How to straighten multiple images without cropping?
Hi, I have several archived documents that I would like to straighten, about 1000. I have photoshop elements 8 at home, and photoshop cs5 at work.
When I use the straighten and crop feature in photoshop cs5, it crops it far too short and I lose text. I can't find just a plain automatically straighten feature in cs5. I don't have time to use the ruler tool on each one. Is there a way to change the settings on the straighten and crop function so that it just straightens? Or at least leaves a border of pixels?
Elements has an automatically straighten tool, and it works great, but I can't figure out how to set an action to apply it to all of the items, or even just to use a keyboard shortcut to save time.
Any help would be great, I don't want to have to do each one individually, and each one is crooked by a different margin
What you describe is precisely how Epson default expansion to create bleed works, down the 1/8 inch amount. What printer are you using?
On my Aritsan 50, the dialogue to prevent this looks like the following image:
On my other Epson -- R1900, the dialogue is reached by selecting Page Layout Settings.

Consider adding the delete symbol to the Finder window tool bar. This way you can highlight all the photos you want to delete at the same time then hit the "delete" symbol.

thanks !!The short answer is that you'll put the source clip(s) for each inset on a different video track, all stacked up. Then use the Scale and Position effects (under "Motion" on the Effect Controls panel) to reduce their size and place them where you want.
If the content of an inset will involve edited content (where you're cutting among various clips or just trimming out unwanted content from a single clip), then you'll probably find it easier to do all those edits in one sequence, then nest that sequence in the master sequence, where you apply the Scale and Positioning effects. That will save the step of applying the scale and position effects to each edited track item. -

How to resize multiple images?
I am newbie to RH and would like to know if there is a method /shortcut by which I can resize multiple images?
Specifically to my project: I have close to 50 tables containing various images and their descriptions. When I insert these images into RH, the original image size is inserted and these images are of various sizes.
I know how to resize multiple images in Word but not in RH and hence, reaching to higher powers
I am using RH 9

variable, or make them all into an array. Then use something like:
myFrame.place("aFile");
If the script is not creating the frame, then are they live frames on
the page, or are they actually on a master page?
If they're on master spreads, you'll have to release them to the page
you want. (I think it's myMasterFrame.override(myPage) where myPage is
the live page you want to detach them on, but you'll have to double
check that.)
But presuming they're regular detached frames on a page, if you want
your script to figure out which is the first and which is the second you
can either use script labels in the UI and then search for the script
label, or else you'll have to write a function that will get all
rectangles on the page (myPage.rectangles.everyItem().getElements() and
either do a clever javascript sort, or write a straightforward function
to sort them by height and x-pos.

an ABAP transaction can only run or at least be started on one single system. A portal transaction can be assigned using a URL. This doesn't need any logical component.

How To - Validate Multiple Image Upload
Ok... I have a page where user can insert some informations in a database and also upload related images (without saving to the database).
This is a free site that I'm developing for humanitary proposes, and I do want him to be good. If people responsable for submiting information of an abandonned dog do not upload an associated image, the site will have no sucess. So, its mandatory to upload some images of the dog.
Question: How can we validate the multiple upload image SB to be "required" and IF no image is uploaded then, no Insert transaction will be made?

well, there´s a problem with using the Multiple Image Upload *without* saving image names etc to a table :: the Insert or Update transaction that´s required to use this "multi upload" flavor, will be executed *first* and
(just hope this isn´t plain wrong, but I don´t think so) has no clue of what´s exactly getting triggered afterwards
This is a sort of "master/slave" chain of actions where the "slave"
(the upload process) will just do his work after the "master"
(the Insert transaction) has successfully done something else before -- but not vice versa.
About the validation as such :: ADDT will always let you validate fields, as long they belong to a certain transaction -- but the "without save to database" image upload procedure is not part of the transaction, that´s why it´s not validatable.
I would suggest using the "with save to database" multi-upload flavor instead. This variant will be adding an Insert transaction, and the uploaded file names will be part of this transaction and hence are supposed to be validatable. I hope :-)
Now you might wonder why, because you assumingly don´t need all the file name info that has been stored. That´s right, but if you´d store that stuff in a "dummy" table which has no other purpose than to simply "be there", it might make some sense -- noone will ever force you to query that dummy table, so what ? :-)
That´s actually all just some "food for thought" for you, as I never tried that myself -- but from knowing ADDT´s "logic", I´m somewhat certain it will work out after all.

I am quite a beginner for adobe photoshop CS6. I belive such an automated task is possible through 'Automated Batch' function and/or 'Create Droplet' function. Kindly share your expert opinion.If you want to go with Batch I would recommend creating an Action of more or less these steps:
• set the resolution to the same as the background image’s
• change the image from Background Layer to regular Layer if necessary
• convert it to a Smart Object
• add a Drop Shadow Layer Style to the image (do not use Global Angle)
• place the background image (File > Place …)
• move it behind the image layer
• Image > Reveal All
• make Selection from that layer’s transparency (cmd-click its icon in the Layers Panel) and use Image > Crop
• select and transform the image layer to fit the intended position
This would naturally work out best if the images had the same size and proportions.
For the reflection on the floor duplicate the image, flip it vertically, move it in position and reduce its opacity to maybe 10%.
Realistically you may have to hide it partially behind the pillows, a Vector Mask would be an option. -

i have developed the applet for image rotation and cropping at the client side.i am able to do the all operation at client side but my problem is to how upload those file to server.please any one help me regarding this issue because i am new to java technology

How to load an image without a gui? big problems...
Hey guys, I usually try my best to not ask for help and figure stuff out myself. But this last week i've been having big problems with this work project.
My goal is to load images from disk, and append them to each other to create one big image.
The images are 0-9.jpg each file containing a number in it. then i create one big file with 4 numbers in it. called final.jpg.
so far i can do all this, but whenever the program is finished, the application just keeps running. the program has literally gone through all the steps... i have a system.out.println printed on the last line after the main, after the class instantiation... and still it stays running.
how do you guys load images without a gui? This program will probably be running under unix, so i can't create a (for component example)
Panel() and media track the file load... so i'm pretty much stumped
any help you guys can provide would be really incredibly helpfull at this point. I have searched these threads for a few hours without luck. I found only 1 real post related to my problem, but eventually they said use MediaTracker = new Mediatracker( new Panel() ); which i can't use. :(

I FINALLY found a way...
