How to supervise (and fix) using BPEL web services in AIA?

We have unbelievably many problems with using AIA & web services concerned. Is there any way of online monitoring using the web services, checking data/parameters provided and fixing what needed - before a disasters comes? The supervising layer should work WITHOUT the same environment (rather on the system level) in order to be on a qualitative much higher reliability level. I would gratefully appreciate any experience to help us from heavy problems...

With one button you want to perform 3(Create, Update and Delete) operation
To create:
First check whether the data exist with full combination of Name,Desc and City.
If not exist you can execute the create function.
If exist, get confirmation to delete the item by pop up. Using item ID you can perform Delete operation
To Update:
How you want to update the item, by keeping unique value or combination of columns?
based on that you can perform the update operation.

How to compile and deploy JAX-WS web service from commandline (!) ?

I have read a couple of tutorials about how to create and deploy web services with
certain IDEs (e.g. Eclipse).
But I found no guide on how to compile a java web service source from command line !!
Lets say I have a java source class with annotations inside (like "@WebMethod").
How do I generate with the built-in j2ee v5 tools from a web service from command line and deploy it e.g. to TomCat or JBoss ?
Is there somewhere such a simple step-by-step intro?

You can download JWSDP 2.0 from sun and install it. Under jaxws (the installed directory) you can find sample directory which has build.xml can be run from command prompt using ant. if you want in detail means go through the build.xml and use wsgen.bat or wsimport under the bin directory of jaxws

How to check resource existance using standard web-services?

Hi,
There was the web-service KMNodeServiceStrdWSVi_Document in the SAP EP 7.0 that exposed the function "exists" checking whether the folder exists or not.
SAP EP 7.3 does not contain KMNodeServiceStrdWSVi_Document web-service and I did not find any function in the RepositoryFramework web-service.
Is there any other web-service providing this functionality?

I got the data in the context in the response node .But the problem is that the web service returns an array of objects which inturns has array ob object, I m only able to get those values from the response node from the context which are simple string type.Could u pls tell me how can i get the complex data which is present in the response node in the context.
Can i traverse the node(i.e) the rray in the context.CAn u tell me wat can i do.The response node has the complex structure as defined in the WSDL file ,i just need to get the data present in the array of that context which is populated by the web service.

Iphone/hotmail/missing images,pictures,attachments/how to recover and fix using iphone

Hello, few days ago i transfered some pictures from my iphone to my email. Every thing transfered smoothly i double checked b4 sending more in my outlook on phone n safari email as well. Every thing was fine. Couple days later i checked my email every thing was eh okay i went to open a folder i had pics in it opened up they where in the folder until it disappered. So i went in safari opened it up in that folder the file is there with details but on attachment icon or image where did my pictures go in this file n why wont they show ? The other pics are fine just a few that i placed in this file seemed to have been effected ? Any ideas or answers in to recovering my pictures ? Thanks

You need JavaEE agent and configure odi run time service. BPEL can then call this service to start an odi scenario.

I am trying to use ExtendedPropertyType and put in UpdaterItemType as in this code as below. Although it is not updating the Owner
field.
I have tried it both by Propertyname and PropertyID. Although new custom property's canbe
added but to change an existing one like 'Owner' ? Would this be the right method.
2. And Is ProprertyID a fixed value as 0x811f or does it need to be calculated.
3. Is 'Owner' the right propertname for assigning a task ?

How to verify and fix, if necessary, a design that is likely to be corrupted? I first suspected I corrupted file when an attempt to reverse-engineer changes from the relation model to the logical did not work. After some investigation I found datamodeler.log file to which the following error was emitted whenever the reverse-engineer button was clicked: 2013-01-28 11:39:32,001 [AWT-EventQueue-0] ERROR MDBAction - java.lang.NullPointerException. This error message is reproducible. There are also additional warnings in the log whenever this particular design is opened such as [Thread-133] ERROR XMLTransformationManager - Unable to load object from XML: ..../model/dw/rel/A864FBB0-411F4EF06C86/table/seg_0/C4046530-1A69-AD31-6127-390C93D8F7F7.xml java.io.FileNotFoundException. The design has been moved from one Data Modeler version to another over the years. It is currently version controlled by SVN but, alas, I have not been able locate a fully functional copy from the repository. (People usually only use forward engineering from the logical model which appears to work fine most of the time.)
I have investigated the design and located a single table object in the relational model that appears corrupted. It cannot be removed from the design with the DataModeler UI (nothing happend when I click on delete on the object menu). I then checked out a testing copy of the design and manually removed all the files with the object identifier in the file name. Additionally, I searched for xml blocks with a reference to the object identifier and deleted the corresponding blocks from those file. After that the reverse-engineering button began to function again. However, I am afraid of commiting a manually edited design to the repository as I am not certain that I have not broken something else.
What is the recommended way to verify a design and fixing problems in it? Starting a new design from scratch is not an option since there is plenty of documentation within the design that cannot be easily obtained elsewhere. I could recreate the broken objects from the data dictionary if I first had a safe way to identify and delete them from the design.

Using ABAP Web Service tor convert IDoc to XML and transfer to SOAP Server

I have a problem to use ABAP Web Service to convert IDoc's to XML and then send them to a SOAP Server.
Currently we have the following landscape:
SAP->XI->Archive
The sap-system (ECC6.0) sends an IDoc to the Exchange Infrastructe. The XI maps the IDoc and converts it to the required XML format, used by the archive. Afterwards, the XML documents are sended to the SOAP Server.
So I'm trying to replace the Exchange Infrastructure with ABAP Web Service.
I've read a lot of posts and documents reagarding ABAP Web Serivce, converting IDoc's to XML, RFC and so on, but I'm not able to do the replacement.
I don't know how to start and which steps are required.
The required roles and authorizations at the sap-system and the service for soamanager and the Web Service Viewer are available.
First I thought to create the RFC and partner profiles and then the report to convert IDoc to XML as a BAPI. With this BAPI I supposed to create and define a Web Service. The problem is, I don't know how to trigger the report if the Idoc should be send to the archive.
Hopefully, someone has an idea or a how-to for me.

Hi BigTicket.
A suggestion to trigger the BAPI / WebService at the IDoc receiving is to use a user exit or enhanced inside the idoc function module. When the idoc arrived to the idoc port the system start the related function module and then your user exit/enhanced in which you invoke your BAPI.

I've tried using SharePoint Web Services with BPEL, I'm able set it to use the sharepoint web service as a partner link in orchestration, but when I try to compile the bpel file, I get a "error: null" on the compiler log for the *.bpel file.
Anyone have any success with using Sharepoint Web Services with BPEL?

You need to write a client that will access the Web service and invoke it.
You can write the client in Java for example - and JDeveloper provides wizards for this.

ok easiest way it to restore to factory setting and start from there. When you go to do your first sync you don’t “sync contacts or calendar”. When you add mobile me onto your Ipad select all the services that you want to enable and then mobile me will keep everything in sync.
