How to Stop Safari display of links in hover bars when rolling over pages?

Sure, this may be a feature, but it is a nuisance. I often go to web sites, e.g. staples.com or officedepot.com that have catalogs of products in which each image can link to a particular product's page. They usually have a little more info about the product that pops up during hovering over the image(s). Only problem is that you can't see what THEY display because something like "Great GPS device for $..." gets covered over by a yellow test hover bar display from Safari insisting on you knowing that the link will take you to to "http://officedepot.shoplocal.com/officedepot/Default.aspx?action=browsepagedet ail&storeid=2478180&rapid=515623&pagenumber=1&listingid=-2091997555"
I can't find an option to disable this ugly hover pop-up "feature" in Safari.

there is probably an eloquent way to ask this but I don't even know what the feature is called.
Here is what it's doing:
I'm using safari in landscape mode on my iPad.
I click on the search bar and then the bookmarks come up below.
It takes a second to automatically resize to a size that make no sense, usually cutting off bookmark titles...and the delay of it resizes drives me nuts.

Try deleting the Cache.db...
Quit Safari.
Go to ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db
Move the Cache.db file from the com.apple.Safari folder to the Trash.
Relaunch Safari ...
You may want to try the Safari Reading List as an alternative to tabs.
Click the eyeglass icon just to the left of the Bookmarks icon top left side of the Safari window.
Drag the url to the window or click Add Page

Private Browsing in iOS 5 protects private information and blocks some websites from tracking your behavior. Safari doesn't remember the pages you visit, your search history, or your AutoFill information.

It's not really something to snap a screen shot of. I believe it would need to be a video clip. For instance, when I am working on multiple images in Photoshop, I often need many images open at the same time, but I only have one image viewable and active. The hero image is active on screen while I hide the other images in the dock by hitting the yellow - button on the images. Then I "Hide" Photoshop to do something in the Finder. When I go back to Photoshop, every image that is hidden in the dock will pop open again in the active window, not just the image I was currently working on. I want these images to stay in the dock until I need them, no matter how many times I Hide the Show Photoshop.

Linked images "jump" when rolled over

When rolling over an image being viewed on a page in IE/Mozilla, it seems to "jump" if it is linked to a larger version of the same image. Am guessing it is a setting in Page Properties, but I believe I've changed just about everything with no luck.

I have an existed report that display the CR page header on every page of the report. Now I added another subreport into report footer without using link. How do I stop to display the main report page header and display the subreport in the new page with subreport header only? I really appreciate your time to help me out on this issue. Thanks.

How to stop Safari from realoading page and worst, start at the TOP?

When clicking something, for example an article in an online newspaper, after reading, when you scroll back to the newspaper, Safari reloads and starts at the TOP of the page. This drives me crazy, and I have to work hard to figure out were I was in the very long frontpage of the online newspaper. Please help!
PS! Opera DOES NOT do this. So I want Safari to behave like Opera :-)

This Apple-forum we now are using are a great example of the how totally useless Safari is.
I tried to find answer for my question, and pressed "more" at the bottom of the page, and then "more" again and again until I found something interesting i want to read. So I was a bit down in the forum frontpage. Opened the forum-post, read and used mouse gestures to get back to the forum.
Safari reloaded and startet at the top of the page, so now I must scroll down and press "more", scroll down again and press "more" again, scroll and press "more" and then once again, just to get where I was in the first place!!!
Well, I am speachless. If this problem is unsolvable, I have no other choice than find another browser to use. This is just too stupid and it drives me crazy!
So, you kind people out there, this is really an emergency.
And if Apple-staff are reading this, well, you now know what you have to do, fix it immediately!

Sorry, you can't. Tabs came with iOS5 I believe. Best you can do is manage them and close extras as they pop up.

As of the latest version, typing in the address bar suggests Google search terms in addition to suggestions from history. How can I change it to the previous mode of only suggesting from my history?

How to stop safari from redirecting you to an app?

When I'm in safari and I want to click on a link for a website like Amazon or Google Maps, safari automatically redirects me the app without asking if I want to be redirected. Other than just deleting the app entirely from my phone, how do I stop this from happening?

Specifically, which page is it?
If the page uses rotating advertising, it could be that the entire page reloads every set interval and not the ad itself (which would be the smart thing to do) and thus forces the browser to be pushed back to the top of the page.
If the page doesn't use advertising and just refreshes itself for new content every set interval, it could set Safari to the top of the page, too. In short, it seems like the problem is not on your end but rather the website.

Can you tell me how to display a URL content into next page after an user click s on this link? I am developing a JSR 168 portlet under a Portal. I have 3 pages so far in my portlet. view.jsp, view2.jsp and IpByHourPage.jsp. view2.jsp displays a lis of IP address. When an user clicks on an IP in view2.jsp, it goes to IpByHourPage.jsp. How to catch the IP address such as 123.23.89.21 that an user just click displayed in IpByHourPage.jsp. I don't know why I got null value returned.

The problem for above code is the clicked single IP can not be displayed in IpByHourPage.jsp. and I cannot go back to view2.jsp from IpByHourPage.jsp. when I click "Choose Another IP"
I find out that the MyBegDate and MyEndDate values are all null when I click Choose Another IP link. I got the following error message
