How do i stop the application screen from keep appearing on my ipad. Every page i go it appears. Its annoying. I have my pop up blocker on.

I've a "bug" with the apps downloading. This one stops at the end and stays like that infinite. The app doesn't appears normally on the homescreen. The app is on the home screen, and its downloading is blocked at its end, without showing the app like it should when it's finished downloadung. Does someone can help me and fix this please?

I had heard that these switches didn't stack unless everything was identical.
I only tried it at all out of pure desperation.
I've applied and tested every version 3 firmware in standalone mode via a console cable and xmodem.
They either never come up properly receiving decompression errors and reboot constantly in a loop.
Occasionally they stall / jam and stay there displaying the same error with no rebooting.
And twice out of 80-100 times I got it to boot to the username and password screen in standalone mode.
But as soon as I made a change it crashed and started the rebooting cycle again. -

Well, you could install the 8.1 update which I understand does what you seek. Or you could get a third party utility like Start8 which brings back the Windows 7 Start facility. Or, when the Start screen (Tiles) is showing, simply press the Windows key which toggles back and forth between the Desktop and Start screens.
Incidentally, if you elect to install the Windows 8.1 update, do NOTHING before reading THIS Toshiba document about updating a Toshiba Laptop to Windows 8.1 and follow the instructions fully and CAREFULLY.

How to stop Windows 7 computer from advertising DLNA on the LAN?
I have a streaming server and client on my network, but when I use the client, the server list is cluttered up with the Windows 7 computers I have. I will never, ever be using these computers to stream videos, so how can I remove them from the list? I discovered
that I can do it by removing the Windows Media Player component, but if I do that, then my computers can't play videos either! I just want Windows to stop advertising DLNA services on the network.
Incidentally, this question is not as simple as it seems, because I do have streaming turned OFF. If I use my DLNA client to select one of my Windows computers, I get an error on my TV screen saying that streaming isn't enabled. I want to stop Windows advertising
a service that isn't there...
A workaround would be to remove Windows Media Player and install a third-party media player, but I don't really want to do that.

So the service is called "Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service". Thanks to bawoodruff for that.
I echo the frustration described by "jase-in-atl" when he complains that streaming can be turned on, but not off again. My streaming was OFF because I'd never used it, but I had to turn it ON before I could set all the devices to "blocked".
When I blocked all devices, it no longer showed up on the client's list, as I wanted.
It's certainly a very user-unfriendly option, that I have to turn streaming ON, in order to successfully turn the DLNA advertisement OFF. Turning streaming ON seems like a backwards step. Microsoft's attempts to simplify things, or possibly to cajole people
into using certain windows features, certainly makes the settings harder to understand. -
How to stop my safari screen from glitching?
The screen keeps glitching nearly all the time.
The screen in the top left corner (roughly 1/4 the size of the screen) NOT in full screen mode. Goes WHITE. If I try to scroll down it "flickers". Sometimes that can get it to go away or just shut down safari.

How to stop an inactive screen from going darker?
I use my ibook to watch DVDs a lot and it's really annoying that the screen goes darker after 2 minutes or so. I assume it's an energy saving thing?

Correcting the Green screen tint appearing while loading images to the screen?
.... the Infamous Green tint that invades the screen, is still there on a whole lot of images - not all, a problem which occurs while images are loading to the screen for viewing. And it's on both the iMac whee it started, and the Macbook.
It was a problem that resulted from an Aperture update last year I think. Any clues?

RaphaelToday, after a year of trying to get rid of thei problem, an Aperture "Craetive" at the Apple store found a way to correct it after contemplating it for about 15 seconds.
Here is the remedy:
To get rid of it, select image(s), go to Photo in the menu bar, hold down Option key, click on Generate Preview in the drop down menu. Wait for it to finish processing - a few seconds. Done. -
App Store screen seems to be locked. Screen shows 5 updates but there is no response to "update all" or anything on that page.

Close All Open Apps... Sign Out of your Account... Perform a Reset... Try again...
Reset ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons.

How do I stop the Cloud Screen from popping up on my PC when charging my LG phone
I have an LG G3 with 4G android software. I am not interested at all in using Cloud storage. Every time I plug my phone in to charge on my computer's USB port, the Cloud screen pops up asking if I want to subscribe or some other question which I forget. Always in Full Screen. Can anyone tell me how I can disable this or get rid of it in some way or another? I have uninstalled the Cloud App on the PC, but it didn't make any difference.

i have moved from an iphone 4 to iphone 5 and have done a back up of my iphone 4 and restored this back up to the iphone 5, but the apps do not appear to have come across. Have I done something wrong? Please can someone tell me how to move my apps across?
After you Restore from backup, sync the iPhone.

After updating the app blitz brigade, the app disapears from the screen and is not available anymore. It is not possible to download it again because there is no cloud behind it anymore in the app store. But I made in app buys, so I spend a lot of money and now I can not acces the game. The iPhone has a proximity sensor located on the top of the phone near the earphone speaker that is supposed to automatically turn off the screen when it is close to your face while on a call, to prevent that very thing from happening. If your phone isn't doing that, try cleaning your screen. Also, if you put a screen protector on your phone made for a different model it may lack the cut-out that is supposed to keep it from blocking the sensor. Try removing your screen protector to see if that helps. If it does, get another screen protector.
