How to store variables when logging in and out of course

Hi there,
I hope I can explain this properly! I am developing a course using Captivate 7, and it includes drag and drop exercises, free text box entries and an unmarked quiz at the end of each module.
We are using Cornerstone LMS and learners will be able to log in and out and resume the course from the point they had last reached.
My problem is - if you enter text into one of the free text boxes, I have set it to store it as a variable, so that this variable can be displayed on another page in the course. But when you log out and then log in again, it has lost everything that was typed it.
The same with drag and drop - it doesn't remember where you had dragged the boxes to.
Is there a way that I can make sure the text entered into the text entry boxes is stored in the LMS and will still be displayed when a learner logs back into the course?

User defined variables are stored in the suspend data. As long as you exit the course normally and do NOT check Never Send Resume Data, your user defined variables should be available.
Captivate also stores quiz data, but not the state of a quiz. You will not be able to drag one object, exit the course and return with one object dropped. You can see an example of suspend data from my LMS, notice the user variable inRemediation which is initially false, but was set to true, then exited and returned with the value as true:

Try to change the credit information from your iphone or other ios device. Tap on settings > store > tap Apple ID > tap view account > tap payment information > change

I encountered the same exact problem when I attempted to re-installed OSX Lion on an old laptop. The date was set back in 2000, which rendered the certificate obsolete. Here's how I fixed it:
From the recovery menu, select the Terminal application. Run the 'date' command to confirm the date is wrong, then set the correct date using this command: date {month}{day}{hour}{minute}{year}
e.g. date 1219195613
Exit terminal (type exit). Retry the installation.

This has nothing to do with your pictures. As long as LR works, nothing happens. The CC app merely has lost an entry in the installer database. Would a reinstall fix it? Sure. Is it necessary? Not really (until the next version or update). So unless you have too much time to spend or something isn't working, I'm sure you can find more interesting things to do with your tiem. Otherwise use the cleaner tool and get to it:

No, the camera connection kit only supports the copying of photos and videos to the Photos app, it doesn't support copying content off the iPad. For your second camera instead of the SD reader part of the kit, does the iPad to camera cable not work with it for direct transfer to the iPad ?
For Lightroom and Nikon software again no - you can only install apps that are available in the iTunes app store on your computer and the App Store app on the iPad, 'normal' PC and Mac (OS X) software are not compatible with the iPad (iOS). This is a new install of NetApp. We don't have anything on the storage yet. VSC 4.2 was installed on vCenter for performance testing right now. One thing I have noticed was, when I try accessing the VSC snap-in. It takes like 65secs to come up. That's not normal. -IT

Not easily.
Remember, RIM and the BlackBerry were made famous for their "always on push" email technology.
You will need to either turn off the data signal on your device (see Manage Connections > Mobile Network) or disable the account in your BIS login, where you setup the email account.
Or, ignore the incoming email.

There is no "Dos-Mode" in OSX.
Guessing that you tried to run an .exe file while in OSX ?
These are meant to be run in Windows.

Chat Messages do not show date and time of buddies logging in and out.

If I keep my buddy chat with friends open, it used show the date and time that they log in and out. Now after updating to Yosemite, it does not and also will show the last message exchange as something way older that the last chat session. Not the actual last exchange. Why?

I realize that my needs are outside of the normal editing workflow. I am a private investigator and last week I shot over 6 hours of surveillance video on a Sony video camera. Within this 6 hours of video there is at most 2 minutes of actual footage of my subject. So what I wanted to do was just import the parts of the clip I want, so I can avoid importing the whole 6 hours, and then add a text title of some sort that shows the date/time. My problem is that once I get this clip I have easy way of establising the TOD short of taking the clip capture time and then counting up using the SMTPE Timecode. In this regard iMovie makes it easier because I can just hover over the clip and see the TOD of that specific frame. iMovie on the other hand would force me to import the whole 6 hour video so i'm left moving between both programs which is less than ideal.

Red light on memory-card when going in and out of sleep

Each time when my M,P, goes from and into the sleepmode, a little light flickers for a second from one or both of my memorycards...At the same time I hear an electrical click...
Is this normal??
Of course one has to open the side panel to see this happen..
Also when booting up, I hear the motor winding up up like a vacumecleaner, but then the sound gets soft : Normal??

Hi,talked with an apple technician who told me the leds on memory boards lighting up is normal , when going in and out of sleep and also with booting up and shutting down...
The leds lighting up are marked as: Q3A1, Q3A2, Q3A3 and Q3A4, situated right of middle on memory board..This lighting up is accompanied by a click..and a winding down or winding up sound of a motor...
Your machine has this as well??

Sound volume dropping when punch in and out.

I have an iMac 27" mid 2010 that I upgraded with 16GB RAM which runs Yosemite. I also have a focusrite sapphire pro 40 hooked to an octopre dynamic MK II. I am using Logic Pro 9.
When I record a band, after few punch ins, the software starts to glitch...
When I punch in, the punched stem is a bit quieter than the rest of the track, although nothing have changed in terms of levels.
Another issue is when I select the tracks I want to record before I press record everything is fine, then as soon as I press record all my tracks are record enabled apart from the ones I selected.
These issues occur always when the session is getting more tracks (approx 25/30 without any plug in just pure audio input)
Can someone please help!
Also I have a legitimate version of logic studio!

    string more than 255 characters.
      LRAW
Uninterpreted byte string of arbitrary length, but with a minimum
      length of 256. Fields of this type must be located at the end of
      tables and must be preceded by a length field of type INT2. LRAW
      fields cannot be used in the WHERE condition. LRAW is functional from
      Release 3.0.

How do I Log In and Out?

Obviously, I was able to Log In but that was by clicking around and also following Ali B's advice to delete my Apple cookies. I'm not sure if that was the fix or that I found a Login page elsewhere.
Also, as you can see, I'm not a newbie to the Discussions Forum, so that's not the problem.
On the right side of the screen, there is a box saying "Welcome, Lauren Hutton." Under that there are 7 options. If I click "Logout," I am redirected to a page saying something like: "Sorry, the page you requested doesn't exist." Earlier today, when I hit "Login" I received the same "Sorry" redirect. I ended up changing my password but I don't think that was the problem.
Has something changed in the way to Login into "Discussions?" Or does it have anything to do with the change to Safari 5? How do I get directly to the Discussions Login page?

There were some issues with the Discussions recently that have now been resolved.
These seem to centre around various categories appearing in other categories.
iChat was showing up in the iDVD section. Podacsts made an appearance in the Lounge. Many more were also listed. I understand Search was also effected.
It may have been the Logout link was part of this, But I have just tried it and the Log out works.
How do I choose where to post a question? I have found similar questions in many different areas. For example, if you have a problem with connecting a printer to a wireless network, you will find answers in MacBook Pro, AirPort, OSX 10.6 plus a few more places. I know you discourage duplicating a post, but how else can you get the best and fastest answer?
If you can spend a bit of time considering where to post it can help.
If an Issue appears in All Users Accounts then I would tend to go to either any App Specific Forum or to the relevant "Using ... (OS level here) Forum.
Using your example the more testing you can do the better as well.
For instance if a Printer works by USB but not Wirelessly or when connected to Base Station then the Airport Forums are more likely to be the best bet.
If it seems more to do with the set up screen in System Preferences then back to the Using ... Forums.
More often than not a Forum has one or two if not more regulars and if they think you may benefit from Posting somewhere else they will let you know. In some cases they may even ask the Hosts more your post.
As you point out there can be many ways to the answer so it not an absolute must to get it in the right place.
Other Quirks
On the main page there is an iChat AV category that contains the iChat 2.1 and earlier forum as well as the iChat 3 forums.
iChat 4's in in the Leopard Category and iChat 5's is in the Snow Leopard Category.
In that sense the Boards don't help themselves
It's not perfect. Regulars are aware of this and everyone will help (and cope).
You could always start... "I am posting here because of the Testing and attempts I have made so far to solve this..." Or "If someone feels this should be somewhere else could they say or even ask the Host to Move it please"
