How to stop mouse bringing pc out of standby (K8N-neo 2) CORRECTION ADDED

I have a problem with a pc running XP-pro on an MSI-k8n-neo motherboard, when i put the pc into standby (S3 str) if you move the mouse while its in this state the pc comes out of standby. This is something i dont want it to do, the mouse by the way is a wireless Tevion laser mouse connected via ps2. I have run the bios set-up and disabled the mouse from bringing the pc out of standby. I have also gone to (from control panel) Mouse / hardware / properties / power management and unchecked " Allow this device to bring computer out of standby ", but the mouse still brings pc out of standby. Anyone know how to stop this happening.
Some more info, the pc connects to the internet via a wireless link which i believe operates at the same frequency as cordless mice. There could be some interference being generated between the two,but i dont see how the mouse can start the pc if i have disabled it from doing so. As i have said the mouse has a ps2 connection which connects to its docking station, the docking station does not have its own dedicated power supply and draws power from the ps2 connection for running and recharging the mouse, even when the pc has been shut down.

I tried moving the mouse base station further away from the wireless antenna but it made no dfference, In saying that though the cable on the mouse base station is very short. Another way of putting the pc in sleep mode was suggested to me and that was to use hibernate instead of standby. I tried it and it works fine. So im gonna stick with it, i would liked to have gotten to the bottom of the mouse problem though. If i do i will post back here.

One of the main reasons why you have a customer posting multiple submits would be because for some reason he/she doesn't know the first one was successful.
Add a property your form to record whether or not a valid submit has already happened. Use script to set that property on submit. Check each time the submit operation is fired to see if the property is set. If it is display an error dialog and stop the submit from occurring.
If someone wants to open multiple copies of your form and fill it out and send it to you, well there's nothing you can do about that.

How to stop ipod touch dropping out from reading email, then displaying main menu

My wife's Ipod touch (4 or 5 years old) has worked fine for years, but now when reading emails, without touching the screen or any controls, the ipod drops out of the application and displays the main menu after a few seconds. Have rebooted it a couple of times, but the fault persists.
Ipod is a 16Gb with 10.4 Gb available
Does anyone know how I can solve this problem ?

How to stop titles from fading out/layering titles?

hey guys - got another question. i am trying to have titles appear in a clip and am having trouble figure out how to get the effect i want. i want the words to appear one by one, but still show the previous words. so something like: sometimes/sometimes you/sometimes you wanna/sometimes you wanna go..
does that make sense? i want each word to appear after the first seamlessly but cannot figure out how to make that happen. thanks in advance. i'm a newbie and am totally clueless lol.

How to stop mouse pointer from being included on screenshots

Hey guys I was hoping someone could help me with this problem.
I am creating a software simulation and have decided to use Captivate 6. When capturing the appropriate screenshots i have noticed that the mouse pointer is being included with these. I DO NOT want the mouse pointer to be included within the screenshot.
I know how to disable the mouse pointer when setting my preferences before creaing the simulation, however, the mouse pointer is still being included in the screenshots. Here is an example below.. Can anyone help me?

Example: I orginally wanted to show the user's log in menu, but once I clicked "Login" the mouse pointer stuck to the screenshot. I don't want this mouse pointer to be there

I actually chose Demo and assessment. The mouse is not what I want to see in the slides. The timeline does not show a mouse at all because I have that functionality disabled. What I really want is to essentially replicate an application. I want the user to be able to start this captivate project from a flash drive and actually have the applications GUI with limited functionality (for training purposes). I am starting to think there is a problem with the application I am trying to replicate. I have a software product that I must start on a virtual machine. Once the virtual machine is up and running then can I actually start the application. I have already done two of these with different applications and had no problem at all with the mouse pointer disappearing. This one, however, is being very difficult. Maybe its because im using QNX?

Our ISP is not a happy bunny that lots of Undeliverable external emails are going out to the sender. Our GW system is version 7.0.3. I changed the GWIA's, Optional Gateway Settings, Outbound status level from "Undeliverable" to "None". The GWIA restarted automatically and it is still happening.
Any ideas anyone ?

Thanks for that. just to explain we have groupwise post-offices, then MTA, a GWIA, then a Mailsweeper server.
So from an incoming point of view, mailsweeper receives a message, passes to GWIA, I'm not sure about the next bit, but GWIA to MTA then post-office ?
If the address does not exist then what is it that sends the NDR, post-offiice, MTA, GWIA ?.

2. GWIA doesn't send bounces. Do you have a relay host in front of GWIA?
If yes, *that* is the offender.

How to stop duplications in iMovie so you can add and see new added photos

How can i stop duplications and where can I find a way to stop and add more photos onto an iMovie project?
I like the app but that doesn't help me being creative if I can't add more photos and only duplicates the last photos that was added before. How can I avoid duplication and see my new added photos in my created iMovie project????

You'll know if QT pro is not installed because the majority of menus will have 'get pro' annoyingly stamped on to them. QT pro predominantly releases the ability to export.
For what you need you would probably be better off taking your movies in to iTunes, under the playback prefs choose 'playback video in artwork viewer'. You can then drag the screen to increase the size of the artwork viewer.

Cannot come out of standby w/ wireless keyboard mouse (usb)

For some reason I cannot get my mega 180 to respond to keyboard or mouse activity when in standby (wireless mouse/keyboard via usb). In ther device manager, the options to "allow this device to bring comp out of standby" is grayed out. Any ideas?
Something else I have noticed that might jog someone's brain: I have a touchscreen monitor that connects via a 9 pin adapter (it is made for a serial port) to a usb port. When I bring the computer out of standby by pressing the power button, I lose the touchscreen function, and can only get it back with a reboot.

and then enable some sort of wakeup ...kbc (keyboard comand,...wake on usb or something like that.

If you want, you could also use Hiren's BootCD to make a bootable CD with many options and programs on it (I keep one, just for certain situations) that will allow you to do the same things.

I would like to stop mouse out action on an object between certain time frames. How can I achieve that?
let me tell you a little about my scene;
I'm creating a web page with pop-up pages. I have mouse in and out and click actions on buttons which lead to pop-up screens.
So when I click on buttons pages open, but if I move my mouse out of that button pop-up pages close.
I would like to keep them open even if i move my mouse out of that button.

I am getting annoyed that my monitor keeps blacking out on IDLE! Ahh! It does not sleep or power off, I suppose. Just goes black and then comes back alive on a mouse move. This is a desktop.

Can't figure out how to stop my MBP from opening programs at startup, namely word and messages

Recenty my MBPro has started opening MS Word and Messages at startup and I can't figure out how to stop it? I've tried selecting and de-selcting the startup option from the dock but this doesn't help. Does anyone have any suggestions?

System Preferences has a setting for this.
In the Users & Groups section you will fine a "Login Items" header. This is a list of all the programs that will open automatically when you log in. You can select any program and click the [--] button below that window to stop the program from opening automatically.
