How to stop facebook network notifications...urgent plzzz

hey
i have been receiving facebook notifications, in the form network notification written on top of the screen from past many days ...these notifications are titled as network notifications....these notifications are neither in the form of messages or email and they disappear once i see them....i have not subscribed for any text notification on Facebook but still i am receiving these notification at odd times during night.....plzzzzz tell me how to stop these notification.....plzzz urgent....

To clarify, you are receiving emails from Facebook® stating they are a network notification? Would it be possible to have a screen shot of this email?
If the emails are not from Facebook, who is sending email?
Do you use the Facebook® for BlackBerry® smartphones application?

Open Calendar, Swipe from top down, select Manage and uncheck Facebook. I also hated the facebook notifcations,, I don't care about all the birthdays of my facebook contacts on my calendar.

I assume you mean the Forum watches. Right?
You can disable this notification mails in control panel of your user name. In forum you can see a box with your user name, e. g. Welcome, leanneg. Click on Your Control Panel > Your Watches.
There you can disable it! :)

How to stop failed delivery notifications generated by auto responder

Hi,
I set up an auto responder on my iCloud account and its generating hundreds of failed delivery notifications. How can I stop these? All the discussions I've found on this so far are relating to spammed accounts.
Problem is I have limited data whilst I am away and all these emails are going to use up my quota!
If you can help, I'd be very grateful..

How to STOP E-mail Notification

What are the steps to cancel E-mail notification?

I elected E-mail Notifications using an ID different from the one I am using now. I left that ID because after several weeks of use for some unknown reason I could not login. During the time I could login I elected E-mail Notifications. Using Customer Service>Support>Forums>PSE> and clicking on login/Register my screen turns white and a crash occurs. Adobe Chat and tech support have not been able to help. It was suggested that I establish a NEW ID. Because I can not login using the OLD ID I can not click on Stop Notifications as you suggested. A possible work around would be to establish an e-mail rule to "Do not download from the server" and/or "Delete from server". I will try that and see what happens.

Change your settings on Facebook. Thunderbird receives email sent to you. It cannot control what is sent.

Have you restarted the Playbook since deleting it? Touch the battery icon at upper right > Restart.

How to stopped Facebook mail being blocked?

I will probably just take the BT email addy off the fb account anyway, but can anyone please explain why every single email from Facebook is picked up by Windows Mail as spam and blocked, so I have to unblock each one? I have tried adding both the address and the domain to safe senders and that doesn't seem to work with these emails, although it does for any other emails that I don't want blocked? Thanks for any light anyone can shed?

if you are picking up your btinternet mail in windows live mail are you forwarding your btinternet mail and if so have you checked the spam settings in your btinternet mail account?

I tried with Firefox 4;5 and 6, same problem exist . I tried by active all add ons for facebook, same problem exist. If I use internet explorer , I don't find such problem with it.

Thanks a lot for your swift response. And sorry if it was a bit too hectic to go through my detailed query (which I did because it was misunderstood when I asked previously). As I've mentioned above, I was informed that updating to 5.0.1 would '''require''' me to '''delete''' the current version and then install the new one. And doing so will involve losing all my bookmarks. I guess I should have been more specific and detailed there. By losing, I didn't mean losing them forever. I'm aware that they're secured in some place and deleting and installing the software doesn't harm its existence. What I meant that if I install the new version, I'd have to delete the old one. And after installing the new version, I'd have to transfer them (bookmarks) back from wherever they are. Get it? When it updated from 3.6.9 to 3.6.13, and from 3.6.13 to 3.6.18, I didn't need to follow that process. They were already present on their own.
BTW, I'm having no problems with 3.6.18 but after learning about the existence of version 5.0.1, I'm a bit too eager to lay my hands over it.

Hmmm that's strange TopDiver. Let's get to the bottom of this. Have you checked the notification settings on the device? To verify the notification setting on the device click on menu>settings>sound>notification sound, then test device notifications.
