How to STOP Acrobat Pro DC popups?

I purchased Acrobat Pro in 2014. Now I keep getting Acrobat Pro DC popups. When I followed the instructions from the forum and clicked the button to "license" the software (that is already licensed), the number was not recognized.  How to stop popups?

Hey [email protected],
Since you are using an Acrobat license, you cannot use the same serial key to activate DC version.
Please refer the following link to disable those pop ups:
Lockable Settings
Hope that helps.

  • How to stop the Company Code popup window in MIRO!

    Hi,
When User logs in the system and enters into the MIRO transaction, he is asked to enter the Company Code first in order to proceed further. I know that once you enter the company code then the system does not ask it to enter again during that login, however, it will asks again whenever User login the system again!
Can someone tell that how to stop this Company Code popup window in MIRO, so that the system should not ask for the Comp Code whenever User logs in and enters into MIRO? I think there are some entries maintained in the User Master for this!
    Thanks.

    Hi,
It is Necessary for the user to enter the company code for which he need to process the Invoice.
First think is if the user knows ,that he is only going to do for one company code.then
    in the T code SU3.
    In the parameter TAB
you can make the Default value for the parameter ID BUK as your Comany Code value ( Eg 1000)
so that when ever the user does the MIRO ,it comes with that company code only.
and if he want to do for another comapany code ,he has to use the option of Switching the comapny code.
so this is user dependent and has to be made for all users.
Note .the above setting works only you have entered saved and logged off and log in again.
also ,this value gets defaulted you all the comapny codes in all screen.
    Hope so it helps.
    Regards
    Anjanna.

  • How to stop Acrobat from automatically opening created PDF?

This may be a question asked elsewhere, but my search didn't find it.
How can I stop Acrobat from automatically opening every PDF that I create in Adobe Reader?  I'm using using Acrobat 6.0 Pro.
Thanks for your help with this major annoyance!
    Cheers.

Adobe does not recommend Reader and Acrobat both be installed. They have strange interactions and can cause problems. If you do not have problems, you are lucky. Part of the problem is that they leave a part resident to enable quick opening. If it works for you, then fine. If you have some problems, you at least have an idea of what a prime candidate is for the error.

  • How to activate Acrobat Pro XI on a non persistant VDI desktop?

    Hi,
I installed Acrobat Pro XI on a Citrix XenDesktop non persistant environment. I used the customization wizard and all seems to work without any questions for activation, but... When I logon to the desktop I start Acrobat Pro XI and I don't have the "PRO" options enabled (like for example  PDF Portfolio). When I close the program and open it again I do have the PRO options so it looks like the program is activating online at the first startup of the program.
I don't think my users like to start a program then have to close it and start again to use the full options and it shouldn't be working like that.
Does somebody know how to fix this?
    Kind regards,
    Freek van Ekkendonk

When the user is logging on he gets a random desktop from the pool, al the virtual desktops have the same image. The registration has been done once on the master image. It could be that when the computer name changes to a random name in the pool the license gets expired because of the changed computername and then tries to activate again online.
I don't think I have a volume serial number and I don't use the off-line exception because I couldn't get it to work. Below is the error log.

  • How to stop acrobat from submitting a form?

I have a button with two actions on Mouse Up.

I tried "exit" with javascript but thats not the solution. I don't know good javascript so can someone point me to the right direction as to how to stop the form submission?

  • How to download Acrobat Pro to Surface? [was: download]

I have the cd for installing Acrobat Pro but would like to install it on my Surface which does not have a cd device. How do I do this?  Can I download?

    Hey Chad Wilson,
What OS are you using on your new system?
You might need to deactivate Acrobat from your old machine and then activate it on the new one with the same serial number.
Remember, if you own volume license of an Adobe product that is installed on a system at work (say), then you can install it on secondary computer at home (say) of the same platform.

  • How to license Acrobat Pro as a single product in Creative Cloud for teams.

We're just starting with Creative Cloud for teams and I have a question about purchasing it.
We seem to have the option to either add all the products or to license for a single product.
Since a lot of our users are only using Acrobat Pro we'd like to license only that, but when we add a single product license in our team Acrobat Pro is not in the list of applications.
    Any idea why?

    Hi,
No way to remove it yourself, you must contact the customer service and normally they will remove it without any problem .

  • How to get Acrobat Pro 7 to convert JPG's

    Hi
Im currently using Acrobat Pro 7 ver 7.0.0 on a Windows XP Pro SP3 machine. Lately Acrobat has been struggling to convert jpeg files into PDF resulting in blank pages with nothing on them. Usually, i would edit the jpeg in Elements 9 and then save. I right-click the file to bring up the convert option which then produces a blank PDF document.
The jpeg files are not that big, typically 1 to 3 MB's. I can run a conversion via the Adobe printer however i lose alot of quality.
    Any suggestions?

You can change the job options settings so that you loose no quality at all. You shouldn't be using 7.0.0, but should upgrade to 7.1.4 using the files that can be found here: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=1&platform=Windows. What happens if you use File->Open in Acrobat to convert your jpgs to pdf?

  • Stop acrobat Pro 9 from asking to upgrade to 10?

We have adobe reader 9 and acrobat pro 9 installed on our systems with the updates on. We would like to keep version 9 updated, but we do not want to update to 10 yet. So far everything has been fine. Updates have been working and sticking to version 9.
The other day a user got prompted to upgrade to version X when they where converting a file to to a PDF. We do not want users upgrading to X, is there any way to block this?
Here's an image of the popup

Quick update for those that are having the same problem thi sis what I did to solve it.
Since this was a fresh install I hadn't opened Safari before attempting the upgrade.  So I opened Safari.  I then opened Acrobat and it indicated that a Safari pluging wasn't loaded properly.  I loaded the plugin. Exited both applications then reopened Adobe and ran the update and it worked.

  • Stop Acrobat Pro-Start up on Download

Every time I download a PDF file, Acrobat 6.0.2 Professional automatically starts up. I'd like to disable this.
I use Preview to read or print these files.
No need for Acrobat Pro right now.
The Get Info window is set to open PDFs w/ Preview, but Acrobat Pro always starts up.
    Very annoying.
    Thanks,
    KenK

You have, if I understand the situation correctly, a couple of options:
    1) you can turn off the option in most browsers to open "safe" files on download. In Safari, if that's what you use, it's a checkbox in Safari's General preferences. Then the downloaded document should not be opened automatically.
    2) you can change the application which by default opens a PDF. Click on a representative file, Get Info (Command-I or under the File menu), go to the Open With.. section, select Preview as application to open the files, and click the Change All button.
    Hope this helps.
