How to stop loop in Revolutions Theme

I wish to stop the looping of the theme in Revolution, I have got to the resources folder and used PlistEdit Pro and found some looping text but would like help as not sure which to alter. I want the theme to run for one minute and then stop. Do hope someone can help.

As far as I know, there is no way to have the music just stop playing when it reaches the end. There is the ability to turn looping on or off, but that refers to an entire project, not menu music. You can adjust the length of the loop. To get music that plays for one minute, select a piece that has a duration of one minute or more. Drag that song into the audio well of the menu. Then use the slider to adjust for how long you want it to play. However, once the end of the music is reached, it will start over.

Please bear with me, as I am extremley new to this ( i.e, I started yesterday).

Everything worked fine, and I followed it exactly ( except, four frames rather than three). When I was finished, I went to Test Movie. Unfortunatley, instead of me being able to click the buttons, all the frames just kept looping themselves over and over. Yes, I did use the stop(); command, as I used the exact code in that tutorial ( I even tested in on a new frame next to the others) but it still won't work. Help?

Alright, let me rephrase.
When I click Test, instead of being able to press the button, the frames just go through each other too quickly for me to be able to click the button. I did as you suggested and made a new file, and created another completly different button. When I went under Control, Test Movie, and Text, that frame also kept looping itself, even though it was only one frame ( meaning the frame kept flashing). But, when I move the mouse over it and click, it changes color like I had written it too. I assume that's what you mean by normal mouse behavior, right? I just want to know why the frames keep playing, without me pressing the button.

I do not want my swf to loop and when I go to last frame and
put stop(); in the action script, the movie now doesnt play at all
when opening.

How to stop looping?

Forgive me but I am JUST learning. I have created a small
animation and I can't seem to stop it from looping. When I
published it, I went into settings and unchecked the loop box in
the HTML part and then saved it. When I open Internet Explorer and
go to file and open the HTML file it is just fine. But when I try
to place the file (.swf extension) into a page in Dreamweaver and
then preview, it keeps looping.
What am I doing wrong? Thanks!

it is always better to place stop(); whenever you want the
movie to stop.
The parameter "loop" won't always work, it pretty much vary
depends on
what browser you playing the movie in.

How to stop while loop

I can't figure out how to stop a while loop in my labview program.
When the user presses the Run arrow in the toolbar I want my program to begin reading the serial port for GPS messages. These messages should be displayed on the front panel. Currently I have this read/display in a while loop. The program is also waiting for an extrenal trigger. When that trigger arrives, I want to grab the current string from the serial port and save it and continue reading and displaying the serial/gps string. This trigger starts the other parts of the program- signal generation, recording, and saving data which need to run concurrently with the serial/gps reading/displaying. Once the AO and AI have finished and the data have been written to disk, I want the program to stop. The serial/gps messages should be updating this whole time. Only when the data are written to disk should the whole program end. This whole sequence of events should only be done once when the user preses the Run arrow.
So far I'm unable to pluck the serial string when the trigger comes in if I'm watching the serial port all the time. The program also doesn't stop when it finishes writing to disk because the read serial while loop is still running. I don't want to use a front panel stop button. The program should stop itself when the data havebeen written.
I'm really stumped on this one but I'm new to LabVIEW so I'm sure there's an easy solution to this.

Dennis and altenbach- Thank you both for your patience.
I was trying to do just what Dennis suggested-"As I said, setting a local variable is one way." even before posting to this forum, but I couldn't get my local variables to reflect changes made elsewhere in the program and I wasn't able to wire from them because they were writes. The critical part I was missing was how to change a local variable from a write to a read. It was staring me in the face the whole time- just right click. When I finally found it, my problems were solved.
altenbach- thank's for putting the figures together. I do understand the logic and wiring there, but I was really trying to avoid stop buttons. The program should be smart enough to figure out when to stop. And using local variables turns out to be one way of solving this. I still have some clean up to do, but I've included my current working version just so you can see how I implimented your suggestions. There's still a lot of clean up to be done, but I'm delighted to be able to watch the serial/gps messages until I'm done reading in data. At first I had this stop variable set in the final sequence frame. That didn't work because I wasn't getting to the final frame because the loop wasn't finishing. Once I placed the stop variable in the same frame as the while loop it began stopping when it should.
If you have other comments/critiques about the wiring diagram I'm earger to hear them. I'm considering the structure finished, however. It still needs cleaning up and commenting, but I'm satisfied with the functionality.

This "original file cannot be found" thing happens if the file is no longer where iTunes expects to find it. Possible causes are that you or some third party tool has moved, renamed or deleted the file, or that the drive it lives on has had a change of drive letter. It is also possible that iTunes has changed from expecting the files to be in the pre-iTunes 9 layout to post-iTunes 9 layout,or vice-versa, and so is looking in slightly the wrong place.
Select a track with an exclamation mark, use Ctrl-I to get info, then cancel when asked to try to locate the track. Look on the summary tab for the location that iTunes thinks the file should be. Now take a look around your hard drive(s). Hopefully you can locate the track in question. If a section of your library has simply been moved, or a drive letter has changed, it should be possible to reverse the actions.
Alternatively, as long as you can find a location holding the missing files, then you should be able to use my FindTracks script to reconnect them to iTunes .

QUARANTINED MAIL - WHERE DOES IT GO? HOW TO STOP ENDLESS LOOP?

A server has received a "phishing" message that was caught by the spam filter.
The user is now getting continuous messages advising them of this fact, which seem to be in some kind of "endless loop". The messages say:
Our internal reference code for this message is 06888-08.
The message has been quarantined as:
[email protected]
Where is this "quarantined" message at and how can it be accessed?

how viruses and spam are quarantined is defined along with many other settings you may want to customize in /etc/amavisd.com
You can clear your qurantine directory with:
sudo rm -rf /var/virusmails/*
If you don't want spam & virused quarantined to this directory, locate the following line in /etc/amavisd.conf and insert a # sign in front of it:
$QUARANTINEDIR = '/var/virusmails';
change to:
#$QUARANTINEDIR = '/var/virusmails';
stop/start mail service for you change to take effect.

How to stop while loop when a specified function is terminated?

I want to make a program which has 2 thread, one of which is to control some devices, and the other is to measure outputs of the devices.
To do that, I should make a 2 independent loops, but there comes a problem here.
I want to terminate 2 loops at the same time, but it's difficult for me to do that, because when I try to notify upper sequence's termination to lower loop by some value change, they have some dependency.
That's why I need your help. I want to know how to stop lower loop when the upper sequence's termination keeping their independency.
Please let me know. Thank you.

Is the upper loop commanding the lower loop at all? I would think you would have some type of communication between the loops. Just use that communication to send a stop command. Or the next best way is to just simply use a notifier.

When i sent a chunk of 50 messages to the MessageDrivenBean, let us say 25 have passed and at the 26th message there was a problem and could not deliver. so, it throws an exception due this the MDB goes into an infinite loop. Can anyone suggest how to stop the MDB from infinite loop. I need help for this ASAP.

You have to let the container deal with the message - expire/cancel the message after a certain number of tries. This is easy to manage in the WLS console. Which version of Weblogic has this option? 7.0 or 8.1 ?
I didnt see this option in Weblogic 7.0!!!!!!

The statement STOP is forbidden in methods and, since release 6.10, leads to an uncatchable expection during the processing of screens called with CALL SCREEN...
As they said above, use a EXIT statement to fix this DUMP...

Just place the Elapsed Time VI inside the WHILE loop, and wire the 'Time Has Elapsed' output to the conditional terminal in the lower right corner (which should be set to 'stop if true' by default).

Workflow infinite loop how to Stop?

My workflow is having a loop it runs infinite bcos the condition is not proper. Inside the loop i have a send mail step.. How to stop the Running workflow???

Roop,
It seems that the loop condition is a workflow step and not something in the method code.
For active instances of this workflow you will have to manually intervene. There can be 2 options -
1. Open the workflow log and change the container values such that it comes out of the condition
2. Logically delete the workflow.
