I have asked for your email address to be edited out. Posting your address in an open thread is a sure way to be bombarded by unwanted email, remember it will be here long after you have resolved your problem, for automated detection software to find.
If you want people to contact you, enable others to see your email address in your profile.
BGCN is nothing to do with the Apple TV, you'd need to ask them how you stop your subscription.

Outrageously high broadband fee by monthly direct ...

Confused by constant increases in Monthly Direct Debits, spoke with the indian helpdesk on numerous occasions over the past 12 months and to be honest I am outraged by the change of paying an increase in a Broadband Only option 3. Look if I take up a 12 month contract I know how much over a 12 month period I should be paying. Please do not try and tell me how to work out the BT way of billing! When they originally sell you a service, its generally pay X for 3 months then goes up to X for the rest of the period, so why do BT feel the need to increase your payments. The last conversation I had was because of the predicted useage on my telephone, BT felt the need to increase my monthly direct debit? Why? I have never used the the BT landline for calls, it is a broadband only option so why are they using this predicted useage! Listen, when I took the service out it should be £11 a month line rental and £ 25.99 broadband, so why am I constantly fighting to keep my broadband amount to £37 a month (which I am more than happy to pay, or was anyway), which it should be, but instead I am paying £49 a month for broadband only!!!
£49 a month for broadband... Incidentally started doing some investigation on other service providers and what I am paying is more than double. Also to top it off the exchange I am on only handles 2meg download.
Can someone investigate this immediately because I am not prepared to contact your indian helpdesk who are totally useless.

Welcome to the forum.
I think Ectophile's right, it sounds like you're on a Monthly Payment Plan, where a set amount is taken from your bank account each month, and then you receive a quarterly statement advising of your debit/credit balance.
If your account is in debit or credit by a large amount (and this is relative to what you pay monthly) then the amount is reassessed and increased/decreased accordingly.
If you can send in your forum username and BT account details to the email address registered against my profile I’ll check this further for you.

High monthly direct debits

I don't understand the way bt bills at all. I was convinced that I would be spending approx £50 per month for broadband, landline and bt vision but my monthly direct debits range anywhere from £70 to £100 per month!! Each time I call bt to try and sort this out I am told something different. I can't afford this amount but am now stuck in a contract, even when the balance is cleared and it appears I go back to a reasonable monthly amount it creeps back up again. I have just been told by someone else in an Indian call centre (this may be cheaper for you bt but frustrating as hell for us) that after my next payment in July my balance will be clear and I can start paying monthly for exactly what I use instead every month...well isn't that what I was supposed to be doing from the start? This is ridiculous, cannot wait for contract to end! I want to speak to someone in the uk!! I don't pay this much a month to speak to people in India when I have a problem, surely! Bt...you may think you are saving money using the overseas option, what happens when you lose all your customers due to the sheer frustration of not being able to speak to someone in the uk who truly understands the problem? V frustrated with bt and ridiculous bills

From the info you've given your last bill was on or about 9 April, your payment date is the 8th of the month, and your account is currently virtually in balance. So your April and May payments cleared the April bill. The next bill on 8 July will be for around £150, but you will only have made your June payment by then because your payment date is too close to the bill date. So to get your July bill around zero you need to pay £150 before it's made up.
If I've got all that right, here's how. Click MyBT at the top of this page > Log in > My bills and payments > Manage your payments > Change regular payment > Change payment details > Tick Change the amount you want to pay, or the payment date > Change the amount to £75 and the date to 1st. (Actually, it would be better to do it after your June payment is taken.)
If that works go to Live Chat as soon as you get the bill and ask them to put you on Monthly Whole Bill DD right away. Keep a copy of the transcript just in case.

How to get the monthly interest rate

Hello!
I have been using AppleWorks for 10 years.
Since that time, I use a financial template named Mortgage Analyser.
In this file, one can get the pmt if one provided the +pv, monthly interest rate and the number of periods.+
What I get is the reverse, that is, how to get the +monthly interest rate+, if I provide the +pv, the number of periods and the pmt+?
I think I had this in the past, but I can not find it.

I already saw that, but it does not give me what I want.
That works only if you put a money at a savings account and DO NOT TOUCH IT for a given period.
My need right now is to help a girl to buy a car in 36 or 48 monthly payments and calculate the real interest.
I want to have this for any other similar buying.
I can do it using the Mortgage Analyser template changing the MONTHLY RATE by *+try and error+* but — +since I am a High School Math Teacher+ — I would like to have the function directly.
Another day I was looking on the Internet and it seems that there is no direct response for what I want, using AppleWorks.
So, if I continue to use AW, I must calculate it by try and error.

How to STOP syncing with Outlook via GPRS?

I use an unlocked iPhone 3G with a prepaid mobile card.
Everytime I open my Calendar function on the iPhone (just to see the days and dates) the iPhone attempts to sync over the air with my Outlook account calendar via GPRS.
This costs a bomb on the prepaid card, and I want to stop the sync function.
Would someone kindly tell me how to STOP the iPhone from syncing with my Outlook Calendar?

If calendar events are synced over the air, this means you are accessing an Exchange account or a MobileMe account.
If you don't want to sync calendar events over the air with the account, you need to turn Calendars off for over the air syncing for the account preferences on your iPhone. This will erase all calendars and calendar events from your iPhone and you will need to sync direct with a supported application on your computer via the iTunes sync process. If an Exchange account with Outlook on a Winblows PeeCee, this will not be possible.

Tables are VBRK & VBRP. For flow, go to transaction VF03, enter document number and hit 'Display Document Flow' button on toolbar
vbrk and vbrp holds billing/invoice details..
Billing Document:
Generic term for invoices, credit memos, debit memos, pro forma invoices and cancellation documents.
The tables are VBRK and VBRP.
2)-- once u do PGI the delivery document will be created . there is no way to stop it .. the thing u can to do go to the list of created deliveries in VL09.. select the delivery doc which u created.there u have the option of reversing the goods or canceling it.

HT201303 Random Apple id password resets - how to stop this?

A couple of months ago I started getting emails from Apple titled "How to reset your Apple Id password" and then more worryingly "Your Apple Id password has been reset". This happened several times over the next few days and I know this was not done by accident from me or my family because it was happening during the night UK time. I reported to Apple support and they were no help, in fact they deactivated my account until I told them to reactivate it again!
To me it seems like someone (or some system) is triggering the password reset online when trying to access my account.
After reporting it to Apple it stopped for a couple of months - now it started again! Several random resets during the night and day when I know no-one could be doing this from one of my devices.
Has this happened to anyone else? Any good ideas how to stop it? Any way to disable email authentication on the password reset and restrict to only the personal data questions?
