How to stop Safari app from crashing

About 2 days ago my Safari app began crashing when it tried to open a page. Whenever I open safari and try to load a page, it starts to load and then jumps back to my iphone home screen. This happens for every page...it's not random. No software was updated when this began, but something apparently happened. I updated to version 4.3.5 today thinking that would solve the problem, but it hasn't. Nor has rebooting the phone. I'm using a 32GB 3GS. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try resetting the phone instead of rebooting. To do a reset, press the sleep and home button for about 10-15sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose any data doing a reset, but it can clear some glitches.

Thanks Linc, it took me a bit to figure out that within this link was a way to close the message viewer, which I've done for now.
I would still be interested to know if there is a way for the message viewer panel to be open and have mail NOT open the next message automatically. I do like to have the message panal open. But I am not sure why the default is to jump to the next message, or why we cannot have it sit at the last messge and allow us to choose when we are ready to read the next message.

How to stop Quicklook Satellite from crashing on boot up

I am running 10.8.2 Mountain Lion on a Mac Pro 3.2GHZ Quad tower, 16GB RAM. About a week ago, I noticed that after every system boot, I am presented with the message that QuickLookSatellite has crashed. I have NOT opted in System Preferences to send data to APPLE, so I am presented with the options od "detail" or "ignore" and "report to apple.
I would like to NOT see these messages. I don't want info to be sent knowingly or unknowingly to Apple from my machine. SO I guess, the more important question is WHAT IS CAUSING THIS & HOW (if at all), can I repair the problem. The mesage pops up on EVERY boot and sometimes more than once after boot. I am pasting the error message.
Any idea what is causing this AND how to repair it? Thanks!!!

to highlight this group if you can't see if type "login items" in the search field at the top right.
now select the user on the left then click the "Login Items" segment on the top right.

Can someone please tell me how to stop my CS6 from crashing? HELP!!

(FYI, I am a real novice on the software side of all this, so if you can help me in very simple terms, I'd really appreciate it!)
I am at my wit's end...and I had a very short wit to begin with! CS6 keeps crashing WITHOUT ANY PREVIOUS WARNING on me-- and taking the whole computer with it-- whenever I've been working in CS6 for 20-25 minutes. By crashing, I mean that first CS6 freezes, then I get a completely blue screen. CS6 crashes whether I edit direcctly from it, or if I go into it from Lightroom (Version 4.1).
When I reboot and eventually go back to CS6, my work from all but the last 10 minutes will have been saved.
I never had this problem-- with the same computer, pentab, OS, etc.-- with CS5. I did have this problem when I installed the trial version of CS6. (I now feel stupid for even buying CS6, but at the time I thought just the Trial Version was buggy.)
I have tried uninstalling every morsel of code related to my Wacom Bamboo tablet, and that didn't stop the crashes. I have uninstalled and re-installed CS6, and that didn't help. I have updated Windows and all CS6 applications, and still the crashes persist.   I even tried calling Adobe for help, but after four and a half hours on hold, I had to give up.

That probably means that you're not looking at a bug in Photoshop, but a problem with a driver - and the most likely cause would be your video card driver.
And sure enough, your video card driver is almost 2 years out of date.

Double click the Home button. The bottom row shows the recently used apps. Touch and hold the app until they all start to wiggle then tap the circled minus sign by apps you want to remove. Press the Home button to return to normal.
However, that is recently used apps not apps doing something. Some apps will do things all the time/periodically like checking for Notification, new mail. Yu can turn those off in the apps themselves.

I transfer a list of specific episodes from iTunes. I have sync and autodownload and 4G turned off in settings, yet the app keeps asking me if I want to turn on cellular to download episodes. How to stop Calendar app from asking for my icloud password every 5 minutes

On Mac OS X 10.9.5
Recently the Calendar app pops up a window every few minutes asking for my iCloud password. I am sure I am entering the correct password, and selecting Remember password in my keychain - but it doesn't help. I have tried switching off Calendars in my iCloud settings, waiting then switching it on again. I have restarted my computer (several times). Nothing seems to help. The problem started since setting up 2-step authentication for my iCloud account. Any help much appreciated - It is really annoying!

Apple recently made a change and now requires app-specific passwords when using two-factor authentication with iCloud. Please read this on how to set it up: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT6186.
If you've set up an app-specific password and Fantastical is still not accepting the new password, make sure that you aren't accidentally pasting in a return with the password. iCloud's website will include a return at the end of the password if you copy and paste the password directly from the iCloud website, which will cause the app-specific password to be rejected.

How to stop Music app from shuffling

Running latest iOS on iPhone 4S. The Music app is playing through a very large playlist (>1000 songs) that I want to listen to in order, but it is shuffling songs in the list. How do I get this to stop? When a song is playing, the "Repeat", "Create" and "Shuffle" buttons on the bottom of the screen are in normal red text.

Sadly, this did not help.
Oddly, the playlist in iTunes on my computer is in order by track number; on the phone, the tracks appear to be sorted by artist name.

How to Stop a Loop from Crashing Dreamweaver

I am working on some loops and when I get them wrong a continuous loop results causing Dreamweaver to crash.
Is there a button or a CTRL key combination where I can I stop / break the loop before it crashes ? I try to use 'Stop' but it does not always work.
The only way I can see to stop it is by killing DW through Task Manager which is a major pain,

By default, a PHP script will run for 30 seconds if you create an infinite loop. You just have to bide your time until the loop has run. There is no way to stop it.
The pain helps you learn not to write continuous loops.

Any other suggestions on how to stop Indesign CS5 from crashing?

Indesign CS5 was running fine on computer (mac 10.6.8) for a couple of years until a few months ago when it started crashing randomly, this has become progressively more frequent until it would crash at launch. So far I've:
Resolved font conflicts through Font Book.
Ran Disk Utility to repair permissions.
Deleted Indesign cache.
Uninstalled Creative Suite.
Deleted all Adobe preference files and cache on the HD and user profile.
Did a system search for anything Adobe and deleted this as well.
Reset the computers PRAM.
Reinstalled Creative Suite.
Installed all updates.
Opened Indesign and was working fine for a few minutes until I selected preferences from pull down menu and then it hung, crashed and is following the pattern as before...
I'm outta ideas on what to do, any suggestions?

Check to ensure you have no 3rd party plugins installed.

Surely something has changed on your system in the last few months, did you get any new peripherals or other things? Did you install any updates or have any other issues with other software/hardware?

Click & hold on the Dock icon and you should see a pause option. Alternattively, Mac Apple Store->Purchases should show the DL status and give you an option to pause it. Finally, if it finishes DLing and starts the installer, just quit it. You have to actively choose to run the installer once it downloads to your /Applicatiions folder.

Sometimes crashes or always crashes when deployed through the store?
If you want to rely on data instead of magic then check the crash reports as Abdul suggests. If you want magic then my crystal ball says that if it always crashes the app is trying to write to its install directory.
The install directory is writable for test deployed apps but not for apps deployed from the store.

You can terminate it from
Runtime tab -> Processes.
Just make right mouse click on process you want to kill and
select �Terminate process� from pop up menu.
