How to stop auto download of SD versions of TV shows?

I buy lots of TV shows from the iTunes store and everything I watch on my laptop is in HD. However, iTunes INSISTS on downloading both the HD and SD versions of every episode. And even if I pause and delete the SD downloads, as soon as I buy a new program iTunes starts downloading ALL SD versions of every show that exists on my hard drive. So at this point it means I have to go in an pause/delete dozens and dozens of SD downloads of shows that I have already watched!
How can I tell iTunes to ONLY download the HD version? Help!

To the best of my knowledge, there is no way to prevent the automatic downloading of the SD version when you buy an HD show.
You can, if you wish, suggest that the ability to prevent the SD version from downloading through the iTunes feedback page. But since the SD version is needed for use on iPods and there at least at present is no mechanism for someone to download the SD version at a later time should they decide they need it, Apple may just continue to force the downloading of both versions. If they get enough feedback on the issue, though, they may figure something out.

I have never heard of the app store automatically downloading apps if the user did not initiate the download by entering their password first. Sign out of your account and that should stop it.
If someone shares an Apple ID with you, then you might be seeing the downloads that they have purchased and that is why this happening - i f you have auto downloads turned on in Settings > Store > Automatic Downloads > Apps > On.

Mylenium's response is correct it is not possible to customize the installation package through the Creative Cloud Desktop application at this time. Also please be aware that depending on the software package not all functions or third-party plug-ins maybe functional in a 64-bit environment.

If it's available in SD, look on the left side a little ways down in the TV Show Preview Window. It should say In SD. Click on that and you should now have the SD pricing and version.

Well, you're not alone. The question is why is this happening? Since the referenced link shows the same type of problem with Yahoo finance, I suspect there is a coding problem on the site, specific to how Firefox is reading the code. Hi Dmirtiyter, I suspect that you have a windows computer and seems you have a 32 bit system and that's the only reason you are not getting a download option for Premiere Pro as its a 64 bit Program.

What are they downloading on (computer's iTunes, iOS device), and are they new purchases (e.g. did you have automatic downloads turned 'on' when bought them), or have you gone into the Purchased section and clicked/tapped on 'download all' ?

How do I manuallly download the latest version of Firefox on top of my current version?

I have an iMac version 10.7.5. I'm currently running Firefox Version 14 and I keep getting prompts to allow automatic updating (currently to version 17). However, when the prompt says "connecting to the update server," it never connects. So my questions are:
a.) Is there a way to correct this problem so that I can automatically update?
b.) If not, how do I update manually (I've found the Mozilla site's explanations incomplete/confusing.) Can I just download the latest version and it'll configure to what I already have, or do I need to delete my current version and reinstall completely? And what will happen to my settings (e.g. bookmarks) if I update on top of my current version, or update by completely replacing the current version?

If there are problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.

I only want it to download on my ipad and often it gets stuck and tries to download for days, even after I have tried to delete it or cancel it. I had an episode of the walking dead that tried to download for months and would get stuck, I would cancel it and delete it and still it would try. If there are multiple apps trying to download at once, only one can download at a time and the rest say "Waiting" until it is then their turn. Try this. Double tap the icon of the Waiting app, and it should resume the download.

Another thing to try - Turn the iPad Off & then back ON.
If that doesn't work:
• Log out of your iTunes store account. Go to Settings > Store > Sign Out Then press the Home button.
• Then press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously and don't release them when it brings up the Turn Off screen; keep holding them until the Apple logo appears.
• After restart, the Waiting should be gone.

It's been posted on here that users not interested in installing this software update are experiencing forced downloads. It's downloading the file, of which cannot be deleted. Waiting to be executed to install.
It does this when charging, connected to wifi

OP, the only way I've read that can stop it, is to not have enough space available. It needs about 2.9, so it's advised to keep your iPad full.
Or turn wifi off when chugging to a wall outlet
