How to stop triggering Enable User task

Hi ,
We have a requirement to disable three resources . After disabling if we enable the user, out of 3 resources one shud remain in disabled state. I have added a process task adapter to achieve this. But what my problem is after click enable from user profile first it will trigger Enable and then only its disabling the particular resource. I dont want the Enable user to trigger for that particular resource if I try to enable thru user profile and also ,thru resource profile if we enable that resource it shud enable.
Is there any way we can identify the resource is enabled thru user profile or resource profile?
Please help me out
Thanks

That will work when the user is enabled from the OIM user profile. But if we reconcider your usecase in which the resource should be enabled if we enable it on the resource profile. Will this work?

  • Enable User task is not getting triggered

    Hi All
    We have a provisioning workflow configured. "Enable User" task is not getting triggered while the user is enabled in OIM. Can anyone give a clue as to how to get it triggerd? Rest all the tasks are fine (Create, Disable, Delete, and other custom tasks)
    Thanks,
    Vinay

    There is a OOTB scheduled Task "Enable After Start Date". once the user get enabled in OIM user profile. You have to run this task manually to have effect on corresponding RO for enablement. Else it will execute automatically as per scheduled time.
    if the version of OIM is 11.1.1.5. There is an issue. update patch BP02. for same

  • How to create attachments in User Tasks in 10.1.3.1?

    Hi all!
    I didn't find any info on how to create an attachment for User Task in Worklist application which comes by default with SOA Suite 10.1.3.1 DP (http://host:port/integration/worklistapp/). In previous releases (for ex. 10.1.2.0.2) it was possible through the special form. But in 10.1.3.1 I can see only task history there.
    So is this feature supported and how to set up it?
    Thanks in advance!

  • How to stop an unauthorized user from changing my password.

    How do I block an unauthorized user from constantly changing my password?
    I had an old iPod Gen 4 stolen and someone from China is downloading Apps (I get email alerts when they download something and the last message said the computer used is registered in China).  I have changed the account password many times.  However, days later, I will get an alert email that my password was changed (not by me), or I will try to purchase something and my password will not work.  How else can I block this person from changing my password so he/she can use my account?  Will changing my user email address work?  Should I deactiviate all authorized computers to wipe them out?  I do not have any credit cards tied to my account, so they are only downloading free apps.

  • Trigger another Process Task after Enable User completed

    I would like to have a process task trigger after the "Enable User" process task successfully completed.
    E.g. Scenario
    A user currently has a disabled resource. When I enable the user, the Enable User process task
    gets called and enables the user. After that I would like to have my custom process task triggered after that.
    I tried adding my custom process task in the Enable User task as a dependent task, but it never gets called.
    Also, I tried adding the custom task to Tasks to Generate but that did not work.
    What am I doing wrong or am I missing a step?

    Instructions:
    Goal: When 1st process task is triggered, the 2nd process task will kickoff.
    1. Select the 1st process task
    2. In the Task Dependency Tab of the 1st process task, add the 2nd process task in the Dependant Task section.
    3. In the Responses Task of the 1st process task, select the SUCCESS response and add the 2nd process task in the Tasks to Generate section.
    IMPORTANT: Each response has its own Task to Generate. So make sure you add to the response you want the 2nd process task to trigger off by.

  • How to stop the triggering of a process task

    Hi
    I have one child form details and the correspnding task to add user to the child form is 'add user to details'
    When I am provisioning a user i am adding the child form field ,its a multivalued attribute and after the user got created the child values are also populated . But after I have added the task 'add user to details' that is also triggering on the call of create user that i dont want actually . I need that task only to update the child form after the user got provisioned not in the create user scenario.So please tell me how to restrict the triggering of that task during create user
    thanks in advance

    thx for the response
    that task is conditional only..the thing is i dont want to trigger that task after create user coz already Im adding the child values with the createUser api so no need to update the child form again with the same values.I wrote the task 'add user to details ' for the further updation of child form ,not at the time of create user
    Edited by: 802390 on Nov 22, 2010 1:21 AMYou wanna say that your Create User task is adding roles/groups data in Target Resource itself.
    Now you have made another task just to modify child data records.
    I'll say that it is wrong. You'll face issues as you are directly inserting data into target without updation of child form which is against Audit and Compliance.
    It would be better if you make separate task for Creating User and Adding Multivalued data into target application.
    Anyways,
    Add your second task with proper trigger on Child Form like insert/update.
    Go to Create User task and remove all dependency which triggers your second task.

  • How to stop the "minority report" type of personalized ads triggered by one's google search and appearing in the firefox browser?

    Please advise how to stop the "minority report" type of personalized advertising apparently triggered by one's google search and appearing in the firefox browser.

    If another uses the computer with their own user account, everything
    is kept separate in each users folder. Only if someone used your account
    would that be an issue.
    Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.

  • How do I run a scheduled task as a specific user (proxy user)

    I am a little stumped here.
    We have some Taskdefinition that we can schedule so they run every N minutes or once a day and so forth... works fine...
    How can I set which user it is supposed to run as?
    I dont want it to run as me or any of the other admins, I wan tit to run as a specific proxy user so that it is easy to see which task that did what changes to a user or resource.
    I know that the reconcilliations and active syncs can use a proxy account, and I noticed that I can change a tasks user by editing it in debug after it is scheduled.
    But I would like to add it in the taskdefinition itself, trying to find info on how to do that....
    either I am missing it in the manuals or I am blind...

  • How to stop the Flex application when user clicks on Cancel button from JS-confirm message?

    Hi All,
    I use the next code when a user clicks on a link:
    private function clickHandler():void
          ExternalInterface.call('confirm', 'Of course you want to go to the Adobe forums!');
          navigateToURL(new URLRequest('http://forums.adobe.com'), '_self');
    This will show up the javascript confimation box. But when the cancel-button is clicked, the user goes straightly to http://forums.adobe.com...
    How to stop Flex performing the next code when a user clicks on the Cancel button?
    Or, how to catch which button is clicked by a user in Flex?
    Thanks!

    I agree with Mr. Hall that using mx.controls.Alert in Flex may be a better route.
    Show the Alert like this:
    // show an alert with a question and yes and no choices
    Alert.show( "Would you like to go to the Adobe Forums?", "Question",
         Alert.YES | Alert.NO, this, closeHandler, null, Alert.YES );
    Then handle the response in the closeHandler() function:
    protected function closeHandler( closeEvent:CloseEvent ):void
    if( event.detail == Alert.YES )
         navigateToURL( new URLRequest('http://forums.adobe.com'), '_self' );
    else if( event.detail == Alert.NO )
         // they chose no
    The following documentation on Alerts may be helpful:

    Let me know if that helps...

  • TS1543 my mac wont stop at single user it continues to root, how can i get to single user to enter info needed to reset password

    I my mac wont recognise my password, i have tried to reset password using single user but my mac wont stop at single user it just continues to root, how do i get it to stop at single user so i can add info needed to reset password?

    Are your sure that wasn't a Verbose boot (Cmd-V) you were trying? That would go on to a regular boot.
    Try a PRAM Reset, then try the single user, Cmd-S, at the startup chime. For the PRAM Reset, hold down Option - Cmd - P - R all together until it chimes a total of three times, then let go to finish booting.

  • How to set dynamic expiration date in User Task

    Hi
    I need to set the expiration date of a User Task to a specific date, not a duration. Is it possible to do this?

    I have also got a smiliar problem. Does anyone have any further information to how this can be achieved?
    I have been able to use the Human Task Wizard screen (<usertask>.task) to hard code the expiration time. Using the Fixed Duration option of days, hours or minutes. I have tried to use the 'By Expression' to do this but have been unable to get it to work. I have tried to select the /task:task/task:systemAttributes/task:expirationDuration or the /task:task/task:systemAttributes/task:expirationDate element within the task workflow xsd but are unsure how to get it to read the date. I have tried to assign a time component to expirationDate and a time period P0DT0H20M to the expirationDuration element.

  • How to stop  the users from changing the Decimal in SAP

    How  to stop  the users from changing User Profile

    Hai,
    It is not possible to restrict SU3 to display, because it has only S_TCODE has the authorization object.
    If you really want to restrict users from changing their profile you have to remove the SU3 access and give SU1 or SU2 which gives access only to Personnel details and Parameters.
    Hope this helps.
