completely deinstalled and reinstalled the CF server and it works well now.
    Thank you for your assistance I am happy.

  • I'm trying to set up a DAQ assist just to measure some voltage, how do i get the graph to start from 0 (time) every time I press run

    Hi all,
    I am trying to set up a simple DAQ assist to measure some voltages (currently a 9 volt battery to aid set up), when choosing to use a waveform chart to log the voltages the graph doesnt start from 0 (time seconds) how do I do this and get it to reset every time I press run or even stop.
    What I want to see at the end is a chart for the full lenght of the test showing voltage against time in seconds.
    Any ideas peeps
    many thanks
    Shane

    Hi Shane,
    Look at this VI
    Here, I clear the chart before running the VI, using a 'history data' property node ( i pass an empty array to clear it)
    In effect, each time you run the VI, the chart will begin at 0:00
    Hope this helps

  • How do you set a start and end time based on changes in data averages?

    I am making a VI to collect data from a calorimeter that will detect automatically when I have triggered the combustion by recognizing a rise in the average temperature, and then will record data from that point until it the temperature rise stops or plateaus. I have worked out how to average my data, how to write it to a file, etc. but I don't know what the best way to construct my VI to automatically respond to changes in the average would be. It seems to me that there are a number of ways to do this, but I am fairly inexperienced with LABView and don't know which is best.
    Does anyone have any ideas, specific advice, or general thoughts about using fluctuations in data averages to set start and stop times for a VI?

    Lynn,
    All great points - thank you for your thoughts. You are right, I am interested in selecting a subset of my data in which the temperature is rising, not setting start and stop times.
    I realize that it is difficult to give concrete advice without more information, but I'm hoping that with some clarification on my part you might be able to give a few suggestions. The calorimeter I am working with is a microbomb calorimeter, which combusts small, dry biological samples in a pressurized, oxygen environment, and it does not have a water tank or other components on other bomb calorimeters. The data I am recording is mV signal from a thermocouple ring that the microbomb rests in. To directly answer your questions, I would say I am measuring detonations, or more specifically the electrical potential generated in the thermocouple due to the temperature increase of the stainless steel bomb. The data is fairly noisy, so I have previously been averaging every 1000 data points together in order to observe the temperature increase clearly.
    The only plateau in the data that I have observed that I need to deal with is at the peak of the temperature increase, when I would like to put my second timestamp/end my data subset. There is a slight lag time due to the rate that the steel heats at, so the entire measurement can take 30-40 seconds even though the combustion occurs in seconds. What I would like to do is have my VI observe and respond to the averages that it is already making, and then by some means, like an increase/decrease beyond one or two standard deviations, for example, and then set the datapoint before the increase as Time 0. Then I would like to identify the end of the temperature increase/end of the datasubset by similar means as the increase levels off. Finally, I want to integrate the curve of the increase and display the integrated value for my users.
    I would appreciate any thoughts. I don't have any raw data to share, but I do have a TDMS of the averaged data from a calibration test I did combusting benzoic acid. I'm not sure how much it will help, but I'll attach it regardless.
    Thanks,
    ~nat

  • First Java Web Start download doesn't update, second time does

    I'm using Java Web Start with our application. This release we upgraded to java 1.5 from 1.4. Now I have a few PCs, not all, that do not get updates the first time they launch the application. But when the launch it the second time they get the download. The jnlp didn't change between releases? Any suggestions? I'm not using lazy loads, in fact I'm using the default which should be eager.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
    I have similar situation. At the machine is installed Java 1.6 u1. Setup first version of application. After deploy second version of application and run application start update, but console show that application use old packages. At the same time main package is uploaded? I'd try to use <update check="always"?> but there are no positive result.
    At the same time then installed Java 1.6 u2, all works fine.
    Any suggestion, how it could be resolved, without Java 1.6 u2 installation?

  • How to execute f.07 second time

    hi all,
    i am trying to do f.07 second time.but it says 'no changes need to be made'
    how to do this.
    thanks,
    kumar

    Please read the F1 help:
    SAP recommends that the program is run at the beginning of the new fiscal year. If the program is already run at the end of the last fiscal year, postings which are posted after this to the last fiscal year, do not result in automatic adjustment of the balance carried forward because it is not a "posting to a previous year". In such a case, it is necessary t let the program run again after these postings to carry forward the postings entered later.
    The program can be started as often as desired.
    Nevertheless, you can post to the new year if the program has not yet run. When posting, the accounts, however, with a balance carried forward of greater than zero are opened. Postings in the previous year do increase this balance carried forward, but do not carry forward the total of the items already posted in the old year to the new year; the balance carried forward only has the items posted by the new year into the previous year, but not the items posted in the previous year itself.
    Regards,
    Ravi
