How to stop users configuring mail in iphone

Hi
My company want to restrict users configuring official mails in mobile phone without getting proper approval. I disabled active sync for the users, but still the user able to configure mail in iphone devices..
Anybody tell me how to restrict this..

It is not possible to install the iTunes store on an iPhone, nor is it necessary.
The iTunes store app is already installed in iOS and cannot be removed.

silly question... but Aperture keeps opening whenever my iPhone is plugged in. Does anyone know how to stop this? Not a big deal... but its getting annoying!

And, if you want Aperture to launch when you connect your camera, but not when you connect your iPhone, open Image Capture when your iPhone is connected, highlight your iPhone in the sidebar, and select the No Application option in the lower left-hand corner where it says "connecting this iPhone opens"
You can have different options for each device.

How to prevent users configuring outlook in personal laptops

we are having exchange server 2010 and my company don't want to allow users to configure outlook in there personal laptops(system which is not in domain).
FYI we cant disable outlook anywhere since people using official laptop outside.
Outlook anywhere, webaccess hosted through ISA 2006.
Is there any way to do it..

Yes, there are some restrictions if you limit the computer name in AD for user accessing. This would limit users only log on the Windows machine and Outlook on the specific computer. If the user wants to access his account or Outlook in another domain-joined
computer which is not in the Log On To list, it can’t be succeed either.
If that is not what you needed, I think we need to disable Outlook Anywhere and use VPN for the remote official laptop. Here is a similar thread for this requirement:

Open the Settings app > Mail,Contacts,Calendars > [scroll down to the Mail section] Tap Show and set to whatever number appears reasonable to you, keeping in mind this is the total email count, including newer messages.

How to stop user profiles clean-up job from deleting Active users.

Hi,
Somehow bunch of active users profile are marked for deletions and their managers have received email saying it will be deleted in X days.
I know if we disable My Site Clean Up Job, it will not delete any profiles. But I want that job to continue running and stop active user profiles from getting deleted.
How do I proceed here...

I understand SharePoint 2010 MySite clean up timer job is deleting active user profiles.
Firstly, I need to confirm with you that the timer job will work on below two situations:
1.When you use the web UI in Central Administration to delete a user profile
2.When a user who was included in a previous user profile import is no longer included in the import.
The second point bears a little more explanation, please refer to How Is A User Profile Deleted?

How to add user e-mail to a custom report?

I am not a sql DBA, but trying to find out exact line that I should add to the query for any custom report, to show user e-mail address field as well.
For example, I use this query for all machines running unwanted software (found this query on google) :

How to stop user from forwarding his mail

Dear Experts,
I am using the class cl_bcs to generate mails to some users , it would be great if i can stop those users from forwarding such mails to some unauthorised people. I understand that the add_recipient method has the parameter I_NO_FORWARD which should probably do the job when set to 'X' . But unfortunately it still doesnt stop the users from forwarding.
Is there any other way of achieving my requirement.

MM--Purchasing -- environment data -- Define system messages or Tcode--OMCQ
set the message number 06 076 as error message , then system will not allow the same line item to cross the PR qty

How to stop the configuration wizard

Hi ,
I am running a configuration task(wizard based) in NWA(netweaver administrator). during the wizard, I lost internet connection, when I connected again, the application expired. I want to reexecute the wizard, but its status is "Currently executing" and "re-execute" button is disabled. so how can I stop the dead wizard and re-execute it?
My system is CE7.11 on windows&oracle.

I am sure this is a bit late, but I had this problem today and found the answer. Restarting the whole instance would surely do the same thing, but thats not always an option.

How can I cancel/re-execute configuration task which has "Currently executing" status?
This may happen if your web session has expired during execution of configuration task which was not able
to finish in the background because it needed some user input/response. The next time you login to
Configuration Wizard if the server is not restarted you will see this task with "Currently executing" status
which prevents you from re-executing the task. The status can be cleared by restarting the
"tc~lm~ctc~cul~startup_app" application.
To do this go to
http://<host>:<port>/nwa -> Operation Management -> Systems -> Start & Stop -> Java EE Applications
Then stop and start the application.

How to delete user data from damaged iPhone?

Hi,
I have a damaged iPhone 3GS that I'm selling for parts on ebay. The device's is currently stuck on "update mode", basically I was updating to iOS 6.1 a while back and in the middle of the process, the phone returned an "hardware error" message and now it's allways stuck on the "connect to itunes" screen.
No matter what resets I try to do or restores, it wll allways return the "hardware error" message and then to the apple screen and finally to the "connect to itunes" screen.
So, I decided to sell it for parts since I've bought another (newer) iPhone, but I wanted to make sure that all my user data (accounts, text messages, phone numbers, etc.) was deleted just in case the lucky buyer manages to get it fixed. How can I do this?
Will the "clear phone data"option on iCloud do the trick, or do I need to do something more?
I also know that have to remove the iPhone from my iCloud account, is this correct?
What are procedures can you guys recomend for this?

I have a "new" piece of information about this issue that might help clarify the problem a bit.
I plugged it in today to do a final check on it's maladies and this is what happened:
1.Device starts charging
2.Device show the "connect to iTunes" screen (the one with the USB and itunes icon)
3.I connect it to iTunes
4.iTunes says something like: "This iPhone's software is damaged. A factory reset is required to restore the OS. Your device will be reset to factory settings and all your data will be deleted. After the reset is completed, you will have the possibility to restore your information on the device"
5. I click "Restore iPhone"
6. It starts checking for software, extracting software, etc.
7.I get the apple screen with the loading bar
8. On iTunes the process stops on the "restoring firmware" step. It gets stuck there for a couple of hours and then eventualy it returns an hardware error
9. The loading bar on the apple screen gets full, but the iPhone never manages to leave "restore iPhone" mode.
From all the iTunes messages and procedures that I'm doing, I take it that the iPhone's memory is in fact already wiped clean, am I assuming it right? That's why he won't boot and is stuck on recovery mode?
Can I also assume that any data I had there cannot be recovered unless I restored it from my laptop/iCloud?
And finally and just out of morbid curiosity, anyone has an idea about what is wrong with the iPhone? I never managed to figure out what happened or if it's something "fixable".

hi i was checking my email on my iphone i discovered that both the delete botton and reply are missing how do i configure the mail so i can delete or reply to mail ?

If you are using a pop account on the iphone, make sure that your computer is not accessing the email at the same time.
When 2 devices try to access the pop account at the same time, you can get this message.
Also, when the iphone downloads messages from a pop account, it only gets a list of the messages and not the whole message.
Then when you tap on the message to view it, the iphone downloads and caches the rest of the message.
If the iphone has a list of messages, then the messages gets downloaded on the computer and deleted from the account, there is not a message for the iphone to download.
The reason for this, is that when a computer downloads from a pop account, the default is for the computer to delete the message from the email server. So the now the message only exists on the computer.
Also, this message can come up if you are using the edge network and it is taking to long to download the message. If this is happening, the email server might time out.

Since upgrading to Lion, Firefox, Mail and Hogwasher (a newsreader application) all open automatically when the computer starts up. I don't want or need this to happen but cannot find any way of preventing it. I have checked my user login items, but none of these apps is among those listed. Mail filtering must be done at the server level. So, see if your mail provider offers filtering & how to setup the various rules. Such cannot be done on the phone itself.
