  • How to start Photoshop CC on Creative Cloud

I dont know how to start photoshop cc on creative cloud..

    @miilktea123,
First, remember that you don't start Photoshop CC _on_ Creative Cloud, you install Photoshop on your machine via the Creative Cloud app. To do this:
    1) Go to http://creative.adobe.com
    2) Click the Download Center tab if it's not already selected
    3) Locate Photoshop and click Download
    4) The Photoshop product page displays
    5) Click Download again
    6) If it's not already installed, the Creative Cloud app is first installed (and you may be prompted to allow the Creative Cloud app installation)
    7) Once installed the Creative Cloud app downloads and installs Photoshop (again, you may be prompted to allow Photoshop to be installed)
    8) From then on, just treat it like any other app running on your computer
Installing the Creative Cloud app the first time is a bit of a nuisance, but I have to say that managing/downloading/installing apps via the Creative Cloud app is one of my favorite features of Adobe Creative Cloud.
These instructions assume that you already had a Creative Cloud subscription or have established a Creative Cloud trial account.
Let me know how it goes,

  • How to start Photoshop Elements programme?

How to start Photoshop Elements programme? The feilure message is - The action you have requested could not be completed because the application is not responding. It may still be loading or waiting for a response from you.

The download assistant is just to help you download PSE. However, downloading is not installing. Look for the actual PSE file, which will be ins some kind of compressed format. In windows, right-click it and choose Extract All. On a mac, double click the .dmg file to mount it, then double click the mounted file to see its contents.

  • How to start Photoshop CC

    Hello,
I have purchased Photoshop CC, I have installed it, and it the app appears in Creative Cloud as installed, but I cannot find the way to open the program.
Photoshop doesn't appear in the Applications of my mac, and I don't find it anyway.
How am I supposed to start the program?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Philouti and Akshai78 please see CC desktop lists applications as "Up to Date" when not installed - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/aam-lists-removed-apps-date.html for information on how to reinstall Adobe applications which are listed as installed.
In addition I would recommend reviewing Launch CC apps after install - https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/launch-creative-cloud-apps.html which discusses how to open your Adobe Creative applications, included with your membership, after you install.

  • How to start Photoshop CC? (and why is Lightroom hiding?)

    Hello.
I've just become a subscriber (Photoshop cc and Lightroom).
Having downloaded Photoshop cc through the menu bar-app, I can not seem to find the launch button anywhere. Not on my desktop or in the launchpad menu on my macbook pro (10.9.1)
All I see in the cc menu, is that Photoshop cc is up to date. That's wonderful. But how do I launch it?
Also, I am paying for Lightroom as well, yet it doesn't appear in the app list. I then tried to get it on the website, but it redirects to the cc menu bar app.
A little notch in the right directing would be appreciated.
    Regards
    Kenneth

  • When I start Photoshop Elements within Aperture 3, my image is flattened.  How can I correct this?

Just installed Aperture 3 last week.
    1) I imported all my images from iPhoto.
    2) I downloaded a plug-in for Aperture, "Burn to Disc" and it seems to work well.
When I start Photoshop Elements 9 within Aperture 3, my very large file is flattened and of course all layers are gone.
How can I open my PSD files in Aperture 3 complete with layers?
Read the Aperture Manual, checked the discussion groups and remain stumped.  I'd greatly appreciate any help.  Thanks in advance.

Thank you so much for your reply.  Using Photoshop and saving the files within Aperture was a major reason for getting this software.  But Photoshop without layers is taking the heart out of the beast.   Thanks again for your reply.

  • Is there an instruction sheet detailing how to install Photoshop Elements 13 (from a DVD disk), on a Windows 8.1 computer, and if so, where do I find it

Is there an instruction sheet detailing how to install Photoshop Elements 13 (from a DVD disk), on a Windows 8.1 computer, and if so, where do I find it?

Googled for an instruction sheet.  Got the following.
    https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/getting-started/install-pse.html
    and
    https;//helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/kb/photoshop-elements-installation-errors.html
(Don't know why the second one didn't turn into a link, that's the url that printed out at the bottom of the page)
In any case it doesn't matter.  I returned it to the store where I bought it.
Rule #1; Don't use a product if the people who produce that product (software, hardware, etc.) don't properly support it.
User forums and\or chat lines, are useful and may help.  But!  They do not constitute proper support (not for installation purposes anyway).

  • How to launch photoshop action?

I'm writing a Bridge CS3 script to generate a web gallery. The user selects some files and starts the script through a context menu item. The script iterates through the selection list a couple of times, writes files, etc.
As the final step, I need to start Photoshop CS3 and run an action on the set of selected files--as if I had picked Tools/Photoshop/Batch... from the Bridge menus but with the action specified so the user does not have to go through the action dialog in Photoshop. After starting the action, the Bridge script is complete and can quit while Photoshop does its batch processing.
The Photoshop action contains mostly "fit image..." and sharpening steps. It also contains some simple scripts, mostly simple "save as" types of operations.
I'm uncertain how to do this. Is this where BridgeTalk must be used? Can anyone direct me to a sample script that does something simple like this?
Is there any problem with having scripts within the action? Some messages I've seen suggest there is, but I'm not certain I'm interpreting them correctly, or whether they apply to CS3.
    Thanks.

Yes. You would have some Bridge JS call some PS JS which would, in turn, call
    your Batch/Action.
    > Can anyone direct me to a sample script that does something simple like this?
You might want to take a look at the Bridge SDK, if you haven't already. There
are several examples using BridgeTalk. And also look at the code in Common
Files/Adobe/Startup Scripts CS3 to see how Adobe implemented the Bridge
Tools->Photoshop functionality. It's a bit difficult to follow in places but
what you really want to look at is the photoshop10.runActionCommand function in
photoshop-10.jsx. It's one way of calling PS actions from Bridge and it's also
what I use in my code.

    > Is there any problem with having scripts within the action?
CS3 has apparently addressed this issue but I can't say from personal experience
that it works. However, this was not possible at all in CS2 unless you went to
    really extreme measures.

  • Error report when trying to start Photoshop Elements 11

    Hello.
I bought the student version of Photoshop Elements 11 and Premiere Elements 11 recently. Premiere Elements works fine, but since 6 weeks, I keep getting an error report, whenever I want to start Photoshop Elements.
"Photoshop Elements cannot start or continue because of missing file(s). Please reinstall."
I tried deinstalling and reinstalling the programme for five times already, but I still get the error report.
Please, could somebody help me, because I'm getting really desperate now and I don't know what to do.
    Best Regards,
    Sophie Grossalber
P.S.: I have a laptop, that runs with Windows 7.

Sophie can you please check your installation logs to see if an error occurs during the installation process.  Please see Troubleshoot install using logs | Elements - http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/kb/troubleshoot-install-using-logs-elements.html for information on how to locate and interpret the installation log files.  You are welcome to post any specific errors which you receive to this discussion.
