How to stop illustrator from crashing?

Illustrator was working fine for me all morning, but today for some reason whenever I go to move an object it just crashes. Any object it will just crash and shut shown. I'm working on a MacBook Pro. I really need it to work again.

How to stop ManagedClient from crashing my MBP when in sleep mode?

Since upgrading my Early 2011 MBP to Mavericks (now 10.9.1) it has a tendency to crash while in sleep mode.
By "crash" I mean very loud fan activity - disturbing especially during night time.
Sometimes the crash is so serious that when I click the trackpad to re-activate the screen, all I get is a grey screen with a mouse pointer. All I can do is a hard restart using the power buttion.
At other times it lets me log-in again, and Activity Monitors shows multiple instances of a process called ManagedClient, around five of them, each of them using high amounts of CPU. Killing the ManagedClient processes brings the MBP back to normal operation.
I guess that "ManagedClient" has a function in company networks or in conjunction with a Mac server. In my network is neither a server nor other MBPs, so I don't understand what the use of ManagedClient would be for me.
I already used Disc Utility to repair permissions, repair disc, and repair partition map - no change.
Furthermore I did a complete re-install of Mavericks over the internet using the Recovery Mode, problem persists.
When I search Console for "ManagedClient" after a soft crash (a crash where I can still log-in an kill the ManagedClient instances), I get a lot of entries like this:

How to stop apps from crashing upon opening or crashing while in use?

Some apps when i open them they either crash write away or after a few seconds. Also some apps only crash when i go on certain parts of them, for example when i try to upload a picture on instagram it crashes but if im just browsing others pictures its fine :/

How to stop Illustrator from rounding corners of my shapes using brush tool

Trying to draw a skull eye but everytime I finish the shape, Illustrator rounds the corners into s semi-circle. Arrggh!! I am sure there is a setting I have been unable to find that could rectify this. Can someone please direct me to where this is? Im using CS6. Thanks in advance.

The typical brush tool with default settings and there was also a brush called lineart. This is partly tied to my last question I posted where sketeches werent coming out the way I wanted. The shapes are being "auto-rounded" as soon as I finish the shape.

How do I stop Firefox from crashing? It crashes at various times, not when loading any specific pages.

My crash problem has been going on for week, now. I tried uninstalling FF and reinstalling it. I hoped that would fix the problem, but it didn't. Crashes occur randomly, when loading or reloading pages but they are NOT specific pages. The Report ID listed below is just 1 of several reports from the past week.

I am unwilling to attempt navigation away from these sites. The pop-ups that occur on the attempt to leave a site or to close the browser are exit traps offering incentive to stay.
Once upon a time, when the internet was less dangerous, I would be willing to close the exit pop-ups. Now, after twice being infected with malware trying to close the pop-ups, I now force close whichever browser I am using.
Recently, I clicked on the red X to close one pop-up, and it installed a trojan that I had to pay to be removed. When I clicked on 'Leave' in another exit pop, it didn't exit and it turned out I was giving permission to run a script file. Now that criminals have learned these exit pop-ups can be used to force a click action, the sites using them have become dangerous.
If I force the browser to close using Task manager, Please tell me how to stop FireFox from sending me directly back to the same site because it mistakenly believes it crashed when it did not. I forced it to close because I was on a site that had taken control of my browser and was not allowing me to leave the site.
No other browser sends me back to the potentially dangerous sites. I prefer Firefox, but the new version must have a setting that allows me to get safely away from a problem site?

Can I close all layers? or even better, stop illustrator from opening all layers when I open a file?

I just installed cs6, and when I open files in Illustrator, it opens all of the layers which contain sublayers. It does this even if all the top-level layers were closed during the previous save. The files I work with have a large layer-structure, so re-closing the top-level layers every time I open a file wastes a lot of my time. Can I close all layers at once, or better yet, can I stop Illustrator from opening all of the layers automatically when I load a file?
If not, then WHY on earth not? I can't be the only one who opens and closes large files with lots of layers and sub-layers...

Edit: I also am noticing this problem is even worse in cs6, because openning and closing individual layers plays a little animation of rotating the triangular arrow before the layer which, cute as it may be, just makes the task of individually closing up all my layers that much more tedious. You can save it as a pdf and when you open that in AI the layers will not be opened even if they have sublayers.
Not true. Does the same nonsense an .AI file does. Saved as a .PDF, closed Layers/subgroups get opened.

I do. Every other Adobe program with a layering sceme seems to be able to remember that you saved a file with all layers and subs closed. But not this one.
Maybe someone from the AI development team should ask someone from the Photoshop team how they've managed it.....for decades.

They would only be where you put them. What program did you use to import them? Pics/vids taken with ipod are not part of the sync process at all. You should be importing them just as you would with any digital camera.
If you did not import them, then they are not on your computer.

I would strongly advise you not to let it sit in the Inbox.
When you see this happening, try right-click on the affected folder, select '''Properties''' then '''Repair Folder'''.
Large folders (actually, a folder in Thunderbird is stored as a file, so it is sensitive to file size limits set by the underlying file system) can be problematic. This is one reason not to let messages collect in one folder. You need to find and delete (move to the Trash) the offline mail cache (.offline cache.) It's a hidden folder (files and folders with a preceding dot are hidden) inside the Mail folder (inside IMAP) in your user library. Since it's hidden, in order to see it run the following command in Terminal in Applications>Utilities. Hit return/enter once you have pasted in the command.

To reverse this and hide all those hidden files and folders again
