How to stop the software update
The software update of my Curve9360 has started automatically and is blocked at 9% since a very long time, while the blackberry is hot and I can't exit in any way. How can I stop the process?
I've tried to take off the battery, but when I put it inside and start the device, the screen appears always with the software update at 9%.
I've also tried to connect the blackberry to the PC to use the Desktop Manager, but the Desktop Manager can't connect to the Blackberry which is still at 9% of the process and is getting more and more hot!

A friend who runs a PC Repair business told me that if you've updated your Flash Player and you see a warning in a web page that you need to download an update to watch a video, it's an attack site.
A simple gesture of holding your mouse over the warning or link, will indicate the address it points to. If it DOESN'T say Adobe anywhere in the beginning of the address (download.adobe.com, or adobe.com/downloads), it's a forgery, and you should leave that page immedaitely. If you download and install whatever they link you to, it may play the content you were looking for, but you've just been infected with something that may lay dormant for months and then suddenly take over your whole system.
If you use your PC for work, you're really in trouble. -

How to stop the auto updater in N900 application m...
Hey guys,
Anyone know how to stop the auto updater in N900 application manager ?
Coz when i connect via wifi or 3G, it always try to search for updates...Coz of that i cant search the web properly until its over.
Specially when i connect via GPRS, i have to pay more for this extra mega bites use from app manager...
So got any ideas for this prob...?
(I usually use faster app manager to install apps.)

How do I stop the Software Update messages without updating my software?
I keep getting Software Update messages asking me to update to Firefox 30.0 for a security and stability update. I do not wish to update any time soon, and I am tired of constantly getting these messages. The only two options I'm given is to "Ask Later" or "Update Firefox". When I hit the "Ask Later" button, the message keeps coming back very regularly. I don't want the message to keep coming back and I don't want to update. Is there a way to stop these messages from coming to me without actually updating?

my phone is saying it doesn't reconigise my sim card from "simple mobile" i just want to stop the update!
There is nothing to stop... it has already updated the iOS on the device.
iOS is doing what it is supposed to do, activate using a valid SIM.
Your device is carrier locked, either install a SIM from the carrier it is locked to or contact them to see what their conditions are for unlocking. -
How do undo the software update?
I updated my phone a week or so ago using the "check for new software" feature and ever since my phone has been sucking power and keeps dropping the data connection. Since it worked like a charm before I would like to just undo this update. Is there an easy method to accomplish this?

Ipod toch has froozen from me trying to stop the software update !
i accidentally started the i0S5 .1 the last time it ened up erasing all my music and apps so i try to stop it from going through and in the process it freezed my itouch leaving a blank white screen. So my question is how long will it be before it unfreezes or is it something i can do that can help speed things up, and finally will this end up with my apps and music being deleted again?

If you do the update on your syncing computer and all media (apps music, synced photos etc, are on the computer/in iTunes library of tha computer then doing update will result in nothing lost. -

How to stop the auto refresh in dashboard
i have a BIP Report, i have unchecked the "Auton Run" option in the report properties of BIP reports and uploaded the report to My Dashboard,

My Note 4 accidentally powered on in my pocket and the annoying Verizon/Samsung lollipop update screen also started to install. I've been so careful not to install because the last thing I want is Lollipop to ruin my phone.. So i pulled out the battery immediately hoping but no luck as once the battery was in it started installing again so I pulled it out.. Please help as my luck with all prior Android updates since day 1 has been awful..

We certainly want you to have a phone that works at all times. You will not be able to stop the software update, but there are a whole slew of great changes on the new software. How to undo OS software update from 10.8.3 back to 10.8.2?
Hi there,
I just updated my OS to 10.8.3. I have a Macbook Pro (mid 2012)
I originally wanted to install Windows 7 via Boot Camp.
In the recent 10.8.3 update, there is an update for Boot Camp (Boot Camp 5)
However, after I updated the OS update, I found out that Boot Camp 5 only supports 64-bit Windows 7. I have the 32-bit version.
So now I'm stuck.
Can someone please help me and tell me how to undo the software update?
Thank you,There is no way to downgrade unless you have a backup of your old 10.8.2 system. If you do, you can restore to that state.
