How to stop a printer from printing a test page every time we turn it on

We have an HP Photosmart C3180 All-In-One. We are using it with an I-Mac. For some reason, whenever we turn the printer on now, it runs a black-and-white test. This has never happened before. How do we get it to stop?

I would like the PSC 1510 to NOT print up a test page automatically every time I turn the printer on. I don't do a great deal of printing, so I don't want to waste paper by having an extra page printed up evry time I want to just print up a couple of pages. Is there a way to disable this test page at startup?

HP 1350V prints a test page every time it is turned on.

This started after changing both ink cartridges.

Yes, It did it with the computer off, and unplugged from the printer.
I have gone through the scan the alignment page for the third time now, and it appears to have finally decided to work as it should.

I have cut paste the code from my jsp which is working. There is one additional line. I do not know if that is the cause but there is no harm in trying that out.

works ok on mine - (5, 7.1.1). Try again. with previews set to none, mine shows the sender and the subject line only. (you cannot get rid of the subject) with the other settings, you get the sender, subject line and however many lines you selected.

Try this - Assumes Windows 7 (you didn't say what OS your are using):
Turn Off the printer.
Start > search / type, then click on "Control Panel" > icon view > Administrative Tools >
Services > Click on "Name" to sort by name > Scroll down, look for "Print spooler" > Stop
Leave that Services window open...
Open a Windows Explorer window:
Start > search / type, then click on "Windows Explorer" > type / paste in the title bar (to the right of the <--> arrows C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS
Alternatively, you can poke at each folder name (Windows > System32...) until you get to the folder named PRINTERS
Remove (delete) all the files you see in that folder directory.
(Highlight > Right-Click > Delete)
Go back to the Services window:
"Restart" the Print spooler service
NOTE: If you cannot stop / start the spoolsv service, try Right-Click on services and "Run as Administrator" to give you permission to control the services.
Unplug the printer, wait a bit (One minute), plug it back in...turn it on.
NOTE: There may be a buffer cache clear selection on the Printer - you could check on the front panel of the Printer Menu. Try this in the event that you cannot get to the outlet to unplug the printer OR try it in place of unplugging the printer. Choice.

Because the JList doesn't itself implement ListDataListener, so I can't pass the JList to the removeListDataListener() method.
Looking at the code, it seems that this listening is handled by some universal Handler class that is passed to the BasicListUI.
Tracing further through the code, the only way I could come up with to remove the JList's ListDataListener is to call its' UI's uninstallUI method: So my code would be like this: list.getUI().uninstallUI(list); that seems a bit extreme, but unless I get someone to provide me with a better way, I guess it's better than the hack that I was mentioning before.

How do I delete songs from my iPhone 5? Every time I try, it redownloads it immediately and won't let me remove it.

My iPhone 5 says I have 659 songs in my library, which I do NOT want. I have thousands of songs in my iTunes library, and the 659 refer to songs I have specifically purchased from iTunes and not my personal collection of physical albums that I have added to iTunes. I prefer my iPod to listen to music as I find the battery life on iPhones to be absolutely terrible. These 659 songs are taking up too much memory, I never wanted them to be on the phone in the first place and never had this problem until my phone was stolen and whilst sorting out the replacement model, the songs appeared in the new phone's music folder. They're all listed with the cloud and arrow download symbol next to them, it won't let me delete them from the phone unless I have clicked the little cloud symbol and downloaded them. Once they're downloaded, it lets me swipe to delete, then the song reappears.
Oddly, when I connect my iPhone to my computer, it states I only have 59 songs on my phone and all settings are set to manually allow me to manage what songs are on my iPhone 5 - ironic, considering it doesn't let me manage them at all. Yet, whenever I try to delete a song, whether it be connected to my computer or not, it automatically re-downloads it in a matter of seconds, refusing to allow me to delete it and hogging up much needed memory. I am honesty at my wit's end with this, any help would be hugely appreciated. I have tried all options listed in discussion groups thus far and NOTHING has worked - the phone just downloads the songs again.

Go to "setting" - then click "General" - then click "Usage" then wait for the apps to load, once loaded....click on "Video", and then delete the video file (do the same withe Music App).

It looks like you're trying to play a track bought from the iTunes store (or does it happen with other songs too?). Make sure you are logged in with the account the track was bought with.
