Hi there, my niece lost her iPod touch at school and in there had my phone number and my apple Id. Unknow people stolen the iPod keep calling me by face time even I changed my apple id. Can someone help me to stop them bother me like that way. They cover their face by blanket and talk crazy, if I do not accept,they will call me again and again. I am stuck ! Help me please !

You can delete the iCloud account from her phone by going to Settings>iCloud, scroll to the bottom and choose Delete Account. I believe you will get a prompt asking if you want to remove or keep the data on the phone; if you don't want your contacts on her phone choose delete. As far as the contact on your old SIM card, if it is the same size as the iPhone SIM card you can put it in the iPhone and import the contacts (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4994). If the SIM card won't fit, then you would need to either export the contacts to your computer using appropriate software, upload your contacts to a cloud service so you can download them to your computer, or in some cases take it and your iPhone to your retailer and ask them if they can do the transfer for you. (It's also possible to cut a SIM card down to fit but it can be tricky to get it right. There are articles on this if you search with Google.) Why is my iPhone sending iMessages through my apple ID and not my phone number?

So this question is actually about my friends iPhone 4... She and I text on a daily basis and we use iMessages. As of two days ago, every time I sent her an iMessage, it would fail and I would have to send it as a text message. Well we finally figured out it was because her iMessages were turned off (probably by her 2 year old daughter.) So she turned them back on and she sent me an imessage. But when she sent the imessage and I received it, I received the message from her apple id, not her phone number which is what I normally receive her messages from. Her and I can't figure out how to change it back to her phone number.. Any ideas?

Have your friend go to Settings>Messages>Send and Receive and make sure that her phone number is checked. She can also remove the checkmark by her Apple ID email if desired.

On your Mac in Messages with his conversation in "focus" (the one selected) Click and hold his Name in the "to" Spot and the top right of the right hand pane where the conversation is.
This will become a Drop Down and show you the iMessages (and other accounts he might have) options.
In some cases they may not have been used before and may not have the indicator.
Example
NOTE.
Any phone number will be listed as a potential iMessages ID as well any emails.
In the above example I happen to know that both the emails are Apple IDs (What I don't know is if my wife as linked either to her iPhone Number)

Go into Settings, turn FaceTime off. Power the phone off/on. Go back into Settings, turn on FaceTime and let it activate. The phone number comes from the SIM and the activation message. It should populate the correct number.

Where is the Start new conversations from??? When I go to Send & Receive, there is no where to add or set to receive at my phone number. Sounds like your sharing the same apple id. settings - message - send&receive - make sure the cell number is the default for both phones.

Go to Settings/ Store and under the category "Automatic Downloads" you can turn OFF the automatic download of purchases to your device (this needs to be done for each device). There's also a setting in iTunes just for automatic pushes to your iTunes library.
To remove a purchase you've made directly to your device, you can either:
a- Swipe across the song title from left to right and press Delete, or
b- If you auto-sync your device, connect to iTunes and click on the Music tab where you define your sync settings (the Music tab is to the right of the overall Summary page of your device). At the bottom of the Music tab you'll see direct purchases that are on your device -- simply un-check those and click "Apply" or "Sync" to remove them.
c- If you manually manage music on your device, connect to iTunes and click the small arrow to the left of your device name, and then click on the Music folder under your device. Then navigate to the item(s) you want to remove and then delete them.
To prevent things from syncing from your library to your device, there are many ways to do that (un-checking things in your library is one way, but not the best IMO). Might want to read the manual or some online tutorials on iTunes if you want to learn more.

You need to find and delete (move to the Trash) the offline mail cache (.offline cache.) It's a hidden folder (files and folders with a preceding dot are hidden) inside the Mail folder (inside IMAP) in your user library. Since it's hidden, in order to see it run the following command in Terminal in Applications>Utilities. Hit return/enter once you have pasted in the command.
defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles -bool true ; killall Finder
To reverse this and hide all those hidden files and folders again
defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles -bool false ; killall Finder
Leave hidden files/folders enabled until you finish emptying the Trash so you know it's gone.

You cannot delete Apple ID. You can change the password so the Apple ID without the correct password will be useless for others.
If you still have the old iPhone:
Wipe iPhone/iPad/iPod touch clean
There are a few steps to do:
Switch off iMessage in Settings > Messages
Switch off FaceTime in Settings > FaceTime (iPod touch 4th Generation or later, iPhone 4 or later and iPad 2 or later)
Delete iCloud in Settings > iCloud > Delete Account
Finally Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings.

Settings-icloud-scroll to the bottom, select delete, if you want to keep the content select keep, otherwise it'll remove it. Then once it is done add the account information for the account you want on that phone. Your apple ID in settings-store will remain the same and each device can still purchase/use content from that account.

ALL purchases are permanently associated with whatever Apple ID was used to originally obtain them. Apps can not be updated without knowledge of that ID and, more importantly, its password. Apple IDs can not be merged and purchases can not be transferred from one ID to another.
