How to store pictures/files on icloud but delete off of ipad

Hi,
Does anyone know how to upload their files/pics/vids to iCloud while also being able to delete them off of my local iPad? My iPad is running out of space and I thought I could upload and store these files on the cloud while removing locally.

You can't do this with iCloud; iCloud is designed to keep your data synced across all your devices and to back up your device, not to serve as a way to expand the storage of your device. To do this, import your photos and videos to your computer and delete them from your camera roll, as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083.

Sorry AMCarter3, my bad. While it used to be in GoodReader they apparently removed it some time ago, supposedly for some legal reasons?
I too use GoodReader primarily with dropbox and box so had not noticed it was gone.
As an aside, for those apps that support iCloud storage, if you have a Mac, enable Documents & Data in the iCloud control panel. That will make a folder on your hard drive, named "Mobile Documents" that is your local mirror of your iCloud folders. Apps that sync their content to iCloud will make a folder for themselves when they first conntect to iCloud, and that folder will in turn get created as a sub-folder in Mobile Documents on your Mac (I still have my one for Goodreader, "JFJWWP64QD~com~goodiware~GoodReader", along with ones for Pages, Numbers, and a host of others).
You can then drag and drop any file you wish into that folder (as long as it is a file type supported by the app), and they will then sync to iCloud. You then use the app and download them for use on your iOS device from within the app. That folder on your Mac will be updated whenever it changes and your Mac has internet access to iCloud.
But, for PDFs in Goodreader, yes, dropbox works great, and has their free companion app for OS X if you want things on your computer to sync automatically too.

How do I move files in iCloud while using my mini iPad?

I just recently got an iPad mini with retina display. This is my first iPad. There are many things that are new to me.
At the moment, I'm trying to figure out how to move or delete files in iCloud Drive while using my mini iPad. As I understand it, the only way to look at, organize or move files in the iCloud drive is to login to iCloud via a browser other than installing a separate specific application that lets me do that. However, I have found that even if I login to the iCloud drive using a browser, I still can't move or delete files while using the mini iPad although I can view the file list and folder list, create file folders, and use files for which I already have an application installed.
How do I get around this so that I can do those things? Do I really have to get a separate application to do that? If so, what's a good one to use?

don't use raw data type if u r in oracle 8.0 or greater. For this purpose in oracle 8i BLOB data type is provided which is stored the image or any binary file.
for loading the image from any OS file to blob data type column, use dbms_lob.loadfromfile procedure.

Hi,
directories creates basis. If you have task to store data in application server you already should have information into which folder you have to do it. If you don't have this information because it is just for example training for next task then you can use your personal folder into which you have access. To get list of all available folders please look at attached code and form get_directories (you get the list of folders you see in transaction AL11). But don't forget: If you are using open dataset you have to have rights to access application folder!

Hi,
how do I share files on iCloud between different apps?
I would like to edit simple plain text files on my Mac and my iPad using different apps. They don't see the content of each other. How do I fix this?
example:
when I create a .txt files:
Byword on Mac syncs nicely with Byword on iOS.
Ulysses 3 on Mac syncs nicely with Daedalus Touch.
BUT, cross-sync is not possible.... :/
How can I change this? - I would like to work with Byword on my Mac and Daedalus on the go.

Cross-sync only works if an app on the iDevice allows it. For example, some apps (editors) sync with Dropbox (icloud usually isn't the thing to use) but only in their own folders.
If you save a file from the mac to it's own folder, A, on dropbox and on the device you use a different app that uses its own folder, B, then you won't be able to reach folder A on the device.
One thing to look for in editors that support Dropbox (most do, on a device - clearly all do on a mac) is whether they access dropbox using the root folder. From there you can drop down to any subfolder and reach the files you want.

If you have a default managed library and import photos they are copied to the iPhoto library and you can delete the soruce copy
